App stuck installing

I started installing Hitman Absolution and the install paused. Now it is greyed out, I cannot restart it, and when I select resume, it sits at waiting and nothing happens.
Is there a way to delete it entirely and restart the process?

It is the Hitman App purchased from the app store not a windows based game. I need to figure out how to stop the one that is paused and start the install over.

IOS 5 apps stuck installing

I traded up to an iPhone 4 and was reinstalling my apps. I went back later to the App Store to update one, and it is now stuck "installing." The crazy part is that the app icon is *gone*. When I go back to the App Store, the app shows "Installing" (grayed out).
I've power cycled my phone several times. I have been able to install and delete additional apps.
Ideas?

I've got the same issue. With my iPhone 4 on IOS 5.1
An app is stuck installing. It has the loading queue under it with nothing loading, with the word installing. I try to 'download all' when updating in the app store. The first one the list (of 7), the one thats stuck "soundhound" wont update. Its preventing all the other apps, 7 of them from updating as well, tey are in waiting mode. I've tried hard reset several times. Turn the phone on and off.
What's weird is that the app store normal asks for reauthorization to continue any downloads. But since attempting to update these apps I haven't been asked for my password. I waiting an hour and no movment on apps whatso ever. That is until I tried to download a new app in hopes of forcing the apps to begin downloading again, it didn't work and the new app doesn't download!
I went to the drastic step of deleting app from within the general settings, but the app still appears as installing even after more hard resets. I reset network settings, though I don't see how that would have helped ( It was suggestion online. Ive looked at other resources online with little options, other than a full reset and sync with iTunes) My computer has bit the dust, and was hoping I'd never need it again with iCloud. I'm at a loss as to what to do, any suggestions??

IPhone 3GS app stuck installing - can't be deleted

I purchased a Tavelocity app for my iPad that requires iOS7. When I later went to use my 3GS iPhone (iOS v 6.1.6) I discovered that it was attempting to install the Travelocity app on the iPhone. It is now stuck in a "waiting" mode and cannot be deleted. When I press the Home button the app does not display an "X" to be deleted. When I connect to iTunes it shows the app in the right panes representing my iPhone, but not in the list to the left. Therefore, I cannot select it to be removed when I sync. I have searched the web for solutions but none have worked. Why would my iPhone 3GS attempt to install an app that requires iOS7 and what can I do to remove this app from my iPhone? Ever since this happened, my battery life has reduced significantly and if I attempt to do anything that requires a lot of power it crashes. Can someone please recommend a solution? I don't know if this is related to the problem I described above, but after downloading and installing updates to other apps from the App Store app, when I select to see the Purchased apps, it attempts to display them but is unable to do so. The list is blank.

Only photos taken by iPhone can be deleted normally, the ones synced via iTunes require a new photo sync.
Create a empty folder on your computer.
Connect device to iTunes.
Choose "sync photos".
Choose the empty folder you created.
Start sync.
Done.

I have a MacBook with OS X 10.5.8 and I purchased a Mtn Lion OS up grade and it keeps telling me to install via the Mac App Store, but I can't get the Mac App Store installed on the MacBook it wants at least 10.6.6 so I seem to be stuck . Help

TS1702 More than one app is stuck installing and not doing anything

I was updating apps and wireless shut off. Now they are stuck installing and I can' t do anything with them.

I tried. It won't let me delete them. I have restarted. Still stuck.

Have you tried a reset to see if it resumes installing after the iPad has restarted ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Iphone 4 - IO6 Problem: After upgrading to the absoulte crap that is IO6, one of my apps is stuck on "loading" and no new apps will install. I had the same issue and tried several options like rebooting, resyncing, deleting and reinstalling apps, restarting the network connection but none of them worked. Eventually I opened iTunes on my iPhone (not on Mac) to find that it had two pending downloads that was stopping the rest of the apps from loading fully. You need to cancel them by swiping left to right over the listed apps and select cancel/delete. It worked for me. Good luck!

Apps stuck in waiting after updating on iOS 7.0.2

Since i updated my iPad 2 to iOS 7.0.2 i have this persistent problem, I tried everything to make it normal but it never happens.
After i update an App on my iPad throught the AppStore on the iPad this problem occurs.
1. Eventhough the update is complete the app gets stuck in "waiting... " state
2. However the App opens through the AppStore on the iPad
Above are few of the apps stuck in waiting and they have a Open button adjacent to them.
Notice that iBooks is on waiting... however i can open it through the app store.
and use it normally.
Only solution which works as of now is to delete the apps from settings on the iPad and install them again from the Appstore, but then i'd loose all the data i previously have.
I have no Idea why this is happening. I cannot open the stuck apps directly by taping them i have to go through the AppStore. Please help.
PS: You cannot uninstall app by long tapping it because the X mark does not appear on the app.

Try a reset ...
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings

Ipod touch 4th generation ios 6.1.6 apps stuck

Two apps seem have become stuck in the 'install' mode, after I was prompted to update them...they are bbc iplayer and youtube, both apps I use a lot. I cannot delete them manually from my ipod because as they are greyed in 'install' mode the little 'x' in the corner doesn't appear. I tried deleting them in the apps section of the sync page of itunes, applied the change, re-backed up my ipod and then tried to restore it from the just saved backup...but its still not getting rid of the apps stuck in their install mode. Would I have to entirely restore the ipod to get out of this?

Hi, I've got apps stuck in newsstand... Every time I hold the home button and hold onto an app, I'm able to drag it into newsstand... It's a glitch and I have all my apps installed into newsstand creating a huge folder... Though I can't get them out HELP!

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then steps 1 to 5 on the page that you posted from should let you reset them : go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account, then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) or you aren't receiving the email then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset (we are fellow users here on these forum).

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the page that you posted from to add a rescue email address for potential future use.

Calendar app stuck on year view

iPhone 4S running OS 8.1 - Calendar app stuck in year view. Shows todays date in red but when you try to go to "Today" nothing happens. Any thoughts?

There is more than one place to change time. If you set the time to local, you need to go into Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>scroll down to the bottom under calendar and set the time zone support there for the local time zone.

We have to make a decision on deploying Office 365 via on premise click-to-run, with the Office Deployment tool, or via App-V. But the way add-ins are supported on Office 365 / Office 2013 on App-V 5.0 SP2 is not clear to me.
Some Technet sites mention that for add-in support on an App-V based office, the add-ins should be sequenced and put together in a connection group with the Office App-V package (created by the Office Deployment tool)

There is a new feature for Office 365 Pro Plus, it allow administrators the ability to exclude App element. We need to use Office 2013 Click-to-Run (Build 15.0.4615.1001) and logon as administrator.
