App store is in Japanese

I just loaded os6 and now the app store is in Japanese. How do I change it to English?

Try scrolling down to the apple id bar. Click it and sign out then sign back in. This has been know to work.

I moved from Japan to Australia. I need to change from Japan App Store to the Australian App Store. I get the following message every time I try using My MacID which was set up in Japan: "This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the Japanese iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store." At one point... by which path I do not remember... I was instructed to created a new ID. I fill out the new ID forms, but the address is rejected each time... quite confusing. Does it want a new name? But it says I cannot use an apple domain (tag?) even though I guess it has to be an apple address... ? So I have iTunes crdit cards purchansed in Australia, can't spend in AUstralian iTunes Store, get directed back to Japan each time, and can't open a new ID... What am I doing wrong? You must have a separate Apple ID registered in the other store along with a valid bank-issued charge card in the other country, and a legal billing address in the other country.
Sorry... But... You cannot use other countries itunes stores.
You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country..

I have just updated my iphone software to iOS5 and now my app store and itunes on my phone is all in japanese characters!! how do i get it back to english as i dont know how much my apps are and what buttons im pressing?!?

I have the same problem! Let me know if you manage to sort it out. My iPad did the same thing but to full restore from iTunes sorted that out. Have you tried that? No such luck with my iPhone.

My app store and itunes store are stuck in Japanese store. I already moved to the Philippines for about a year ago and my stores still won't change its location.
I already changed the region/country in my apple id. I tried to sign out and sign in back to my account. Tried it in app store, in itunes store, in settings app, in itunes in my laptop, in the apple website. It shows that my apple id is already set to Philippines, no matter where I sign in my account.
The problem is when I open my app store (or itunes store) in my iphone, it appears that it is in the Philippines store; however, when I sign in my account (and I tried to sign in everywhere), I cannot download any app from the Philippine store. When I try to download an app, it always says "Account not in this store. Your account is not valid for use in the Japanese store. You must switch to the Philippines store before purchasing." I have read everywhere and most of the answers say that it should automatically direct me to the correct store. It doesn't happen to me, apparently.
I have the same problem in both my iPhones. Both are iPhone 3GS and in version 5.1.1. I don't want to upgrade to iOS6 so please don't tell me to do so. Thanks!

My Iphone stucked at japanese app store

Two month ago, I changed my app store to Japanese because I was going to stay in Japan for a while. I updated a new version of IOS when I was staying there.
Now, I move back and can't change my app store to an original one. It keeps saying that " This Apple Id is only valid for purchases in the japanese itunes store. You will switch to that store". I tried everyway, signing in and out, but there is no change. Please help me. Now, I'm desperate at it

Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region...you change here.
However, you must have a verified billing address located in the country whose store you want to use. Thus, if your Apple ID only shows a verified billing address in Japan, you won't be able to change stores until you update/change your billing address.

There were apple updates with IOS7.1. After the updates, the Apps store and the iTunes updated in japanese instead of English. I have tried apple support and went through the steps one by one to change to English and it did not work. Help!

Is there anyone that has a problem with changing the Apps and iTunes language back to English after the IOS 7.1 updates on their iPhone? Ihave contacted Apple support and followed the step by step instructions and it did not change it to English. The original language is English. I reset all settings and turned the phone off and it still did not change the language in the software eventhough the settings for language is set in English. When I went on line support.apple.com, in the iTunes section it states that the software iTunes 11.1.7, I think changes the language in the Apps whenever there are updates in the IOS 7.1. Content bought using one Apple ID cannot be merged or transferred to another Apple ID.
All you need to do is delete those apps belonging to your wife.
Check Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID: > your own Apple ID here. If not, sign out here and sign in yours.

