App Store making me repurchase
My 8GB iPhone 4 broke. My replacement came in yesterday. After I activated it. I signed in with the only Apple ID I have. I went to open the App Store and attempted to re-download my previously purchased apps. I went to Updates->Purchased and started re-downloading. Each app had the ICloud Icon for the record. After starting the downloads they all started to cancel. I went and re tried. Then It started to say there was a problem with my billing info. The card I am using is valid and has a tiny bit of money on it. How can I cancel these purchases or just not have to pay for them and get the ability to re-download my apps?

- I have only one AppleID (Mac/iphone/ipad) and I am using that.
- I can actually see all my purchases in the purchased page, but unfortunately the app store (Top Charts/Search) is not recognising the apps that I have purchased (but not installed). I did not have that issue before (yesterday).
- The Hide Purchased information can be found in the Purchased tab (by right clicking on the app), and is an 'per app' option. The account doesnt have such an option, at least not mine.

This is your husband's app, only your husband can update it. Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID that purchased them. No other Apple ID can update someone else's app.

It's a simple question but I cannot find an answer. I just know you can't. It makes no sense to not allow us to even purchase an update at a lower cost as opposed to repurchasing the app from the app store at the full cost. Can anyone say why this is the case? It makes me not want to ever use the app store.
I get that, but that's not the point. What I am saying is that the customer experience is poor. It should work the same as it used to when you bought software from a brick and mortar store.
When you buy an app (software) from a sellers website, you should be able to purchase an upgrade from any vendor. This means even though I bought an app like OmniPlan direct from the OmniGroup... It would be nice to purchase the upgrade, or even download the update from Apple's Mac App Store.
It just makes for a better customer experience. -
I lost all my data when upgrading my iPad to iOs5. App Store doesn't recognize that I already purchased pages. What can I do other than repurchasing?
It shows "You do not have any purchased apps available to download" Can I show apple the credit card receipts for apps purchased from them? How would I find any previous account login info?

Repurchase updates from the Mac App Store
Due to some technical problems, I had to repurchase a Mac. When I launched the Mac App Store, I wanted to redownload Pages, but it tells me that I have insufficient credit and that I need to indicate a credit card. However, I had previously updated Pages through the Mac App Store. Does anybody have an idea?

Not enough info. What do you mean repurchase a Mac? You bought a different Mac?
As long as you are signed into the Mac AppStore with the Apple ID that originally purchased Pages, then it should be listed on the Purchased pane of the MAS and available for download. -
Why doesn't the App store recognise that I already have Facetime installed and want me to repurchase it? I also canot upgrade from V3 to V 1.02?
For some reason the Apple servers are having an issue retaining the bank card's CVV code (three digit security code) in the payment method area. Every time I run into an issue, whether in the iTunes Store or the Mac App Store, when I check my account info the CVV code has been missing every time!
Try resolving the problem from iTunes, you have more access to your account details in iTunes. Sometimes it seems that when there is a problem with incorrect or incomplete information regarding your method of payment the Mac App Store's warnings get confusing.
Open iTunes, enter the iTunes Store, then log in and review your account information. Make sure that the billing address is correct and that if needed, the CVV code, the three digit security code from your bank card, is correct. On your way out reset the notifications. -
Whenever I open the App Store there is a white box covering the center of the screen making the store screen unusable. How do I fix it?

Why is the App Store telling me to repurchase apps?
So, I recently got an iPad 2, and I was wanting to download some universal apps I had bought for my iPhone (GTA 3 and GarageBand, for example), but the app store is telling me that I need to buy the apps, again. My iPad is associated with the same Apple ID, so I have no idea why this is happening. Does anyone have any suggestions?

App store asks me to repurchase previously (all) purchased apps

It seems that all my purchases have been lost, as I am trying to download/add apps/games that I have previously purchased and the system shows that I have to rebuy them. Does this means that I lost thousands of pounds (Mac,iphone and ipad) of previously bought applications? Is there a simple explanation for this? Does anyone else has the same problem?
I tried to rectify the issue by doing several things like: I waited for the store to refresh, I even rebooted the system, checked my other apple systems that are connected to Apple store etc, but I get the same issue. Should I wait a little bit longer to see if it is a Apples system error, or should I call them?

When i want to create a account in App store on my Iphone 3g S ( 4.1 version ) i get to the part about payment . I cannot select the option " none" because there isn't such a option available only Visa,Mastercard and Amex. Can somone please help me since i don't own a credit card ? By the way,my app store language is croatian so is that maybe the reason ?

Video converters from app store and online making my brand new iMac crash continuously, why?
I have downloaded various video converters from the app store and online and it seems that no matter which one I use they all make my brand new iMac (I've had it less than 2 weeks) crash. I've wiped the disk once and reinstalled mountain lion twice as directed when I rang apple and I'm still encountering the same problem.
I would really like to find a way to fix this problem without having my mac sent away for repairs.
