I was looking for a app, turned out not available in Canada and got switched to U.S. App Store automatically. How do I switch back please?

Change App Store
1. Tap "Settings"
2. Tap "iTunes & App Stores"
3. Tap on your Apple ID
4.Tap "View Apple ID"
5. Enter your user name and password.
6. Tap "Country/Region."
7. Tap "Change Country/Region"
8. Select the country/region where you are located; re-select country/region even if it is correct
9. Tap "Done".
Note: If the change doesn't take effect, sign out of account and sign in again.

App store switching between US and UK

I am using a UK iPhone 3G S on 3.1.3 that has been unlocked by O2 and my app store keeps randomly changing between the US and UK app stores.
I have checked my itunes accounts on all my authorized computers and they are all set to UK. It doesn't switch after syncs either, it will randomly change between the 2 stores during the day while i am using my phone and then whenever i try to download apps it obviously won't allow it as i am not logged in to the correct country. However i can't seem to log out and then specify the correct store to log into.
This is baffling me.
Any suggestions?

FYI, you cannnot use other countries itunes stores.
Open itunes store, scroll to the bottom. Click the flag in the bottom right corner.
Select your country

Photoshop Elements 10 from Mac App Store switched to German

I purchased PS Elements 10 from the Mac App store a month a ago and it's been fine. All of a sudden it switched to German. The only language I have installed in Apple preferences is English. What to do? Thanks.

My app store switch countries automatically

It start a month ago, every time when I open the app store on my iPhone or iPad, the country changes! I live in Japan, but the app store constantly switching among Japanese store, Chinese store, and Korean store! Sometimes I get the feature in Japanese store, top 25 in Chinese, and all the tags are in Korean! But when I click on any apps in none-Japanese app store, i will get the "your request can not complete" in random language. I try to log off and logon again, and even rest my devices, nothing works. This is so wired, anyone having this problem? Or can someone enlighten me? Thanks.

I've been getting the same issue (after my iOS6 upgrade). It will let me switch back to my home country store...but very annoying. Why is this happening?

My apple store got switched to American, I'm Canadian and now it won't let me change it back how do I do it, and its not my apple I.D. That is Canadian my App Store isn't.

Whenever I updated or downloaded a new app from the App Store, a message appears saying:

I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me please?

Are you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out.

I moved from Japan to Australia. I need to change from Japan App Store to the Australian App Store. I get the following message every time I try using My MacID which was set up in Japan: "This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the Japanese iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store." At one point... by which path I do not remember... I was instructed to created a new ID. I fill out the new ID forms, but the address is rejected each time... quite confusing. Does it want a new name? But it says I cannot use an apple domain (tag?) even though I guess it has to be an apple address... ? So I have iTunes crdit cards purchansed in Australia, can't spend in AUstralian iTunes Store, get directed back to Japan each time, and can't open a new ID... What am I doing wrong? You must have a separate Apple ID registered in the other store along with a valid bank-issued charge card in the other country, and a legal billing address in the other country.
Sorry... But... You cannot use other countries itunes stores.
You must be within the Country with a Valid Billing Address and Credit Card for that Country to use the iTunes Store of that Country..

Hi, I still use an iPhone 4, ever since my recent update of iOS I cannot purchase apps from the App Store, and a message keeps appearing saying that, 'this item cannot be purchased from the US store, and please switch to the Malaysia store''.

I keep getting this message when I try to update my apps and when trying to purchase new apps from the App Store. I checked my iTunes ID and it turns out that the country shown there is the one that I am actually living in. And it is the same as my billing address, but when I tried to update my apps again, I keep getting this message, 'you are not eligible for purchase of this item from the US store, please switch to the Malaysia store'. How do I solve this issue.
Besides ever since I updated my phone iOS it has started misbehaving, quite irritably at times. Dropped calls, slow typing, apps open very slowly, apps cannot be updated with prompts coming up like, this app cannot be updated now, please try again. I had to delete quite a few apps and reinstall them again. I had a trouble free experience with this phone till now, but is apple losing its magic.

Got it sorted though. Seems that Apple has issues with multiple apple id's.
Seems i had to somehow remember and use the original id i had when i first bought my 1st iPhone. . . .
Even after that it was extremely hard to get my apps back on my PC.

Why does the App Store not work in Genius with VoiceOver switched on

After I downloaded IOS 6 to my iPhone 4 there were a lot of things not working properly, the main things that were a problem was the App Store, to move anything with VoiceOver switched on it was touch-and then tap twice also to move the thing on the page you use three fingers swipe up or down left or right to move it. We now find that to move something in Charts you only need one finger touchon the left to move it.If Some body can come up with thee answer it is the People that work in the Accessability side of things at Apple. So if you know in Ireland why Apple cannot put in the info for Accessability for People who are Blind like me we cannot see what is going on we do not change anyof the settings...

Thank you very much for the reply. That certainly makes sense, as I am sure it is all the Time Machine backups I have that are at the root of the problem. How can I update all those older version Apps deeply embedded within my TM backups, or is the solution to unmount my 2TB drive that I use for TM?
I suppose if Apple could somehow direct the App Store to disregard all those other apps in TM, the problem would be resolved.

App Store claims update for app I never purchased and then switches me to a russian account. When I try to buy with my account i get an unknown error. How can I fix this?

When I opened the Mac App Store on my White MacBook(2010 model running Lion), it told me I had an update for Angry Birds. I never bought the original Angry Birds for Mac, so I decided I'd buy it because I enjoyed it on the iPad. When I clicked buy, it had my email switched to a russian one and when I tried to buy the app on my account, I got an unknown error (4). I can buy other items on my account, but when I try Angry Birds it always returns the error. Any ideas on how to fix it? Thanks in advance!

After upgrading to Mavericks App store only works for me when I switch over other users

After upgrading to Mavericks, the only options that work for me on App Store are Updates and Purchases, anything else only works if I switch my user either to guest or root? Any idea? Thx in advance.

Read this whole message before doing anything.
Back up all data.
Quit the App Store application if it’s running. Wait at least 10 seconds before continuing.
Step 1
Hold down the option key and select
Go ▹ Library
from the Finder menu bar. Delete the following items from the Library folder (some may not exist):
Caches/com.apple.appstore
Caches/com.apple.storeagent
Caches/storeagent
Cookies/com.apple.appstore.cookies
Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.appstore.plist
Preferences/ByHost/com.apple.storeagent.plist
Preferences/com.apple.storeagent.plist
Leave the Library folder open. Try the App Store again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder.
Step 2
If you still have problems, quit again and wait 10 seconds. Go back to the Finder and move the following items from the open Library folder to the Desktop:
Cookies/com.apple.appstore.plist
Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist
Test. If the App Store now works, delete the files you moved to the Desktop. Otherwise, quit again. Put back the files you moved, overwriting the newer ones that may have been created in their place, and post your results.