I live in Japan but I would like to use my US credit card to make purchases in the US Store.
I had no problems with this previously, but I recently informed my US bank of my Japanese address and changed it (had to).
There is no way to input my Japanese address (so that it matches the bank information) in the fields for the US App Store (which has no foreign country fields, you are limited to having to fill in the US state field, flags me for phone number area code differences, etc.).
When I hit the change country button: A) It took me to the Japanese App Store; B) I could not use my US credit card there (despite my Japanese address).
Yes, I may want to make purchases in the Japanese App Store in the future (I am bilingual), but the selections are different depending on the country.
Now I can make purchases in neither country.
I want to make purchases in the US Store from Japan.
Help! I feel like I am getting punished for being global. (The world should be getting smaller, more interconnected, and more convenient with the Internet --- not the opposite!)

Well, I can certainly understand the licensing argument if I were using a Japanese credit card with a Japanse address and making a purchase with Japanese yen from the US Store from Japan.
When I am making a purchase with US card from the US store with US dollars, the argument becomes a bit suspect (I know it is Apple's, not your argument).
it is just kind of a paradoxical situation and I am hoping Apple will offer some sort of solution. We can always hoe, right?

App Store Germnay - when will we get usefull apps here?

Thanks to Apple I can only use the german App Store. So I wonder who at Apple checks the Apps we get here...
I have no need for Hongkong Weather, Dallas Radar Cameras, Apps in Japanese.
On the other hand not only I would love to have usefull Apps like Loopt, eBay, PayPal and others - only available in the US Store.
I wonder if Apple will start offering usefull apps over herer too soon - maybe tells us german app store users a bit more when they will come.
Or Apple only gives me the possibility to get me an unofficial US Store Account, but normaly I'm not the one using hacks, but if Apple pushes me to do so ...

I was updating an app and changed to the Japanese App Store somehow... now I can not get it back to the American App Store... The Japanese store is giving me a notification saying I don't have an account at their App Store and must change back to the American Store... HOW DO I DO THIS????

Finding App URL on international App store (that you can't access)

I need to find the app store URL for a published app that is available in a different App store (I am in the UK, and am trying to find the URL for the app in, say, the Japanese app store, or the American one). I obviously can't get access to these as they are only available locally.
Any pointers?

Thanks – the app is slightly different though: there are a few different versions (different languages or content depending on region).

Can't change countries in App Store

I changed my Apple ID from United States to Canada and now I have purchases in both countries. However I can't find a way to switch between the different countries' stores. The FAQ and some forum posts I've seen refer to a flag that is supposed to be in the lower right of the App Store that you can click on to change the country of the store, but it doesn't seem to be there.

Now I struggled for two days stuck in the Japanese store and couldn't returns to my own country "Canada" until just now there is no red flag or LIL flag to click on not in Japan anyway before I go on and on like I do when I feel like being a smart ***.... LOL!!!
PLAIN AND SIMLY SIGN OUT... Sign back in!!! This will allow things to reset!!! The right screens will pop up and tell you what to do!!!
TRUST ME I TRY'D EVERYTHING SINCE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON NOTHING AND I MEAN NOTHING WORKED MY NEXT STEP WAS TO EITHER THROW THE PHONE .... AND SMASH IT .... DuM DuM DuM !!!! Or reset it to the factory SETIngs

"App store not supported in this country" Error message on ipad app store?

I have a 64Gb wifi ipad and live in Bangladesh.
When i touch the app store icon i get the above error message? But itunes on the ipad works fine?
However the app store icon on my phone 3GS works fine.
I have also tried disabling the location services tab in settings and still get the same message when i try to open the app store. However, itunes works fine.
I also tried a vpn connection back to the UK and i tunes works fine, but the app store still gives the same error message?
Any thoughts?

I'm a US Citizen but I spent a significant amount of time working in Japan; therefore, I maintain a residence there. As a result I have both US and Japanese iTunes accounts. Switching back and forth between accounts on my iPhone works with no problem on my iPhone 3GS.
Yesterday, I purchased a 64GB iPad 3G and logged into my Japanese iTunes account on the iPad, but when I go to the App Store, I get the message you posted about. At the very least, I should be able to download iPhone Apps from the Japanese store like I do on my iPhone.
It is ridiculous that I can download Japanese iPhone apps in iTunes and sync them to my iPad but I can't download them from the store on my iPad. Come on Apple, fix this nonsense!
