App store purchase tab crash/not loading in iOS 6

Hi,
Since I updated to iOS 6 using my iPhone 4S the purchase feature on the updates tab in the App Store does not load or even let the App Store app crash and jump back to the home screen.
This occurs as well on wifi as well on 3G.
Anyone else encounter this issue?
Ps: I restored my phone on iOS 5 and reinstalled all apps from scratch one day before updating to iOS 6. So basically my iPhone was setup as new iPhone just before updating.

I found that on my other account that has way less purchases the purchased tab does open on the exact same device.
It all seem to have something to do with how many items you bought.
Looks like you get punished for having bought too much :P
Hope they fix it soon. The release of iTunes 11 was a small hope since the AppStore was updated there also. But nothing. I keep hoping, so far the comment in the iOS 5 keynote "We cut the wire you no longer need a PC" is not really doing it for me right now :D

  • App Store Purchases Tab not Loading

I need to re-download a program, but the purchases tab in the app store isn't loading. I'm not even getting the spinning wheel on the left when I click on the tab. The only time it loads if I'm not logged in - and then it just says I have to login to view my purchases. I've tried logging out and logging in, restarting.

I believe the store is overloaded, and will clear itself when people calm down loding OSX Lion.
Try a different time of day, don't forget usa is in the afternoon evening and they will be hammering Lion downloads about now after a hard day at work...

  • Ipad mini, app store purchased tab not loading

app store will not load my purchased item tab. have tried on 3 different apple devices.

It isn't 10.7.  I purchased Lion last night and downloaded it on my MB Pro.  Now when I go into the App Store on my iMac, I can't get to my purchases to load it on that machine. It is still running 10.6.8.  Think it may be something wrong with the App Store servers and they aren't updating.

  • App Store purchased items will not open

I can not access my purchased items through the Apps Store. I go to Updates and click on Purchased and it looks like its loading and then it just goes blank and takes me out of the Apps Store completely. Can any help me or tell me why this is happening?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • App Store - Purchases Tab shows Mavericks - yet already downloaded?

    Hi there
App Store - In the "Purchases" tab I have an option to "download" OS X Maverick. Yet I have already downloaded it and now up and running. Any reason whey it is there?
    Many thanks
    A.

I have this same situation, and a question: if Mavericks shows "Download" so that I can download it again if I need it, why do the other apps show "Installed?" Shouldn't they also show "Download," just in case I need to download them again?
Why is Mavericks handled differently in this regard than the other apps?

  • Purchased items will not load since iOS 6

Both iPhone 5 & iPad 3 on iOS 6 will not load purchased items tab in the App Store app.

Yup, did that also signed out & back in multiple tones on both devices.
Have reset network settings, have hard reset devices,
Have restored device both from icloud and once from Mac as NEW as well
    As restore.
I can't see how this can be a device issue as both iPad & iPhone became unable to load
Purchases as soon as iOS 6 came into the picture.
Feels like its an iOS 6 issue or an apple I'd issue,
But since others are having it as we'll it must be iOS 6.

  • TS1702 I purchased black op zombies from the app store and it will not load for me to play the game.  How can I get a refund or get the game to load and work?

I purchased black ops zombies and I can not get it to load to play it. How can I get a refund or get to run so that I can play it?

The terms of sale state that: "All Sales are Final. There are no refunds."
However, I've always found iTunes support to be helpful. So, go here, plead your case & hope for the best:

  • The apple store on IPAD will not load any items in the purchased tab.

My daughter's IPAD lost all information on it last night.  I had to restore the device today.  Now, under PURCHASED nothing finishes loading.  I can update via sync, but I can not find apps previously purchased on the device.
Anyone with any ideas as to 1) why the IPAD lost all data and required a restore and 2) why my purchased tab will not load (it has been "loading" for 30 minutes)
    Thanks

Its a new day here in County Kerry Ireland and I would like to thank the guys who answered my query.
It was a case of misreadding the terminology . I was selecting the rear tray and not the manual feeder.
    Complete stupidity on my part.
I've printed my first fine art print and hope it will be the first of many.
    Great forum! Syra

  • Update download trouble: App Store says, in error, "-not enough free disk space"

I wonder if anyone can help me troubleshoot this... I am unable to download some updates as from the App Store, and instead get an error message that suggests I don't have enough free disk space despite there being over 100GB free.
More detail: after installing Mavericks successfully, I started updating a few applications. While downloading iMovie and iPhoto there was an error - can't recall what the pop-up said, but I think it was a fairly general kind of error message. When I then tried to download them again, the App Store gave me an error message about free disk space, so I deleted a bunch of files and tried again. Same result, same error message ("Your hard disk does not have enough free space"). I checked on free space, however, and at this point I had over 100GB of free space.
I tried deleting the com.apple.storeagent folder in my Library/Caches folder, then trying again. but it made no difference. I've restarted, repaired permissions, verified the disk, restarted again, and I'm still seeing the error.
One odd feature of this problem: in the App Store purchases tab (see screengrab below), the icons for both iMovie and iPhoto are missing/broken, which might just point the way to what is going wrong.
    System details:
    IMac 27", 2009
    2.8GHz i7
    12GB RAM
    Running OS X 10.9
    Couple of screengrabs to illustrate:

    From the menu bar, select
     ▹ System Preferences ▹ Time Machine
If the padlock icon is closed, click it to unlock the settings and authenticate. Turn Time Machine OFF, then turn it backON and close the preference pane. Wait a few minutes, then try the operation again.

  • APP STORE UPDATE TAB SHOWING BLANK

I guess the issue with app store update blank is a BUG. Because when i woke up this morning and try to open it..it was already working fine. Update and purchased was all working fine now.

The update server is down; try this temporary workaround
    App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

If you go to System Preferences > Network do you see other networks listed on the left panel?  Is the lock in the lower left corner closed?  If not, highlight your network, then close the lock so you block other networks.

If you mean the DL appears to be stalled give it about half an hour, if there's no movement restart and the DL should pick up from where it left off.
