App store / iTunes account conflict

Hi,
Here's my problem: Whenever I try to download or upgrade an App, my iPhone asks me my password to my old account, let's name it A. Once I log in to that old account, it says that "There is a billing problem with a previous purchase, tap continue and sign in to view billing information", and then it asks me to log in to my B account that I've been using without any problem for months now (I guess until around the time i upgraded to iPhone OS 3.0). Once I log into B, I check that all the billing info is correct, I confirm, the window shuts down. I retry downloading/upgrading an App, doesn't work, same message.
Downloading music works perfectly on both my Mac and iPhone, and upgrading / downloading Apps on my Mac works fine, since for all the former it asks me to log into my B (active) account.
Last, the account setting for my App store is B as it should be.
ANY CLUE????

    I had the same thing happen. I synced on my girlfriend's laptop, and when I logged into the App Store on my iPhone it prompted for her password (her Apple ID was prefilled). I plugged it back into her laptop, opened the iTunes store, and logged out of her account, then hit Sync on my iPhone. Resolved (but annoying).

    Like the title states, I just got an iPhone 4 today.
    For some reason, my apps don't transfer to my computer when I sync, so I have to re-download everything. No big deal.
    One problem, I have to verify my itunes account. It keeps saying my request to verify didn't work any whatnot. I can't use itunes or the app store, period! Any suggestions?
    (It wants me to verify my credit card info, which is all correct.)

    I understand that after the guy that wanted to promote his books hacked into some itunes accounts they started asking people to verify repeatedly for security reasons. They are trying to step up their security. It does it when I access from my phone but not when I sync up through my computer anymore.

    You can sync them under apps on iTunes if they are in your iTunes library.
    you can go into the App store on the device, tap on "updates" and then "purchases" download the apps you want.

  • Can I force App Store/iTunes to require CCV prior to purchasing?

    As I have my credit card details saved in my Apple account, I'm worried that someone who has access to my iTunes or my iPhone will be able to make purchases using my credit card if I was recently logged in. Is it therefore possible to force Apple's App Store, iTunes Store AND Online Store to require credit card verification prior to permitting payment or should I just remove my credit card details?

    I don't even have a App Store icon on the phone.  Is there a setting that is screwed up?
    First swipe to the Spotlight search facility on your iPhone and type App Store. Does the App store show in the list?
    If not, have Restrictions been activated on your phone (Settings/General/Restrictions) and installing apps restricted/turned off?

    The designer is usually someone who just handles the user interface portion of the code. The developer would handle core functionality. I assumed you were the developer and the designer was the designer. You are the client and your "designer" is the developer.
    Ideally, you should create a business account so that you can add someone to your team. That is the way it is supposed to work. Otherwise, you will have to ask for the final source code so that you can build and submit the app yourself. You should always have the source code regardless. You should always perform the submission under your own account too. Otherwise, it is the developer's app, not yours.
    Sharing accounts is against the Apple Developer agreement anyway. The App Store Gold Rush is over. Now it is mostly zombie apps and competing fraudsters. You don't want to give someone access to your iTunes account. You really don't want to give someone access to your bank account either.
    The best solution would be to convert your account to a business account. You may be able to have the developer submit the app and then transfer it to you.

    The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
    it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...

    Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go.          Whenever i try to open the App Store/iTunes store on the iphone, i get the error  "the item you've requested is not currently available in the indian store".
    This happens whenever there is link for an App that i want to download and it happens for each and every app which is easily available on iTunes from PC. I dnt know what the problem is because of my friends who has an iPhone is able to access it, so its even more weird.The only difference is that she has an legally unlocked iPhone and i have the "other one". Please help...because it is very frustrating to everytime go on to the PC to download an App.

    Close your iTunes,
    Go to command Prompt -
    (Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
    (Win XP SP2 & above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
    In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
    netsh winsock reset
    Hit "ENTER" key
    Restart your computer.
    If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
    Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
    If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

  • Can't connect to the App store, iTunes and software update with MBP 13

    Hi,
    I have a MBP 13 from 2011 and I have a really annoying problem with connecting it to the App Store, iTunes and the software update. It claims that I have no internet/wifi/network, although I clearly have it since I am watching series through Netflix and are on Facebook at the same time. So naturally I started to look in to the firewall and it works fine, since it does not and has never blocked any other Apple products/programs. So I continued looking everywhere in the computer, found nothing. And finally I decided to re-install the MBP and I still cannot connect to neither of these programs.
    I feel that it is really unnecessary to hand the MBP in for service for a problem like this, so I was wondering if there is someone out there who has a solution to this problem? Beacue , as I mentioned earlier, my internet/wifi is working perfectly with everything else, so I really do not understand why App Store, iTunes and the software update does not work.

    First, try a system reset.  It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
    Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo.  Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears.  You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
    If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore.  Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset.  Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync.  From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab.  Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup.  You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.  Again, say "yes."

    IT tells me they would have to revert to the old OS which they don't want to do or can't do? I have been two months without access. I am at a loss. any help or guidance would be appreciated.     I know safari is mac's native browser. Since updating to OSX10.9, I have not been able to open safari. Firefox works fine but I preferred safari. Safari just won't open, it acts like it wants to, but the progress bar goes about half way across and stops. What other information do I need to supply?
    This is a very frustrating problem when I see that there are updates to apply, but am unable to open the app store to get them. I can't even see them.
    IT, in my opinion, has almost thrown in the towel since they are more PC-based.I believe it is a connection problem but they have been unable to fix it. They blame mac for a hasty upgrade release that was not fully tested to see if there were any Mac/PC connection issues.

    Tried turning off/on and hard resetting - didn't work.
    Spotlight search didn't find them either.
    Had about 5 pages of apps - now only have 2 so they're not on another page.
    The settings app is missing too so can't reset through settings.
    They were all there last night but my ipad is almost empty when I picked it up tonight.
