App Store Window (re)sizing issue?

I set all my browser windows including the Mac App Store window the same size. Yet whenever I open the Mac App Store after resizing it to the preferred dimension, it remembers the size I set and the location. Then, the next time I open it, it grows downward toward the dock just a bit, then further down the next time I open it until it finally goes from the Menu bar to the dock. Can anyone explain how to remedy this issue please? The width is not affected but it grows downward over time until I resize it back to my preferred setting and start over.
Just a bit annoying, kind of like when iTunes maximizes after each mobile app complete's its update download.

Hi, I had to re-install Windows 8.1 and not allow any Windows updates. That way the Boot Camp drivers for the GPUs were installed correctly...

Looks like Adobe updated CC for Windows to work properly now with D300s, so there is likely some application and not just driver issue going on?

I received an a text including a shrunk URL. I unshrunk the URL, www.glide.com. I then pressed link in message. Instead of opening Safari, a blank App store window opened. If you are completely confident that you didn't hide it, then you purchased those with different apple id. If you completely confident that you purchases with same apple id then you have hidden it. One of the other or you are speaking about a miracle. While miracles are possible they are not very likely. Remember

App Store window opens, but doesn't load content; I need to update some apps

I have a iMac and running OS X Yosemite 10.10.1. A few days ago, got notification from the App Store about updates; wasn't able to do them at the time. Since then, I've tried several times opening the App Store; the window opens but with no content; only the top header appears ("Featured" "Top Charts" "Cataegories" "Purchases" and "Updates") ; the "loading" icon just keeps spinning. I deleted the App Store plist and cookies, but that didn't help.

Cannot upgrade imac from app store anyone with same issue?

Hello, I can see that there is an upgrade ready to install against the app store app, but when I click on the app store icon it jumps up once but nothing happens.

If you're having problems with the App Store you might try this:
1 - enable the Debug menu in App Store:
open the Terminal application.
copy the command below and paste into the Terminal window:
defaults write com.apple.appstore ShowDebugMenu -bool true
followed by Enter or Return.
launch App Store, login.
2 - select the Debug ➙ Reset Application option:
3 - try again.

Maverics - App Store Updates broken - Certificate issue

After update to Maverics from Lion i cannot use App Store Updates, so now I don't now have my system any updates or not.
The issue is in "wrong" certificate as App Store Updates talkes to me (message in Russian):

I'm using my local ISP and there's no problems with Apple site and other App store things - I'm able to install programs from it.
I've checked that certificate right now - it's signed with Verisign and seems to be Ok, my safari displays it as green.
How can I recieve updates for my Mac ?

App Store updates from iPhone issue

Having issues with App Store updates.
I see on my iPhone that I have 12 updates. However, when i go to install the update, it does not work on the iPhone. Anyone else having this kind of issue? If so how are you resolving it. Find this to be a real nuisance with the App Store on the iPhone.

Hey Bruce...similar problem. As of about 4 weeks ago I can no longer get updates on iTunes. iTunes will tell me that I have some, but when I go to get them, it says "No Updates At This Time. Check Again Later"but I can clearly see I have three waiting...so I have to download them all through my iPhone and then sync back to iTunes. Frustrating.

For updating applications, if the other AppleID is showing, that means that those apps were purchased under that other ID, and they will be forever tied to that ID - regardless of what ID you have signed on to iTunes & App Store. Any time you try to update those apps, you will have to put in the password for the ID that they were originally purchased under.
For purchasing new Apps, if you have the correct ID signed on under iTunes & Apps option on your iPhone, then it will come up with whatever ID you have signed on under that option whenever you purchase a new App.

ITunes and App store payment info verification issues

So I'm trying to download apps or music straight to my new upgraded iphone 3GS with the 4.0 software and it refuses to verify regardless of the fact I've entered the correct security code for the card. It says the information does not match my banks info and won't process. I've updated and reissued one click payment info on my apple ID and it refuses to process. I've purchased other items online with other websites without an issue using the card information and security code so I don't feel its the banks or the cards fault.
What can be done?

Update 9.4.3 issues with app store

So I have updated to the new 9.4.3 iPhoto 4 times since it's release, and every day the app store tells me that I need to update iPhoto 9.4.3 to iPhoto 9.4.3. Is there a reason why app store keeps telling me I have new update available even though I have already installed the update many times?

Access to app store blocked by app window

I need sotware, e.g. DivX, to run a video in my keynote folder but cannot access my app store to find it because a window for the last app I downloaded is superimposed on the app store window and I cannot remove it. See screen shot below.
How can I exit this window and how can I run a video in .avi format?

Updates in iOS App Store. Cannot connect to iTunes Store

I have been having an issue with my iPhone. Whenever I tap the updates tab on the bottom of the App Store window it pops up with a message saying that my iPhone Cannot connect to the iTunes Store. It is not an issue with my Wifi connection as I have tried over 3G. It is not my Apple ID as I have reset my password checkede all of my details and it works fine on the same Apple ID on my iPad. It is just my phone. I spent and hour on the phone with Apple Technical Support and they could not troubleshoot it, so put me through to a Senior Advisor. The phone line then cut off from Apples end. Even after I say OK to the message that opens it does not let me see my updates, it just shows a badge. Also the purchased bar in the updates section is not there. I can access the rest of the store as well, like the Top 25, Featured, Categories and Search. Just not my updates. It sounds like something so small it's not even worth it but it gets really annoying!
The guy at Tech support went through numerous things with me. Signing in and out of my Apple ID and signing in on a different one. Checking my Internet connection. Resetting my network settings. Resetting all of my settings and have you turned it off and on again? I had tried all of those previous to being on the phone with him.
I was wondering has anyone else had this problem? How can it be solved? Should I take my iPhone into an Apple Store? Should I reset it by erasing all data on it?

Hi Hamid,
I had realised that my iPhone Date & Time settings were not on auto so I can manually change them. Also I had heard rumours that other peoples' iPhones were doing the same thing as mine. I had looked into it for a day or so and found the answer on a website from Google.
I checked it and it worked!

How do i know what app store account was used to install an app on my macbook pro?

For about a year i have been bugged by the app store that i a couple of apps that are not up to date. I have tried to find the account that the app was installed with. I have found three accounts on my name, i logged in with all of them but no luck. How can you figure out under what name an app was installed?

Please try each of the following steps you haven't already taken, until the issue is resolved. After each step, relaunch the App Store and try again.
1. Follow the instructions in the Apple Support article linked below:
Mac App Store: Cannot update App Store purchases or updates do not seem available
2. If any App Store purchases were made under a different Apple ID, or if the bundled iLife applications were accepted under a different ID, sign in to the App Store with that ID to update.
3. Alternatively, delete the probem applications and re-download them with the ID you're using now. If you haven't already purchased them with that ID, you'll have to do that first, because purchases can't be transferred from one account to another.
4. Select the Purchased tab in the App Store window. If you see an item in the list marked "You have 3 apps to accept," click Accept.
5. Triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/adoption.plist
Right-click or control-click the highlighted line and select Services ▹ Reveal from the contextual menu. A Finder window may open with a file selected. If it does, delete the selected file. You may be prompted for your login password.
Then repeat step 4.
6. Select Store ▹ View My Account from the App Store menu bar, then select View hidden purchases. If you're trying to update any hidden purchases, unhide them.
7. Launch iTunes and select Store ▹ Authorize This Computer from the menu bar.
8. If you've moved any App Store apps out of the applications folder, or into a subfolder, put them back. Never move or copy those applications.
