App Store: viewing foreign App Stores?

Is there a way to see how our apps appear in foreign App Stores? I'd like to see if there are any reviews for my apps other that what I see in the U.S. store.

Yes, click home in iTunes, scroll to the bottom and then select the store of your choice.

  • Why do I have to view foreign apps?

Is there a way to modify my Apple profile so I don't have to view foreign apps that are not apps that I would pick to download?  If I can only read English
, why do I need to scroll through dozens of other languages before locating the correct app in my language?

I know of no way to modify your profile to exclude "foreign" apps but I have a theory on this and I am simply guessing, but I would imagine that the foreign apps are included since they might be interest to bilingual people, recent immigrants to the U.S, those who want to stay in touch with cultural traditions and for those of us who want to broaden our horizons.
This is the United States of America and we used to be know as the "Great Melting Pot" where people of all races, creeds, ethnicity, national origin, and religions came to settle and make a new life for themselves in the "land paved with golden streets". You may consider my explanation to be a bit over the top, but these same basic principles still apply today in the grand ole USA and I think that Apple in trying to appeal to the masses has included these apps to accommodate us all.
It boils down to having a broad range of choices and Apple has provided them in abundance in the App Store in order to appeal to the widest variety of people and their cultures.

  • Can I use apps from foreign app store on my iPad?

    Hi guys,
I apologise if this has been answered before. I would like to use apps from a foreign iTunes store on my iPad and wondered if anyone could help me with that.
We live in Australia and I want my kids to learn German as well, so I thought it would be really nice to download a few educational apps from the German iTunes store for them. I have an Australian and a German iTunes account and once I changed my apple ID in the store preferences on my iPad I can download German apps without a problem. The trouble is now that from the two apps I downloaded one changed to english and the other one doesnt open at all.
Do you have any suggestions how I could get this to work?
    Thanks
    Alex

As long as you are using the App store > link under Software update under the Apple on the menu bar if it's not already on your Dock..( or LaunchPad )...Yes.
Using iTunes Store for Apps No, they are only for iOS ie, iPads iPhones, iPod Touches etc.

  • Viewing iTunes App Details

I wish there was a way in iTunes under Apps to view the apps by which account they purchased with. Right now the only way I know to view that is to do a Get Info on an app. Also, wish I could see a list of apps in iTunes that aren't installed on any device. Any ideas if that is possible or something that would make it happen?

    Hi SuzyQ,
I was hoping you would be the one to answer my post so thank you for that.  I understand exactly what you are saying.  I have 5 different lines with Verizon but when i go to MYVerizon and sign in I have to use my home number then when I go to Verizon Wireless I have to use my wireless number here is the confusion under the wireless I don't think it has me as the account owner because being registered with the home number so I went looking for a place to register all phone numbers and I can't find that.  So when I go in Verizon wireless it only shows me the usage details and there is no tab to view the call details.  Do you see what I am saying?  I know I may have explained it wrong or confused you.  Then I went looking for a place called the Account Manager to make sure I was registered as the account manager and now I can't find that.  I am very frustrated with this VeriZon website.  I guess my question is how do I make sure the Wireless part knows I am the account manager?  TXS

  • App store give me foreign apps

When I try to browse in the app store, all I can see is foreign apps. The text when I click on the app's name isnt English, I can only assume the rest of the app isn't either. Is there a way to set the app store to show me only English apps? There's probably something nice and obvious I'm missing. Thanks..

Try closing the App Store app completely and see what it's like when you re-open it : from the home screen (i.e. not with App Store 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the App Store app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • I was told you you could view your app from your Iphone on the TV using Apple TV, such as the AFL football one i have purchased through the App store.

I was told you could view your app from your Iphone on the TV using Apple TV, such as the AFL football one i have puchased through the App store. Is this true?

Hi - you can do what you want to do with AirPlay from your iPhone - but unfortunately it is not as easy as the people in the Apple store told you - your first problem is that you have a non Apple router - you cannot extend a non Apple router wirelessly with the Express - you can only join the network and connect an ethernet device to it - you can however connect via ethernet and have it create a wireless network of its' own - you can set this up from your iPhone or the XP - but this is a complicated setup and would involve many different discussion areas of this forum - therefore I would suggest that you use your 90 days of support and consult directly with Apple to do this - go to this link - http://www.apple.com/support/contact/

  • Application language when bought from foreign app store

I'm staying in Japan and using a macbook pro. I want to buy some apps, like pages or numbers for instance, from the Japanese app store using my credit card(issued in Japan). Should I be worried about the interface language of the application? I want the application to use English language.
    Thanks!

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
The application uses the OS X language, so Numbers and Pages will be also available in English even if you purchased them from a foreign App Store. If OS X is set in English, they will use English

  • What is a quick alternative to launching an enterprise DPS app if Apple Store rejects the App? We are under a major deadline and can't wait for Apple. We want to host the app elsewhere. How do we host our DPS app on our client's website?

What is a quick alternative to launching an enterprise DPS app if Apple Store rejects the App? We are under a major deadline and can't wait for Apple to approve. We want to host the app elsewhere. How do we host our DPS app on our client's website? Thanks.

Unless I misunderstand the question, you can't do what you're asking to do. Apple doesn't allow you to bypass their store and host public apps on a website. The exception is an enterprise app, which requires an Enterprise account with both Apple and Adobe. This type of enterprise app can be distributed only within the company. If that's what you want to do, you can learn more here:
Digital Publishing Suite Help | Creating viewer apps for private distribution
Distributing enterprise iOS viewer applications with Digital Publishing Suite | Adobe Developer Connection
Another option is to add the development app to several devices and use those for your demo.

  • How can I get purchased apps from a different country store

    Hi
When I created my Apple ID I was in italy and obviously I used an Italian store. After few years I moved to Australia and I changed the country store for the apps store. After I backup reset and restore my iphone I lost most of the application. Is not a problem because I know they are somewhere under my Apple ID but  I don't know how can I re-download them. For example "Pages" I downloaded when I use the Italian store, now I can't get it from the Australian store but even if I change store and swap to the Italian one is like it doesn't recognise I already purchased that app in past and asking me to buy it again. Please i need ur heeelp.
    Grazie :)

If the old account still exists, switch to the French store by: Settings > iTunes and App Stores > Apple ID > View Apple ID > enter password > Coutnry/Region.
If you have a different Apple ID in the French store, at the View Apple ID step you will have to sign out and then sign in with the French Apple ID, and then continue to change the country/region.
