App Store Icons Blank pages

just updated OS of my iphone 5 to ios8. I opened App Store then tried opening "Featured, Top Charts, Explore, Search" but all it is showing is a blank page. How to resolve this issue

Tried restarting your Mac yet?
And try deleting the App Store .plist (preferences)
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.plist file to the Trash.
Then try the App Store.

  • App Store showing blank pages in Yosemite

After my update to Yosemite the AppStore behaves severely crippled.
The main "Featured" , "Top Charts", "Updates" and "Purchases" page work normal,
however the "Categories" page only shows the category titles, and worse: going into any detail page for an App gives me a completely blank page.
I already tried to restarted to system, but no change.
When starting AppStore from the iTerm the following error is included on startup (not sure if it's an expected message):

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. Don't use the Safari-only “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac.”
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your documents or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this behavior; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The “Guest User” login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
    Step 2
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Please take this step regardless of the results of Step 1.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or earlier, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of Steps 1 and 2.

  • Garageband 10 in-app purchase. App Store shows blank page.

    Hi,
When I click on Download More Sounds from the GarageBand for Mac (v10.0) menu, I enter my Apple ID password and Accept the purchase. Then the Mac App Store opens and displays a blank page. That's it. There is no download.
Apple issued a resolution for those who are unable to complete in-app purchases http://support.apple.com/kb/TS5275
However, this resolution does not work for me because when I click the Purchase tab on the Mac App Store there is no Accept button next to GarageBand.
Has anyone been able to find a solution to his problem?
    Thank you.

    I had the same problem.
Found out this happens when buying the extra content is the first purchase you do after installing Mavericks.
When you go to the app store, buy any app, and then go back to garageband and try again, it will work.
    It did for me.
(bought an app I wanted anyway)
In my search for a solution I found another post that said it  also works when you buy a song in iTunes, but I'm not sure about that.

  • App store update blank page

I cannot update any app on ios 6.1.2, when i open the appstore and go to updates , it is blank.
I did a complete restore and set up new iphone nothing changed. there is a badge number showing updates are available but the page is BLANK.
Anyone having the same problem or have a solution for that ?

I faced the Same Issue. It is resolved by changing the language at Settings-->General-->International-Language. Change the Current Language ( I have changed it from British English to English). Then after a succesful change, Go to Appstore- Updates. The Issue is resolved. Now go back to your original Setting (if required)

  • When I click on App Store icon, screen goes blank.  Any ideas?

Badge on App Store icon says I have one app to update, so click on the icon, and screen is completely blank white.  Info bar at top is visible, as well as a solid gray bar below that info bar, but white from there to bottom of screen.  No activity at all.  Ideas?  Running IOS6 on an iPhone 4

False alarm.  App store was frozen, but reset phone three times, and on third try, app store opened.
    Thanks

  • I have accidently deleted the App store icon off my home page, how do I get it back, do I need to re down load?

I have accidently deleted the App store icon off my home page, how do I get it back do I nave to re download??

Swipe through your screens and swipe to the left of your Home screen. Type in App Store in the search field. It's a permanent pre installed Apple app so it can't be deleted.
If you can't locate it on the iPad for some reason, connect the device to your computer. Right or control click the iPad under Devices left side of the iTunes window then click: Restore from backup

  • App store icon not working--how can I download app store...tried the process as described on the Mac page...didn't find the update or download.

My app store icon is not working. Went to Mac page of Apple store to find a new download for it and the process didn't work. No new downloads found.
    Any ideas ?

    Hi James...
The only way to reinstall the App Store is by downloadiing and installing the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo
Restart your Mac after the update is installed. It's ok to do this even though you are already running v10.6.8.

  • App Store icon shows three updates, but the screen is blank when I try to update my ipad

App Store icon shows three updates, but the screen is blank when I try to update my ipad

Already covered in a discussion that has over 180 threads to it.  Search before posting please or just simply look down the list of current topics.  It's readily near the top.

  • Since the update, the update page in the app store is blank.

Since the update to iOS6.1.1, the update page in the app store is blank and won't load.
There is the symbol for updates to run, though.

And weeks later, March 2nd, this is still a problem. Why hasn't Apple fixed this yet?

  • Why does App Store icon show updates ready, but no updates show on update tab

My home screen started showing that I had updates on the App Store icon, three days ago. Next day it showed three, then four and now it shows five updates, but when I go to Updates tab, I get just blank screen.

There are a number of threads on this topic, not only for iPad but for iPhone as well. Appears to be an issue on Apple's side (not on our device). Not all users are being effected (I've had no issues whatsoever, for example). Nothing specific to this is reported on the Sytems status page (http://www.apple.com/support/systemstatus/), so the general assumption is that you need to wait it out.
You might try a search to see if there any possible solutions or steps needed to re-establish the link to itunes/app stores. Sometimes after this sort of outage there are some actions that help get you reconnected more quickly. not sure if that is the case with this one.

  • App Store icon for updates needed is incorrect

The App Store icon on my phone shows that I have apps to update.  When I click on the icon to install them, there are no updates to install.  The number of UNneeded apps is always '3'.  For example, the icon will show that I need 3 updates, when I check there are none to install.  If the icon shows 5 updates, when I check there are only 2 to update.  This just started happening shortly after iOS 7 was released; I have not installed it, nor do I plan to install it anytime soon.  What is causing this?  I took a picture showing the icon indicating 3 updates needed and the update page being blank, and I can post it if desired.

I've seen reports of this happening when updates have been issued for apps that make them only work on iOS 7, users of earlier versions of iOS get notified that there are updates pending but when you actually go into the app store updates function it realises they don't apply to you because you are on an earlier version of iOS than what the new versions  require.
In fact I just had a very similar experience on my iPod touch with iOS 6, in App Store app it flagged 7 app updates in red badge but when I clicked on the Updates button it only listed two  apps to update, once they'd been applied the outstanding updates badge disappeared.

  • My App store icon is gone

My app store icon is gone

The App Store is a native iOS app and cannot be deleted. Try searching the phone and seeing if it is on another home page, or within a folder. If you search and find it and it is in a folder, the folder name will appear to the side of the name.
If you still cannot find it that way, then do a reset on the phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons until you see the Apple logo and then release. Still cannot find it? Go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings. Still cannot find it, then go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

  • App store icon on iphone4

I updated my iPhone 4 software to iOS 5 but after updating the app store icon on my phone is gone .how can I get the app store icon back pls help me?

    You cannot delete it.
It is likely on another page, in a folder, or you have restrictions set.
    Try all of these.
If this fails then reset your home screen layout.
All of this is covered in the manual.

  • The apps store icon on my iphone has dissappeared.  how do it get it back on my iphone so i can buy and update apps

the apps store icon on my iphone has dissapperared.  how do i get it back on my iphone so i can buy and update apps on my phone?

The App Store icon can't be deleted.  You either moved it - to another home screen page or inside a folder, or set a restriction so it doesn't show.
    1. Settings > General > Restrictions > (Allow) Installing Apps > ON.
    2. Search all Home Screen pages and inside folders
    3. Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
