App store language ignores what is selected in System Preferences

The app store doesn't appear to honor the language I have set in System Preferences (english). I live in France (but am a native English speaker) and because I only have a French credit card, I must use a French itunes account, which automatically displays everything in French. Why is there no way to choose English as the language while using a foreign store?
It's not a huge deal (more of an annoyance), but I imagine in countries where there is more than one accepted language, this could be very difficult for some. It also makes no sense, because there is a well-defined language/locale setting in OSX that all other applications I have used correctly honor, except the App Store and the Apple Music store. Is there any way to change that? Also, if I download an expensive app, will I only get the French version of it?

I live in Italy, but I want the language for all applications to be in English.
The OS is easily configurable in English, but I could not find a way to force App Store and iTunes in English in all their components.
Note that AppStore and Itunes menus and help are presented in English, all else inside is in Italian.
I fear that, when travelling, content will change according to the country you are in.
Google has the same behaviour (presenting you the initial page in the local language), but there is a preference to set always English as the default language.
If someone knows how to configure iTunes and App Store to use English for all its text, I'll be delighted to know.

You can only purchase apps form the App store in which you are currently locate. Since you are in Spain unless there is an option in the Store App you can't change it.

The recommended solution for most families is to share the same Apple ID for iTunes and App Store purchases, so you can share your purchases, but us different IDs for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud. With this arrangement, each person can automatically download purchases made on the shared ID (by turning this feature on in Settings>iTunes & App Stores), while keeping their FaceTime calls, text messages and iCloud data (including photo stream) separated. There is no requirement that the ID you use for purchasing be the same as the ID you use for these other services.

If you have redeemed the voucher for something separate from the computer, then it's a non-issue. If you redeemed it as a price reduction for the computer, then they will return only what you paid less the coupon.

App Store crashes when purchases is selected.

After installing iOS 6 to my iPhone 4S the App Store crashes every time I select the purchased button in the updates tab. Has anyone else had this issue and know if apple is working on a fix?
Also on a side note the other day I couldn't move any app icons, when I tried the GUI would reboot. Fixed it be manually moving the app in itunes.

I just got a iTouch 5G and same issue. Fresh out of the box, and not able to access purchased app on store. Sadle Apple doesn't offer any other way to access previously purchased apps other than on the iOS device. This seems to have been an issue for people since iOS6 was released and still hasn't been fixed. I've tried everything from restart, restore, change date, kill app store, register, authorize. Nothing is working.

it's not possible to delete build in apps from ios devices
unless one somehow alter the firmware in a jailbraking way
so 1 out of 3 things are likely
1 you put it in some folder and it's still hiding there
2 you remove it by adding it to restrictions in settings->general->restrictions
3 something is rotten in the stake of the Ios firmware memorymap and doing a reboot of the ios device will solve it

Here is solution
Step 1: Go to Settings.
Step 2: Tab Store.
Step 3: Tab your Apple ID and then Sign Out.
Step 4: Now Sign In and choose Create New Apple ID (you won't complete this, don't worry).
Step 5: You'll be asked to choose your store (country/region), choose the country which has the language you want the AppStore to be in.
Step 6: Click Next and then Agree.
Step 7: Fill in the information until you're asked to insert your credit card info.
Step 8: When you reach the credit card info, click Cancel and exit the Create New Apple ID section.
Step 9: Go back to Settings and sign in with your actual Apple ID.
Step 10: Open the AppStore.

Sounds like a corrupted file in system software. Boot into Recovery Mode and run Disk Utility. Most likely it will find a problem and be able to correct it. Read about Recovery mode here:

You may need to reinstall OS X as part of this. I hope you have a Time Machine backup?
