It sounds as though you have a corrupt project - or possibly a file within an event that is causing the application to crash.
Quit FCP X, then move your projects and events (if you have any) to new folders so that FCP X doesn't find them, then relaunch the application. If it launches OK, there's a very good chance one of your projects or events is causing the problem.
Quit the app again, then move one event or project at a time back to the original folder and launch FCP X again - keep going until you find the cause.

I use iPad3 64GB and have been buying and downloading from App Store but recently, each time I want to buy or down load apps from the store, I will receive a popup, "your apple ID has been disabled". I have made efforts to download to no avail and have also change my password severally and later my username and still I get the same message. I bought recently the app "Amplitube Slash" for my iPod touch, through the app store and I paid 8€ for it.
When I tried to play guitar using the application with "Amplitube iRig", I could not listen anything as the input says "none". I would like to know how or if anyone knows how to solve this problem.. You can ask anything if you need more details.

The app store size is probably just the software, while the size on your iPhone includes data.
You can determine the size on your iPhone by looking at Settings > General > Usage. -

Lanny here are the startup key sequences on wired keyboards to know for future reference:
SHIFT - safe boot.
command-S single user mode to run fsck
command-R to run a recovery boot.
command-option-P-R to reset the PRAM on Macs younger than 4 years, or whose PRAM battery is younger.
command-option-O-F to boot into open firmware.
D key to boot hardware test on an Intel Mac - for pre-July 20, 2011 Macs, this means having the original installer discs.
Option key - Startup Manager.
Option = Alt key on Windows keyboards.
Command key may be Windows key on Windows keyboards, or cloverleaf or Apple logo key on Apple keyboards.

My son's friend used his ipod and now he is missing certain accessories such as itunes, app store, safari, camera, face time, etc. How do we get these back?
If they were on the iPod before then there are two possibilities:
- They were moved to a screen where you just can't find the. Have you tried using the Spotlight search to find them?
- They are hidden by Restrictions. Go to Settings>General>Restrictions. It is passcode protected, it you do not know the passcode you have to :
- Restore the iPod from a backup that does not contain the Restrictions, or
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod. -
Prevent App Store checking for updates in non-administrator accounts?
Once upon a time, software could only be installed from within an administrator's account. But with Mountain Lion software can be installed from within a "standard" account, as long as you enter the admin's name and password. And software update alerts from the App Store (and other vendors) now show up within standard accounts.
Is there a way to prevent the App Store from checking for software updates when a standard account is active? One of my users is almost totally computer illiterate; the update alerts completely confound her. Also, if the alerts are ignored in a standard account, they do not show up in the administrator's account until several days later -- or at all.

Unfortunately this workaround forces the App Store to check for updates in standard accounts: exactly what I'm trying to prevent. From what I can tell by searching, people seem to like this new behavior. I want it gone.

p.s. sorry for bad englishIf you are not in the US with a US billing address and payment method then you can't buy items from the US store - you need to be in a country to use its store.
Does your credit card work with your own country's store ? For it have a chance of being accepted the credit card then needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and to have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are.
What's the actual error message that you are getting ? -
I cannot turn on automatically download in my settings. I cannot download anything from the app store...once I sign in it says downloading but them goes back like I never signed in what do I do ?

I had a similar issue and it was an easy fix for me. First you need to log out of your account completely in the Mac App Store. Quit the application. Re-open the Mac App Store. Click log-in, enter your Apple-ID and password. Now when the screen pops-up that has all of your billing/credit card information on it DO NOT select done. Instead select View my Account, then select View hidden purchases. There you should be able to find iPhoto. Hope this helps if not let me know. I'm still searching solutions for you.

My Ipad2 has messages in App Store that says I have 22 updates. When I chose to update any of those 22 I receive this message "Cannot Connect to Itunes Store". I am able to make new purchase or free downloads but no updates.
