After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, reinstall the Combo Update for the type of computer and the version of Mac OS X you’re using, unless this is the version of Mac OS X that came with your computer:

Basically, you should verify/repair the startup disk before installing the update, no applications should be running while installing it, and you may experience unexpected results if you have third-party system software modifications (not normal applications) installed.

puis sur une photo.
Rien ne s'ouvre.
J'utilise ce CS5 depuis pas mal de temps, et ce phénomène est arrive ce jour.
Aussi, j'utilise Bridge depuis hier.

That is an indication that iPhoto has broken the link/file path to the orignal photo. So make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:

Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.

Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

I can't update/downloads an app from app store by using by iphone 4s. The icon will change to blank keep waiting, this problem was trouble me for 1 week. pls help me.I try all the method (reset/change date setting)no help my network is ok.

Copy and paste this little script in your terminal:

A return of "i am local" ensures there is no remote connection to your machine (through SSH).
In the future, to avoid remote entry, I would recommend not posting your IP address though.

To fix your Facebook app:
Go to "Settings"
Select "General"
Go to "Usage"
Find "Facebook" in the list of apps installed
Swipe across "Facebook"
Press "Delete"
Reinstall "Facebook"

New to APP Store--Why is there a "2" on the Icon in the Dock?

Open the App Store (click the icon in the dock). At the top right, you'll see an icon that is a circle with a down-pointing arrow. It is labeled "Updates". Click there to see what the App Store is suggesting you update.

Wondering if i upgraded to the latest osx would it effect my logic? i would be doing both via app store purchases and wanted to be 100% sure everything runs smooth before i do upgrade

I would wait until the next incremental update (10.8.3) to be released and see the results before upgrading.
There are some problems still, besides the lag that affects some, the latest OS is less efficient than previous versions. If Logic is important and you have a system that working well, why upgrade unless there's something that's a must have.

How do I restore an app that is no longer available in the app store

I did a couple of really stupid things like trying to install ios8 without doing a complete backup anywhere (really stupid I know) and relying on one program to keep my passwords in without backing it up somewhere. The whole upgrade to ios8 through iTunes went badly and I had to do a restore. I was able to retrieve pics and such from my pc but that's it. I've gone to the App Store and downloaded some of the apps I'd purchased over the years, but the password program I used wasn't there. The other apps I downloaded restored things like webpages I had been looking at before the restore as well as progress in games, so it must be able to retrieve some info from the iPads memory. It's the loss of that password program that's really driving me nuts as I didn't have the info elsewhere. I bought it a few years back but it's not in the App Store anymore. It was called Safe, the icon was gray with a dial like the front of a safe. I'm hoping that there is some way of restoring this app and, like the other apps I've downloaded again, the information will still be there.
has anyone had any experience with this or that could point me in the right direction? It really isn't backed up elsewhere on my pic or the iCloud.

If the app is no longer in the store then you won't be able to redownload it, and if you haven't got a copy of it anywhere (you don't have another iOS device which has it on ?), and if you haven't got a backup of the iPad on your computer's iTunes (if you haven't got a backup then you won't have the app's content), then you won't be able to get it and your passwords back.

App store blank after restarting Mac during 'Critical Security Update' for 10.9.2

Hi - this is definitely a self inflicted problem however it took me by suprise, and I wasn't sure if it was an official Apple update or some kind of new virus... I was browsing Safari when the notification came up 'Critical security update' which was weird to me as it didn't look like a standard notification, so I clicked 'later' (or equivalent) but my entire screen faded out to grey and it started updating anyway. So naturally I panicked and force shut down my computer, mainly because it was unlike any update I had encountered. After scouting around online I decided to turn it on again, and everything seems to be working, however my app store is totally blank apart from the main icons (featured, purchases, icons, etc). I now can't update it at all let alone download any new apps. I'd really appreciate any help!

If your computer was shut down during an update, I recommend first starting up into Safe Mode:

Safe Mode is a way to start up your Mac that performs certain checks and prevents certain software from automatically loading or opening.
To start up into Safe Mode (to Safe Boot), follow these steps.
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key.
The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple logo and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
After the logo appears, you should see a progress bar during startup. This indicates that your computer is performing a directory check as part of Safe Mode.
To leave Safe Mode, restart your computer without holding any keys during startup.

When I press the app store app on my ipad, one of my previous purchases appears in the middle of the page. I can't remove it so I can purchase more apps. What do I need to do?

Is there an "X" in the top left (or top right) corner of the previous purchase display? If so, click it.
If not, try stopping the App Store App by double clicking the home button, find the App Store in the resulting display, and swipe the icon above the App Store icon toward the top of the screen. Then click the home button to end that display and enter the App Store again.

I have somehow accidentally removed the mac app store from my computer. How do I get it back?

One day, I looked at my mac app store to see a question mark on the icon. I am not sure how it was deleted but it seems that it has been. I checked the applications folder, I searched for "app store" and "mac app store" and it seems to have vanished from my computer.

App Store does not show download status.

in need a bit of help.. apparently, the App store on my macbook pro does not sure any download status for the apps i download. However, i do see a growing bar on my dock for the app i am downloading.
Is there any way i can get it to show?

If you are currently downloading any app and you just lost the status bar from the launchpad which shows apps on your mac with a large overlaying icon app, just try to download any free app (games or utility etc) from the app store and install it, it will bring you back to the window of the launchpad where you can see the status of your downloads....you will notice that I was downloading the Mavericks OS but the download status wont show up on the app store..you will see the status instead on the launchpad, I am using Lion 10.7.5 so I do not have the launchpad icon on my DOCK, maybe I am also just missing the shortcut to launch it. I just discovered that when you install another app from the app store it will bring you this window back, by clicking on the currently downloading app, it will pause the download and will proceed with the other app to finish its process....
I hope this would help.....by the way, with my macbook pro 10.8.5, download status is present on the app store when I was downloading the Mavericks a while ago....

I have full signal power, but says cannot connect to App Store. I had put all of my icons in different folders to organize but took App Store out as troubleshoot.

Are you trying to connect via wifi?
Look at iOS Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398
Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

App Store Purchases Pane Won't Display

Clicking the 'Purchases' icon in the App Store application does nothing. Also the 'Updates' icon does nothing now and earlier today when it did display something, clicking 'install' or 'update' on a purchase did nothing.

I believe the store is overloaded, and will cler itself when people calm down loding OSX Lion.
Try a different time of day, don't forget usa is in the afternoon evening and they will be hammering Lion downloads about now after a hard day at work...
