App Store: Can't any longer buy/pay in local currency

When from my iPod Touch I enter into the "App Store" in order to buy f.inst iPod Touch software, I have so far been able to buy from the Danish Store. However, apparently as from the latest update of the i Pod Touch software, one is referred to the US-Store with payments quoted in US dollars - and, by the way, one is not accepted on this latter store...reasons?

Open iTunes on your computer and go to the iTunes Store home page. Scroll to the bottom where you find the "My Store" selection and be sure the Danish store is selected. Sign in to your Store account and connect and sync your iPod.
When you sync your iPhone or iPod touch with your computer, the account last used to access the iTunes Store from the computer is synced to the mobile device for use in the iTunes Store from the device as well. This same account is used for the App Store as well. This account will be used on the device for both stores until you sign in from your computer to the iTunes Store with a different account, and then resync your mobile device with the computer. I have used Disk Utility, Drive Genius, deleting the .plist, all to no avail. My Mac Mail hasn't worked since the upgrade to Mavericks. Mavericks can't see my LaCie Cloudbox. I have the same error "XXXX App cannot be opened because of a problem". And I also cannot open iTunes and get the error "This copy of iTunes is corrupted or is not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes."
Only Apple apps seem to be at issue here...
Repairing Permissions did not fix this.

Do you see a price next to Lion ($29.99 or local equivalent)? Click that to purchase and download it. You'll have to sign in if you're not already.
Also, your profile is wrong if you don't already have Lion (which IS 10.7).

Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings

Hi , a similar thing happened to me with another piece of software .. it was then that I realized I have two accounts .. I have no recollection of setting up two but it seems I did somewhere along the line.. I have jimkells and the second is [email protected] .. so when I logged in as the other acc there it was and I was able to update .. could it be FCPX was bought on another user account ??

You can buy and install on all your IOS devices, and separately buy and install on all OSX devices, so 2 purchases.

Yes. Each one needs to have Snow Leopard 10.6.8 installed in order to re-download from the App Store unless you make your own USB flash drive installer:
Make Your Own Lion Installer
1. After downloading Lion you must first save the Install Mac OS X Lion application. After Lion downloads DO NOT click on the Install button. Go to your Applications folder and make a copy of the Lion installer. Move the copy into your Downloads folder. Now you can click on the Install button. You must do this because the installer deletes itself automatically when it finishes installing Lion.
2. Get a USB flash drive that is at least 8 GBs. Prep this flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.

You have a choice. You can start by erasing the drive and reinstalling Snow Leopard prior to purchasing and downloading the Lion installer. Or you can purchase and download the installer, save the Lion installer, create a bootable Lion USB flash drive installer, boot from the Lion installer, erase the hard drive, and install Lion. I would suggest the second choice:

To install Lion from scratch:
Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
Boot From Lion USB Flash Drive:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager appears. Select the icon for the USB flash drive then click on the arrow button below the icon.
Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

The missing apps could have been done by setting the Restrictions that can hid those apps. If the backup was made with those retrictions set the the Restrictions are also restored.
Thus, if you get it to work restore to factory settings/new iPod, not from backup

The FAQ is correct, but as long as the MAS thinks that the app is on your Mac it has no reason to allow an install.
Try this;
Trash the following folders and files; (~ is your Home folder)
     ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore
     ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.storeagent
     ~/Library/Cookies/com.apple.appstore.plist
     ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
     ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.storeagent.plist
Restart.
