App Store and Contact icons diappear
I have read a few advices on this forum on how to get those icons back, but it doesn't work. I have all ON for the setting of Restrictions. I tried both ON and OFF but nothing changed so far. I also tried to reset the Home Screen. I haven't tried the reset all yet since I don't want to lose all other stuff I have. Would anyone please help me out to get those icons back without doing the factory reset action? Thanks!

I just recently got a iPad min and let it do the update to 7.0.3 iOS and after it ran the App Store and safari icons are missing?
Safari should be in the Dock.

I am trying to update a new iMac from Snow Leopard to Lion. When I click on install in the app store, the LIon icon jumps down into the dock and nothing happens. The message above the icon is "waiting." Eventually, the icon disappears. How can I install Lion?

App store and safari icons missing
Happened after a couple of apps didn't download properly.
Restrictions are not on.
Brand new phone... has had lock ups before requiring reboot and re-entering of start up info.
Am suspecting a dud phonedid all that before. Nothing. It's made apps disappear too even though when plugged in itunes thinks they are still on the phone. And you can't reinstall the app store!
After talking to apple this evening going to Apple store next week. Person on the phone did admit that sometimes apple make lemons... 3 days old and it has already locked about 3 times. £600 dud! -
After updating my iPhone 4s to iOS6 my app store and iTunes icons are missing
The title says it all! Updated to iOS 6 over wifi and my app icons are gone! Using the search my iPhone feature yields no results!
Look carefully into folder. Otherwise go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout. This will reset All icons arrangement on your iPhone.

hello apple guys, after installing OS X Mavericks, i can't open app store, reminders, contacts, mail(crash), maps, Image Capture, and other apps that comes with Mavericks OS, how i can solve this problem?
So is this the way Apple works now? Not solving customers problems? I'm sure so many users have had this problem. I've had, and I reinstalled Mavericks 3 times. Works fine for some days and then several Apple Apps stop working. Is that a way to force us ti update to Yosemite? (I don't want to) and then pay to update some third party programs (i.e. Pro Tools). Also, there are so many 15" MacBooks Pro with graphic problems and of course the guys at the Apple Service Centers always say: "It's the logic board, you can have it replaced, but it's so expensive I would recommend a new Mac". I really, really miss Steve Jobs!

I have recently purchased some apps from the app store and after downloading them, the icon that appears in the dock changes to a different icon. It is now the same icon appearing on all newly downloaded apps. Does anyone know what is happening here? Even updating an older game app resulted in the original game icon changing to the new identical icon that all new apps are appearing with. This new icon is like a page with a ruler, pencil and paintbrush. Any tips on how to stop this or how to revert to the icon as it appears on the app store would be appreciated.

I bought IPROXIFY throught APP STORE and it does not work. I contacted the creator and he has not answered.
How can I get my money back? and please take him down of your page as we (users) think that we are buying products that worked backed up by MAC.

My instagram app icon on my iphone 4 is missing. When I go to the app store and try to reinstall it, it says open. When I search for it on my phone it can't find it? What should I do?
Make sure your phone is connected to the computer and iTunes is open
1. Visit Instagram.com from your computer web browser
2. Click "Download in the app store"
3. It will download and show up in your iTunes
4. Highlight and sync the app to your iPhone (note: it will not show up on your phone, even after it says syncing is complete).
5. In iTunes, select the Instagram icon and click "Remove" or "Uninstall"
6. Click Accept and Uninstall when it asks you to confirm as it will remove instagram and its data from your iPhone
7. Disconnect the phone from the computer
8. Manually reboot the phone after exiting all apps
9. Upon re-start, you will be able to access the app in the App Store, and install it -
I need help please. I have 6 apps updates shown on on the upper right corner of the app store icon. When i tried to open the apps store and go to updates, the apps that need to be updated were not appearing therefore i have no idea what those apps are so that i can update them. I'm having this problem. It started yesterday. I have 2 updates, but when I open the App Store, they won't appear.
Do you have apps purchased with a differnt AppleID?
For example, mine shows 12 updates but only 2 show up as being available.
The others are on my daughters account.
I log out of my iTunes account and log in with hers and those updates show up. -
Recently when I install apps, the icon does not appear on the menu screen, also, it shows that it is downloading at the app store and when complete, I can not open it or reinstall it. Has happened on the last 4 free apps. Help Please
Reset your iPad. Press and hold both the power and home buttons for 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till you iPad starts on it's own. Now try and download an app.
