When I try to set up my itunes or apps store it will not take my credit card.

Confirm your account information if it is matching with your bank. You can call your bank and inquire about any issues or blocks on your account then contact support for more assistance.

  • App Store will not accept my debit card

Every time I try to verify my payment type, it will not accept any of my payment types -- tried 3 different debit cards.

Make sure that the billing adress and the card owner's name are right. also check if the security code is right. Also don't share your credit card or personal information with anyone to prevent fraud.

App Store does not accept my bank card, what i have to do?

The last app purchase did not go well. I still owe some money to the app store, but for some reason, because of this, it refuses my credit card details, even though they are correct and the bank says my card is fine.

  • ITunes will not accept my credit card anymore

    Hello people,
After using my credit card (which is in fact a debit card) for 2 months now, and buying plenty of applications for the iPhone 3g from the Romanian store....all of a sudden iTunes stopped accepting my credit card and i don't know why. I still have plenty of money on it but it seems it doesn't matter.
What can i do? It has something to do with the billing information ?
    All the best,
    Andrei D

To be honest with you I don't have an iTunes account so I don't know the details of how it works. Are you trying to do these purchases from your old computer or your new one? iTunes has a one-click procedure and if the itunes account information/authorization is stored on your old computer it probably did not get carried over to your new computer just by moving the library. You might have to reauthorize your account the way you have to authorize your computer for playing music. Again, I'd contact your local iTunes service about this issue since it really sounds like it is dealing with billing.

  • ITunes will not accept my credit card security code

I've tried re-entering my info and have fOllowed apples own resolution
Which by the way does not work

Is it a prepaid credit card?  This error occurs due to a discrepancy between what the credit card company has on file and with what you put for your address in iTunes.  Prepaid cards are generally not accepted in the iTunes store because there is no billing address to cross-referance. Even something as small as a period in the wrong place can cause this error, for example, the credit card company has your address as "123 St." but you enter "123 St" then you could get the error.

  • Itunes will not accept my Credit Card entered is not valid in Australia what duh?

This is my first time I've got an issue with Itunes,  I have to say I am APPLE biggest buyer and a loyal customer of APPLE but this error seems ridiculous.  I've been using the same credit card in itunes with no problems till today.  My last purchased was on the 3 March 2012, got 3 apps from itunes for my Iphone.  Just this morning tried to get another app with the same credit card, comes with an error stating that
'The credit card you entered is not valid in Australia. Please provide a valid credit card for Australia'
I find this is totally incorrect, I had contact my financial instituation confirming that there is nothing wrong with my card which is true.  I done searches in Apple Support regarding the error, implying that it could be the post code or the address, I can assured there is nothing wrong with my billing or postal address as it has always been the same.  I don't see what would be the reason my card got rejected?    This is very frustrating NOT HAPPY JAN!!............
Not a happy customer at the moment

It's frustrating, I thought there was something wrong with my credit cards then I called my bank. It was confirmed that two my cards were working. I entered two cards and same error.
You would need Mac Store to update your Mac as well :( its funny it was working two days ago I hope Apple can compensate lol

  • Apple will not accept my credit card security code

I have had a ITunes account for several years and was recently given an iPad from work. I went to apple store to purchase apps and was told to add security code from credit card. I have try to do so several times but no luck. I have even tried using a new cc but security code shows as not valid.

Try updating your billing address in iTunes.

  • Help! App Store will not accept new terms/conditions

Howdy!  I have a MBP early 2011 with 8GB RAM and it has OS X 10.7.5.
It has been working well, but today I note that it will not Download via the App store. I get stuck in an endless loop, where I see a drop down menu saying "Terms and Conditions Have Changed" and when I do the usual thing and accept terms, I sometimes get to the Thank-you page, sometimes back to the sale page, but INVARIABLY the store REFUSES to accept that I accepted terms!
That makes it hard to upgrade!
I have repaired permissions, and repired the disk (didn't need repairs). I have upgraded to 10.7.5, and I have cold rebooted.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

The iTunes and Mac App Store / iCloud problem spontaneously resolved for me as of 21:54 Pacific Standard Time on 9/30/2012.
Someone at Apple was aware of and fixed the problem. Finally.
    Yeah!

  • App store will not accept password to apply updates

I have a MacBook Pro (v10.8), an iPad Mini (v7.1.2) and an iPhone 5 (v7.1.2).  About 2 months ago, we began experiencing serious issues trying to get these devices to accept the our Apple ID password.  Its not that its being rejected as an incorrect password, rather instead, it seems to ignore the entry and pops up with multiple retry screens.  I've signed out of my iTunes account, performed a hard reboot, and successfully sign back into the account.  But when I attempt to update my apps from the App Store, it seems to ignore my password entry, after briefly showing "install", and immediately returns to "update" mode.  Click on "Update", and the problem repeats.  Also, when I attempt to access Pages documents stored in the Cloud, it again ignores my password.  I tried chatting with Apple Support last night, to no avail.

I tried chatting with Apple Support last night, to no avail.
What does that mean exactly? Did the Apple representative tell you that you could never use the App Store again on any of your devices, and nothing could be done about it?

  • ITunes will not accept my credit card info

I had my information stored so that when I wanted to purchase music, I had only to indicate what I wanted to buy and it would present me with a sign in scree, where I could put in my password, and then the account information screen to add my security code from the credit card, and the music should be mine. However, it would not accept the security code, and tells me that there are unacceptable characters in with my credit card information. I blanked everything out and started from scratch, and its not taking it. Whats up with that? Brenda

Usually it's not a problem with the credit card numbers, it's something wrong with your address.

  • Itunes will not accept my credit card

The data has been updated by me all! I understand the problem!
    Maybe someone has an idea

It's usually due to a discrepancy between the information you supplied vs. the issuing bank's records. Make sure all the information matches your mailing address exactly:
iTunes Store: My credit card's security code or zip code does not match my bank's records

  • ITunes will not accept my Credit Card Billing address

I tried to update my credit card in iTunes, and each time, it tells me "Your credit card information does not match your bank's records. Please enter a U.S. credit card and matching billing address. Which I've done repeatedly. Apple keeps pre-authorizing an outstanding iTunes bill on my card, 11 times now! and the funds are blocked on my card, - close to $100.00 dollars. I've talked to iTunes CS for at least 2 hours, they keep telling me it's my bank. I spoke to my bank and they say that my card is fine. I charged something on Amazon, it went through fine. Charged something on Netflix, went through fine. B&H Photo, again fine.
I realized that iTunes adds the 4 digit extended Zip Code, which my bank does not use, so I logged in appleid.apple.com and took out the extended 4 digits there, logged back into iTunes, and updated it, so it didn't have the extended 4. Then hit Done. - It came back with the same "does not match" error message, and it ADDED the +4 code again! - Of course it won't match if you keep adding things that aren't there!
Has anyone else been able to resolve this matter? iTunes C.S. won't take responsibility and keeps putting the fault on me or my bank.
