App Store is showing a count for updates but not displaying any apps that need to be updated

The App Store icon is displaying a count for apps to blue updated, when I open the app and click on Updates nothing is being displayed.  I've tried a hard reboot and have tried to sync and it has still not corrected itself.

It's a long running glitch, as the hundreds of threads on this topic demonstrate.
You can wait it out and wait for Apple to fix the servers or you can go into your purchased tab and manually download each update (you'll find the app icons with little update banners on them.
Alternatively, if you sync with a computer, you can use the iTunes on your computer to download the updates then sync them onto your device.

  • Store credit shows up on one computer, but not another

    Happy Easter everyone,
    I was wondering why my store credit shows up on one authorized computer, but not another? Is there a way to fix this? Or will I just have to make my purchases on that computer?

    An account's balance should show wherever you use the account (computer's iTunes, and in the App Store, iTunes store and iBookstore on iOS devices). Have you tried logging out and back into the account on the computer that it's not showing : Store > Sign Out menu option, that will then change to a Store > Sign In option (my balance has sometimes been slow to update on my computers/devices)

    I need some help about a little strange thing that is happening..
    My app yesterday night changed into "Ready for Sale": I know it takes about 24 hours to be displayed in iTunes, the App instead was displayed only a few hours later but not everywhere, I mean if I google the App name I find it, but if I search it in the iPad Apple Store (either with its name or with one of the keywords I assigned it) I can't find it. If I search my "developer page" on iTunes I can't see it, but if I search it by following the link "developer page" by the page of my others app it is there any....
    In short: sometimes I found it, sometimes not, either in iTunes or in the Apple Store on my iPad..
    What's up????

    Is it iPhone-only, iPad-only or Universal?
    Give it several hours so that the info can migrate across all servers in the background.

    After reviewing your post, the iPod is not recognized in iTunes. A frustrating situation to be sure. You haven't mentioned what OS the computer you are using uses. You can choose what article to use either OS X or Windows from this quoted section.

    This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

  • Defining field for T021S but not displaying in automated structure

    I have define two fields throgh IMG>Finacial accounting>a/c rec. and payable>line item>display line item-->define additonal field
    After defining its showing 2 field entries into <b>T021S</b> table and also added two fields into automated generated Structure <b>FAGLPOSYEXT</b> .After moving transport request for these 2 fields for FAGLPOSYEXTinto Quality client ,its not showing thease 2 fields into quality for <b>FAGLPOSYEXT</b>.Infact both field entries showing correctly in Development client as well as quality client for table <b>T021S</b>.

    Hi,
    Follow the steps.
    1. Delete Setup tables in LBWG.
    2. Clear Q in SMQ1/LBWQ.
    3. Delete Q in RSA7.
    Then fine the ECC correct client for Customizing and there you can do the changes and activate it. If still it is not allowing and you want to add fields by using enhancements then goto SE11, and give MCCOMP and Append Structure and add fiels and write code in CMOD.

    I have a similar problem and have had this before.
    I rang Apple the first time and they said because I had 2 Apple ID's this can happen so I cancelled one Apple ID (which is another problem and drama in itself) and that resolved the issue.
    I now have the problem again with only one Apple ID so I've transferring purchases from my iPhone and iPad to iTunes. Then I synced again and hoped for the best. Unlucky! Didn't work. Time to call Apple support again...

    Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it!   It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

    Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
    This works for some users. Not sure why.
    Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

    There's been a problem with this all day.  Seems to be a server problem  -  wait a day and try again, or use itunes on the computer to update, that works.

    There have been numerous reports on the forum today regarding this issue. It seems to be an issue at Apple, but no information has been posted on the status site.

    iTunes purchases cannot be transferred between accounts. If you no longer wish to use the old account at all, you should delete those apps and repurchase them with the new account.
