App store account help.... Please

I just recently had to change my email adress. I updated the information in iTunes under account settings, but when I purchase a app on my iPhone, it's still showing my old email. Can someone please tell me how to change my account info on my phone!?!

Have you resynced your phone...the iPhone gets account info from your logged in account when you sync.

Try searching with Spotlight. Click the magnifying glass icon top right corner of your screen.
If you can't locate the apps, you can re download without being charged again.

Weird Problem trying to sign into my App Store Account ? Please Help !!

Im having a very weird problem trying to sign into my App store account to update my apps and to purchase new Apps. Ive tried to search the net but I cant seem to solve my problem.
Here is whats happening
My Email address is correct in my iTunes Account and also my App Store account. (which is basically the same anyway)
The problem I am having Is that when I try to download an App my old email address still shows up when it requests my password.
The weird part is that my email address is correct in my itunes and also at the bottom of my app store. Yet my old email is showing up when I try to sign into the App store.
Here are the steps Ive taken already to fix this problem and have failed.
I have signed out of my itunes and app store and signed back in..FAILED.
I went into my setting -STORE and signed out and back in..FAILED.
I dont understand why my old email is still showing up when I try to sign in to update or download an App !!!!
PLEASE HELP !!!

Apps are DRM protected & tied to the account that was used to originally purchase them. Were these apps purchased using your old account details?

Updates tab won't load in the app store.. help please!

Recently updated my iPhone 4s to iOS 6.1 and I have apps to update but my updates tab in the app store won't load!
I've tried everything I can, restarting my phone, turning on and off wifi, crossing the app and opening it again but none have worked so far!

Check iTunes on the computer you normally sync with. The app might still be there and you could sync it back onto your iPad mini. Then see if it still works on the most recent iPads.

The issue is that you purchased the apps in the US app store, not in the Mexican App Store.
If you set your App Store back to US, then you should be able to access your purchases from teh US Store.

My son is also getting this exact message on both our new laptop with Vista and the older desktop with XP. I am NOT having this problem on either machine. He has 18 downloads waiting and can't download them.
I have checked firewall settings, pop up blockers, outdated account info, and msconfig. I have uninstalled and reinstalled itunes and still am having this problem with his account.
I also tried logging into his user account on both the laptop and the pc and then logged him out of itunes and then logged myself in to see if it was the installation. I had NO problems. I then turned that around and logged into my user account on both the laptop and pc and then tried to log him into MY installation of itunes, but OOPS, got the error message again.
This has been going on for months and appears to be arbitrary. Sometimes a song will download, but sometimes another won't. He bought an album and only some of the songs downloaded. The others are "waiting to be downloaded" and when we try to "Check for Purchases", he still gets the message, even though he's IN THE STORE!

I just finished another "experiment".
I transcode the whole clip 1,2,3,4,5,6,7 to another ext Western Digital HDD and got the Error -50 too. Problem is this ext Western Digital HDD is Daisy chained to the LaCIe.
So, I tried transcoding to another ext Western Digital HDD connected to my router. And this time NO PROBLEM.
So, I should readjust the FW800 connectors.
What do you mean by the controller of the Firewire ?

well..... okay i tell u the hole story. i called the apple support because my gift card code didnt work they told me that i put my app store on hong kong. do u know what i mean like i have to buy gift cards from hong kong to get the money. than i changed it to my country and tried it again. know it dindt work again. right after that a message came and told me my account has been locked because i used for example a wrong street that doesnt even exsist. so know i tried everyting. after like half an hour i gave up and called them again and thy told me it should work if i do it like i did it . if not i should try it with the internet. ok i tried it but it stillwont work . okay thats it. know PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!

App Store Account Problem

Okay so I bought my iPad 2 with 3g last Sunday. The programmer there installed alot of apps into my iPad and then I payed him for that. When I got home I made my apple ID to be able to update apps. I tried to update apps using the app store, but I can't because no matter how many times I log in/out and log in again my OWN apple ID, the password of the programmer's apple ID ********@y.com is always asked. I cannot even update a single app from my iPad! I am beginning to get frustrated, I guess he wants me to go back to him and pay him again.
So basically its like the App Store in my iPad is locked into the programmer's account.
P.S. I tried syncing to my PC but the buttons on the apps and my iPad screen are grey-ed. So I cannot add apps either. Help please!

I suggest that you return the iPad and instruct whomever it was to remove the apps and return your money.
1. Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that bought them. They cannot be updated with anyone else's Apple ID. They will never be part of your Apple ID.
2. App does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another.
3. The End User License Agreement does not allow this type of sharing. You iPad is now filled with pirated apps.
As far as syncing your own content from your computer, go to Settings/Store and tap the Apple ID and Sign Out. Then sign in with your own Apple ID. You should then be able to download and sync your own content.

I want to set up an app store account without a credit card

i want to set up an app store account without a credit card and it shows on the help site online an option to set up with none but on my phone it only shows visa mastercard and amex i already updated the software to the 5.0.1

i tried those steps on my phone before creating an account
i am still stuck with the 3 choices. i went so far as to create other accounts from scratch to get the choices. i did not even have itunes on the 2nd computer i tried on so would be hard to sign out of it

you can't from the iPad.
Go to iTunes on a computer, log in with your apple ID and select 'account'.
After that , select 'payment method' and select 'none'.

I finally found a way.. I've installed the application on my App store account from an other computer (where this app was not installed..) . The application has now disappeared from my MBP.
