App store payment method from ipad2
When i try to pay for an app on the app store it tells the payment does not match my banks records. It might be due to the fact that my ipad is bought in the US and my cards italian. The form it uses has US INFORMATION TO BE FILLED. This may be the cause (but then how do i change that form?)or otherwise is smtg else i don't know.
Could you help?

Scroll to the bottom of the App Store and change countries. You must use the Italian App Store to purchase apps in Italy, as well as, have an Italian bank card with a billing address for the account in Italy.

Thank youOn your computer's iTunes you should be able to edit your payment info by going into the Store > View Account menu option and logging into your account, and on your account's details page there should be a payment link. If you are doing it on an iOS device (iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch) then you could try tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Store on iOS 6+) and selecting 'View Apple ID' on the popup - that should also give you a payments link on your account's page.

I had the original pre and the plus and now would like the pre2. However i had the same problem with both of those phones and do not want to purchase the pre2 if it is still an issue.
The problem was not being able to buy apps due to not having a credit card. Are there any alternative methods of payment now or is it still meastro or visa credit cards? I have a visa debit which did not work last time round.
Any advice on this would be great

Post relates to: Pre 2 p102ueu (Unlocked EU)I agree its been an ongoing problem for a while. Its so much easier on apple. However i have faith in Palm/HP im hoping with the new stuff coming out we will see a better system for apps etc...
Also i dont think you can beat webos, its a great operating system. I went back to iphone after my pre plus and found it very restrictive even with there multitasking efforts in iOS. Back to palm now though -
App store icon dissappeared from screen on ipad2, also cannot download or manage my apps in itunes when connected to my desktop. Need help!!
For the App Store icon check Settings>General>Restrictions. You may have restricted the installing of apps and the icon will disappear.
If that's not it, swipe from screen to screen as you may have moved the icon.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.
More information is needed about the apps not syncing or downloading. Are you signed into the same ID on the iPad as your are using in iTunes on your computer and are you talking about iTunes on the computer being the problem? -
I have 2 App Store accounts, one from MobileMe time and i want to know if it is possible to merge them as i'm having troubles updating some of my software?
I have to sign in and out between one and the other constantly and i dont know what to do anymore becouse now i can't update software on either, it keeps on poping up "To update this application, sign in to the account you used to purchase it." and im pretty sure im on the right account.Sorry. On your iPad you can tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account - that should give you a payments link on your account's page. I can't log in the App store because am from Zambia which is not listed in Apple outlets. How do i go around this as apple products are used globally and not only in the listed countries. My product is a Mac book pro. i feel this limits how i can use my product
Unfortunately you have taken an Apple product outside of the area where Apple currently does business. There isn't legally a way around this. Apple cannot license apps to you where you currently live.

It can't be deleted. Only restricted. Check in Settings > General > Restrictions, make sure Installing Apps did not get turned off.

Apps store application disappeared from iPhone
Hi, I've lost App store application in my iPhone after it was upgraded iOS 4.1. In addition, apps sync is not allowed in iTunes, I mean can not be checked. How can I the app store application and from where? Which software might cause the failure: iOS or iTunes? Should I make a back up from iTunes? Can be repair the sync function?
I have an iPad also, but I don't dare to sync it now.

It worked! You pointed out exactly the solving of my problem. I forgot that I set some restrictions.
Since I disable to apps download function, it caused that the Apps store icon vanished from the screen.
After I had enabled this function again, the icon appeared on the screen.

App store has dissappeared from my dock
Mac app store has disappeared from my dock. It's still in Launchpad. I can't figure out how to reinstall it. Running lion 10.7.1. downloaded it again 10.7.1 again, but it didn't help.
Any suggestions?The Mac App Store app is located in the Applications folder. Open a Finder window and browse to the Applications folder and then drag & drop the MAS icon anywhere you choose on the Dock.

We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
The payment methods that are available in your country will show on your account. If debit cards aren't available on that screen then you won't be able to use it as your payment method. -

You could look for an ad blocking app, I use weblock but I'm sure there are others that you may like to explore. -
