App store saying Http/1.1 Service Unavailable. What does this mean?
Hi,
So I was trying to access my app store updates. And when I click on the updates icon it says, "Http/1.1 Service Unavailable." What does this mean and how do I fix this problem? Or do I need to contact Apple?

It means iTunes has failed to update propely. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

Ok problem solved; signing out of iTunes account and signing back in solved it.

I want a song purchased on my ipad with my apple id downloaded onto our home mac mini. So i can listen to it via that computer. However the mac is registered to my husbands apple id and it comes up with a message about 90days wait needed or something. What does this mean? And how do I get one measly song downloaded?!
Welcome to the Apple Community.
It sounds like you are trying to change your login in the Tunes store through iTunes on your computer, which you can only do once in 90 days, which you don't need to do for this.

I have never experienced this issue, but if you can't find anything that helps on the site that Philly suggested, I have read that this has worked for that error code.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data or Cache. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
i try and plug my phone into itunes and it comes up with an error saying this iphone cannot be used because apple mobile device has not started! what does that mean?

When I-tunes is trying to sync my phone, I get a message regarding Data Class Information from Sync Services saying they were unable to do this. I have no idea what this means. I have not been having any problems with syncing info from my computer to phone until just now. I am trying to install new alert tones from an app that I purchased. The alert ones are now in my library on I-tunes and they play but they are not syncing to my phone. The snycing options is not available in my library and when I try to manually sync these tones, nothing is happening. I recently purhcased ringtones from the I-tunes store and from my phone and they downloaded with no problems and are synced onto my computer and are showing up in the same library list as the tone alerts which I cannot seem to sync. I have no idea why this is. Please help!

It's ok to do this even if you are already running v10.6.7.

thanksDid the email ask that you click on a link or provide additional information about yourself? If so it's a phishing scam. Delete the message and ignore it.
If you did buy a new computer sometime recently, then it's just a welcome email, nothing more. -
I'm trying to update my apps and purchase a movie from itunes and it keeps saying "an unknown error has occurred." How do I fix this?
Trying to do both at the same time? Try updating the apps first. Maybe one at a time. Then try buying the movie.
First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously ignoring the red slider should one appear until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem. -

Try the following:
- Double click the Home button and close all apps in the recently-used dock. The power off and then back on the iPod.
- A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order -
