App Store does not load & kills the internet connection

Hello I'm currently using MBP 13' 2011 v. 10.7.2.
App Store window pops up after opening, but nothing actually shows up. It shows as if it is trying to load the App Store with the spinning indicator, but the app remains empty. Not only it does not load, it also kills whatever internet connection I've attempted on Safari. YouTube videos stop loading once App Store opens, for example.

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

  • Tunes store and/or app store does not load/connect

    any of my 5 Macs running 10.7 through 10.9 just discovered a few days ago not having searched the store in a few months.  Hit the iTunes store in iTunes or App Store and nothing loads just says it's accessing the store then the content frame is blank. Submitting a search term does nothing at all, one Mac tells me my iPod is has finished sync. when I try to get the store through searching,say for a certain title/artist/movie/tv show, etc.I have the latest release of iTunes on all, my network is rock solid. 3 Macs are wired to net,the other 2 use WiFi. I know it worked before I have the protected data to prove it.

    You ran a defective third-party "utility" such as "CleanMyMac" or "MacCleanse" that purports to "clean up" "junk" files. What it really does is to corrupt the operating system and many applications.   
    The first thing you need to do is remove that software according to the developer's instructions. Never install it, or anything like it, again. Then see below.
    If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data, then reinstall the OS.* You don't need to erase the startup volume, and you won't need the backup unless something goes wrong. If the system was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you may need the Apple ID and password you used.
    If you use FileVault 2, then before running the Installer you must launch Disk Utility and select the icon of the FileVault startup volume ("Macintosh HD," unless you gave it a different name.) It will be nested below another icon with the same name. Click the Unlock button in the toolbar and enter your login password when prompted. Then quit Disk Utility to be returned to the main Recovery screen.
    There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
    If you installed the Java runtime distributed by Apple and still need it, you'll have to reinstall it. The same goes for Xcode. All other data will be preserved.
    *The linked support article refers to OS X 10.9 ("Mavericks"), but the procedure is the same for OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later.

    First of all, your Firefox version isn't the latest one (current version is 3.6.3), so a good thing to try would be getting the latest version from [http://www.getfirefox.com/ GetFirefox.com] and install that, replacing your current version 3.5.9. Here I assume that you have another working browser from which you can download the file.
    This may not solve the problem (...but then again, it just might).
    If it makes no difference, we have some excellent guides to help identify and solve the problem.
    [[Error loading web sites]] is the best starting point and links to most of the other problem solving articles - please start out here and see if any of the articles can help you fix it.
    [[Firefox cannot load websites but other programs can]] is one of the more likely problem crunching articles from your description.

    If you are running MacOS X 10.9 and Aperture is installed in your Applications folder and simply called Aperture, not Apertre 3 or something, the AppStore should be showing you the update.
    Have you already updated to Aperture 3.4.5 from the Support page  Aperture 3.4.5?
    Try to update manually to 3.4.5 and then reboot and sign again into the AppStore with your AppleID and look at the Update page.
    For some forum members it helped to set the main system language to English U.S. to make the update finally show.

    Your advice did not help me. I also installed 10.7.4 combo but the situation is the same.
    my internet connection is ok, mail is ok, but app store after 3 resets does not recognize my ID and it says "connection is not possible". Why?     Reset the device:
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    Files cannot be downloaded from Safari on an iPod touch.

    If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
    Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
    Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
    Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update(iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
