App store wont let me download anything

Ive got an iPhone 5S, When I go to try and download anything on the appstore it tells me that all the card information is wrong, but its not.
Ive double checked, logged in and out several times. What should I do?

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:
Make sure your date, time, and time zone are correct in Settings > General > Date & Time.
Note: Time Zone may list another city in your time zone.
Make sure that your iOS software is up to date by tapping Settings > General > Software Update (iOS 5 or later) or connecting your iOS device to iTunes and clicking Check for Update on your device's Summary page.
Check and verify that you're in range of a Wi-Fi router or base station. If you're on a device with cellular service, make sure that cellular data is turned on from Settings > General > Cellular.
Note: If connected to cellular data, larger items may not download. You may need to connect to Wi-Fi to download apps, videos, and podcasts.
Make sure that you have an active Internet connection. You can check the user guide for your device for help with connecting to the Internet.
Make sure that other devices (portable computers, for example) are able to connect to the Wi-Fi network and access the Internet.
Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router.
If the issue persists, try troubleshooting your Wi-Fi networks and connections.

Try a Reboot. Press and hold BOTH the power and home buttons at the SAME time for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo appear, then let go of both buttons and your iPad will restart. You won't lose any data or settings. When it comes back on, see if you can download apps.

i press free then it says waiting.....then a message pops up saying " Unable to download at this time" its been doing this for almost a month ...i restarted my ipod ..i signed out of my apple id and signed back in. and i disconnect my wifi then reconnected it. STILL WONT WORK

Do what the message says and add a valid payment method. It appears that you have a negative balance. That happens sometimes.
Apple requires a valid payment method even for free apps and updates.

Is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill ? If it's not then that might be the reason that you are getting the security code error : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.
And/or try contacting iTunes support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Express Lane, then iTunes > iTunes Store

What does "new actualization" mean?
Do you have Restrictions set that world prevent installing those apps? Settings>General>Restrictions

Since updateing from iOS5.1.1 to 6.0 the button for downloading an app (either 'FREE' or '$xx.xx') remains greyed out.
Please help.

If you have iOS 4.2.1 or later on the iPod and there was version compatible with that version, then you should be able to get a compatible version by:
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

when i went to itunes on my computer it would start downloading the apps i purchased on my phone but would get stuck a processing file, then when i went to purchase a movie i would click the buy button and it would ask my password but then would not purchase or download. Are you putting in the address where the bank sends the monthly statement?
Apple's servers are very picky about the format of the address. If you live in the USA, then the server is expecting the style that the US Postal Service uses. One way to do this is to use the USPS ZIP Code lookup service;

Enter the address to look up the ZIP code and then copy the exact USPS output into your iTunes account information.

I owe money and the billing information is telling me that my security code is invalid. If i get money in my account, will i be able to put in my security code again and purchase apps and music again?
