App says installing but never changes

Hi all,
I have lost some apps from my iPad for no apparent reason just literally disappeared. I go to app store and all those missing say installing but they are not. I have rebooted the iPad I have logged in and out of the store but to no avail.
Any help appreciated please!
My little daughters GarageBand projects have gone which is one of the biggest losses at the moment

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
- deleting and reinstalling the app
- Download on your computer and sync

Hi,
I have purchased certain apps and it says installed, but they are not showing on homepage

There is a limit of 11 homepages after which apps are only accessible via the iPad's spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right) - if you do have 11 screen then you can make more apps 'visible' by using app folders.
If you have less than 11 screens, then have you got an app age rating set in Settings > General > Restrictions that is hiding them ?

Apps saying installed but not there

I have just updated my phones firmware/software from 15.0.015 to 31.0.15 (my phone is Nokia N95 8gb and a couple of the apps that were installed on the mass memory are saying that they are installed but they are not in the applications folder or anywhere,so when i go to try and delete them it says 'Removing failed' so they wont remove, i cant think why this is happening, because some of the other apps that were on the mass memory have been gone, the apps that are still there are Snaptu, Pac-man (game) and Simon says (game). Everything else works lovely and faster now

Apps say installed but missing

Hi
I have two apps that say they are installed on my iPad, yet cannot find them. (Yes, have searched etc).
The apps show in my iTunes and also show as ticked in my synced iPad apps.
I've done what some other threads say....ie delete the apps from iTunes, re-sync ipad, re-download from iTunes, re-sync iPad.
Again, the apps show in iTunes, when go to apps store on iPad, they show as installed...but again they are no where to be seen.
Desperate for any other suggestions....

You've checked all your homescreens and app folders for them, and have you set any app age rating restrictions in Settings > General > Restrictions that might be hiding them ?
Also how many homescreens do you have - there is a limit of 11, after which apps are only accessible via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first homescreen to the right). If you've got less than 11 then you could try a reset and see if you can find them after the iPad has restarted : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
You could also try Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout which will reset the layout of all your apps, and may make them easier to find

App Says Installed but it's Not! Can't Re-Download

Hello,
I had Lion on my Mac Pro, then I did a clean install of Mountain Lion.
Now after having done a complete clean install, I log into the Mac App Store and it is showing me my app status's as if I was still on my OS before the clean install.
For Example it says:
Final Cut Pro            Update (Instead of Install)
Better Rename 9       Update (Instead of Install)
Both of those apps are not installed on my clean install Mountain Lion. They use to be installed on Lion before the clean install.
What's worse:
GarageBand      Installed (It's not installed)
I cannot click to install GarageBand. I tried Option-clicking on Purchases so that it would give me the option but it doesn't.
This is very frustrating.
Any help in understanding how to reset the App store into looking at the current Applications or resetting the store from within the account.

Reboot holding down the Command and R keys. This will get you in to the Recovery partition. From there you can reinstall the entire OS. Please note, Server.app will not be included in the reinstall. You will need to log into your App store account to download it.

An app is considered to be installed if it shows up in a Spotlight search of local volumes. Bring up a search window in the Finder by pressing the key combination command-F. Search This Mac for the name of the application. Delete all copies that are found.

Your phone connected, iTunes running, under the "Apps" tab, you've selected this app to install on your phone, correct? Hit the "Apply/Sync" button, lower right on the Apps tab, what happens?

Is it giving you any option to sign in or license this software. If yes click on sign in/License this software to proceed further and activate it. If it is perpetual license activate by entering your serial key and signing in and if it is a subscription then just sign in with your Adobe it an dit will get activated.

Premiere pro is saying 'installed', but hasn't actually installed on my pc? Someone help :S

I have a windows 7, intel premium pc and i have installed creative cloud and everything.. did everything it told me to do. then i downloaded premiere pro cs6 and it hasnt actually installed on my pc, cant find the app or even use it when i have paid for it -,- was part of a birthday present aswell so would like help FAST, as i'm starting a youtube (gaming) channel soon.....

This same exact thing has happened to me.
I downloaded 2 other apps and they are find. It is just the Premiere Pro that won't work.
I have the same OS as you also.
I explored the hard drives "Program Files" folder and there is no Adobe files for Premiere although the other two apps I downloaded are in there.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of the Account... Perform a Reset...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Hi, I was having the same problem on my new Mini. It would load fine on my iP3 and my phone but not my mini. My two daughters both have iPads linked to my iTunes account. They download a bunch of apps and I suspected this had something to do with it.
After a few hours, I found how to hide the purchased apps in iTunes (go to Store, App Store (up the top) then the Apps tab. Hover the mouse until you get an X then click on it. It doesn't delete it from your library, just stops it showing up on your iPad. I did this, launched Purchased on my iPad mini and boom they all came up. I just hid those I don't use/want any more, and some of the older ones my kids have purchased. Cut the number down from nearly 500 to 280 and it loads like a charm now.

Please try the following steps assuming its a MAC:
1) Open Activity monitor and Force quit Adobe CEF Helper, Creative cloud, Adobe IPC Broker & Crash Deamon if available.
2) Try to open, if doesn't work then go to Applications>> Adobe Creative cloud>> Right click>> Get Info>> Click on the Add sign>> Select the user you are logged in>> Give Read and write access.
3) If that doesn't work then enable the root user and launch to update there, check this link on how to enable/sign in to root user Enabling and using the "root" user in Mac OS X
Please let me know of that worked.

bug: I already owned copies of iWorks. In the store, Keynote says install but won't-nothing happens when you click on the install button.There was no problem with Numbers or Pages which installed smoothly.

I already owned copies of iWorks.
Previously owned copies of iWork cannot be opted into the MAS. You will need to purchase the MAS versions.
