App Store Application Deleted

The App Store Application disappeared (was probably deleted) from my iPad.  How do I get it back?
Thanks

You can see if it download on your iTunes and than sync it, if thats uncomfortable for you, you can just go back to app store and download it again.

  • App Store Accidentally Deleted

I accidentally deleted mac app store. How do i re-install it? (I am using the latest version of mountain lion)

If you try to move the App Store application file to the Trash bin in the Dock you will get this warning
and will be prevented from doing so.  I'm siding with WZZZ in that you removed it from the Dock and didn't actually delete it. Locate the app  in the Applicaitons folder and drag it back to the Dock

Can't re-install apps via App Store after deleting them.
I tried cleaning all appstore.plist, cache, cookie files.
    The problem remains the same.
    Please advice.

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
    Select
    /var/log ▹ install.log
from the hierarchical list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar. Then select the messages from the last installation or update attempt, starting from the time when you initiated it. If you're not sure when that was, start over and note the time. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
If there are runs of repeated messages, post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.
When posting a log extract, be selective. Don't post more than is requested.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.

  • App Store Application broken: can not connect to "iTunes Store"

    Hello,
I've upgraded to 10.6.6 and when I start the App Store application I see the app window with a white background telling me "Please wait a moment." and "Connecting to the iTunes Store." and nothing happens. It tries to connect forever. I also can not sign-in with my account - it sits and loads forever.
Maybe I just need to delete a cache or something. Any help is appreciated!
    Thanks, Marc

I'm having a similar problem on my MacBook. I can connect to the internet in Safari and Mail, but not in software update, Quicken Essentials. I was using 10.6.5, and manually downloaded and installed 10.6.6 hoping it would fix the problem, but it didn't. Now I also cannot connect to the app store. I have also tried repairing the permissions.

  • Reinstall app store application

I've deleted (foolishly) the app store as it wasn't working properly - it's was completely removed, not just removed from the dock. Now i'm having alot of difficulty reinstalling the app store application. I need help please!
After some googling, the suggested method was to download the 10.6.6 combo update package and use pacifist to install the app store component. However this didn't work, the app store won't open after this process. I then tried installing app store component using pacifist from the 10.10.2 combo update to bring the app store up to date, but still it won't open.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I've got problem report if that would help.

    Hi lexkel,
Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
I understand that you have deleted the App Store and would like to recover it. In this situation, I would recommend reinstalling OS X Yosemite.

I somehow deleted the app store application. It's the one where you can search new apps or update the ones you currently have  anyone have a way to restore it? Thanks

You cannot delete it.  It is likely on another page, in a folder, or you have restorictiosn set.
    Check all of these.

  • After creating an alias, the App Store application has disappeared from the Launchpad. Huh?!

So, I opened the Applications folder, then selected the App Store application and created an alias of it.
Now, when I activate the Launchpad the original app is nowhere to be found. The alias is there, but the application proper is not displayed.
It IS displayed (as well as the alias) in the Applications folder when I open that in the Finder.
I have no idea how to remedy this. Logging out and back in is fruitless. And a reboot makes no difference.
Any ideas, please?  Any one?  Bueller?  ;-)

Yes. The alias works.  And the App Store application (which is still in the Applications folder) also works.
Interestingly, I just tried a similar thing with the Adobe Reader app...created an alias of the application in the Applications folder. The same thing happened. The Adobe application disappeared from the Launchpad, replaced by the working alias. The fix for that was to delete the alias from the Applications folder. Then copy the Adobe app onto the desktop and finally copy it back into the Applications folder, answering "Replace" the original when prompted.
Of course, when attempting to copy the App Store app back into the Applications folder, the process cannot be completed because the OS says... “App Store” can’t be modified or deleted because it’s required by Mac OS X."

  • HT203421 Since installing Yosemite 10.10 the Apps Store application on my iMac does not work

installing Yosemite 10.10 the Apps Store application on my iMac does not work properly. Applications show up in the App Store window to be updated but in fact most of them do not download and install. Some 3rd party software does download and install but most Apple and HP Applications do not. They appear in some cases in both the Ready to update or install list and in the "Installed in the last 30 days list". In some cases when I click on "Update" it shows in the "Installed in the Last 30 Days list" but it is not installed.  In the case of the latest Yosemite 10.10.3 beta down load, it momentarily show up like it is downloading but then disappears and does not install.

I am now using Yosemite 10.10.2 and am trying to install the beta Download Yosemite 10.10.3 hoping it will resolve my problem but starts to download from the App Store snd then quits.

  • Is there any app store applications we can buy or get free which will permit to divide the screen in 2 such a way we can read at the left and take notes at the right ?

Are they any app store applications we can buy or get free which will permit us to divide the i-Pad screen in 2 , at the left we , for example , read a newspaper , and at the right , we can take notes ? Thanks for tour help .

I do not think there is an app for that..... Yet.  Part of the difficulty is the 'sandbox' nature of apps.  One app cannot open another app. ( with a few controlled exceptions)

My App Store is deleted and the option to turn it back on in restrictions is grayed out. How do I get the App Store back?

If a reset didn;t work, then you can try restoring your iPad. Don't restore from a back up because if there is a glitch with restrictions, it will just set that option up again. Of if you are sure you have a backup created before you changed restrictions settings, then you can back up from that.

  • My app store application on my iPhone 4S is not accepting my password for one of my Apple ids. I have a feeling it is because the ID isn't correct, it should be my email address and it is not just 1st portion.

My app store application on my IPhone 4S is not accepting my Apple ID and password. The ID comes up, but I don't think it is totally correct as it doesn't have the complete email address which is actually my ID. I know the password is correct because I just changed it even though I knew what my last one was, I changed to be extra sure. I am not sure how to change the ID in the App Store application.

    To change the ID:
Settings > Store > Apple ID. Sign Out of the old and in with the new.
