App Store Reviews Missing

Hi there,
Have anyone encountered the same issue that the app store reviews went missing?
We had 51 reviews but now we've only got 2 in the store.
It just gone overnight.
What are the avenue to retrieve the reviews?

Yep. I think they've gone. But Google the app and another set of reviews (usually from the developers site) can be found.

My icon for clock and APP Store are missing. How can I restore them?

I think a family member inadvertently deleted several built in apps. I tried.syncing with I cloud and my PC, but was unable to restore them. I know the clock app and the app store are missing. Do I have to reset to factory defaults or is there some easier way to recover these?

There is no built in clock app on the iPad.
Check Settings>General>Restrictions and if you have restrictions enabled, you may have disabled installing apps and the app store icon will not be present on the iPad.
Swipe from screen to screen to look for it if it isn't restricted.
You can also reset the home screen layout and the icon will reappear - but the home screen will return to the way that it looked when you first activated your iPad.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset Home Screen Layout.

App Store is missing in Snow Leopard.

I am running OS X 10.6.8 and the App Store is missing. I have tried multiple reinstalls but it does not help. I want to upgrade to Mountain Lion but can't do without the App Store. I have contacted support and they are of no help. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Then I would advise that it is time to backup your stuf and use the Snow Leopard install DVD and erase your Mac, install Snow Leopard and then use the update combo in the link above to bring it up-to-date with 10.6.8. Migrate your stuff from the backup. Then use the Mac App Store to buy either Mt Lion or Maveriscks which should be out by the and of the month and upgrade. If your Mac can run OS X Mt Lion 10.8.x, then it should be able to run OS X Maveriscks 10.9.

Games category in app store is missing. Any suggestions?

I have the IPAD 2 and from the very first setup the Games category in app store is missing. Even if I try to execute a game from the web (safari) it automatically opens app store and gives me a message that it cannot be downloaded.
Apple support team r nice people but completely useless!! They couldn't support nor help troubleshoot my prOblem.
Any suggestions or thoughts on this weird one?

I'm in Qatar in the middle East and computer iTunes also say so.
Other iPads in the country do not have this problem. In all cases I can change my location to either USA or Lebanon.
Is the location of the apple Id or is it hardware manufactured for a specific region?

Please enter at most 3 letters or numbers. Two letters is fine with that instruction.

Wrong name on App Store reviews.

My husband and I once shared an Apple ID. We have long since seperated our accounts, but for some reason all App Store reviews keep showing his name. I have checked every place where I could have possibly entered his name, but can't find anywhere.

How do I change the name that displays when submitting app store reviews (e.g. reviews for apps)? I can't find anywhere to do it!

iTunes>Store>View My Account>4th box down>Edit Nickname...what do you show there, if anything? Also, are you postive the name being shown is not associated with your account or used with the account to obtain that app?

App Store is missing from my MacBook Pro

App Store is missing from my MacBook Pro. I've done all the necessary software updates but cannot find it in any folders, even when searching via spotlight.

Does the Apple menu have a link to the MAS? What version of Mac OS X 10.6 are you running? Is this a new MBP? If so, did you use the new MBP's update for Mac OS X 10.6.7?

App store is missing on my Admin account.

App store is missing on my Admin account but it can be accessed on my guest account. Even the apple icon in the top left does not give the app store option.
Does anyone know how I can get it back? I am fully updated. Also, I just got this mac and used migration assistant to transfer over from my old iMac, mybe this has something to do with it.

When you log into the developer center, any changes to any agreements or guidelines should be prominently displayed there.

App Store Review Guidelines problem

App Store Review Guidelines says:
iPhone apps must also run on iPad without modification, at iPhone resolution, and at 2X iPhone 3GS resolution.
Does it mean we are not able to submit apps from Adobe Flash CS5 which supports only 320X480 px resolution?

The 2X is automatic, I don't think that you can create an app that won't comply with that.

App Store reviews are useless without being sorted in reverse chronological order.

This is an important question, as it goes to the fundamental usefulness of app reviews in the App Store. Recently one of my favorite ios apps was updated and done so poorly that it went from a 5 star to a 1 star app. Subsequently, the developer did a minor tweak, creating a newer version that did not fix the major issues, but has resulted in the many, many negative reviews written after the disastrous update being buried in all the high rating reviews created for a great previous version that no longer exists. Why are app store reviews no longer sorted by latest review first, i.e. reverse chronological order? It makes no sense for a review written in 2012 rating a a much older version of the app to be well ahead of 2014 reviews that relate to the disastrous update that occurred only a few months ago. I wrote a very negative review but now that the developer has made a trivial update, my review is buried very deep in the older version section well behind reviews written in 2013 and 2012. That makes no sense whatsoever and defeats the purpose of user reviews. I can only believe that Apple has done this for the benefit of app developers, as I see no logical reason how it can benefit the Apple iPhone and iPad consumer.

IOS 7 App Store review dates missing

I notice since updating to IOS 7 that the dates for reviews are no longer appearing in the App Store app. They still appear in the reviews in the iTunes Store app.
Is this supposed to be gone with the update? If so, it's a step backwards... funny how I've relied on something as simple as the date of someone's review when deciding whether to purchase an app or not.

I wrote this to itunes feedback after several mails written to apple. I got several mails back but they sounded more like a computer generated feedback. There is not ios app store thread in here so only ipad users read this post...very clever i think to not let customers unite.
