App submission took forever and transmitted over 1GB data

Hi,
I'm trying to submite an app to iTunes App Store from XCode. I am using the Product -> Archive -> Distribute ... route.
The problem is that I'm stuck in the "Your application is being uploaded" screen for over 25 mins. During this period, I could see my outgoing transfer rate is from 500KB/s to 2.0MB/s, and over 1GB data has been trasmitted. But right now the progress bar just passed 1/3.
The file size of my app is smaller than 20MB. So I'm wondering what is taking so long, and why so much data has been transmitted. (If I cancel the submission, the network activity immediately decreases to under 100KB/s.)

I had the same issue. I rebuilt the archive and now the problem has gone.

I can't loose pics of my kids births and birthdays... I tried the holding buttons and letting off to exit recovery mode with no success... I don't know what to do but I swear if apple makes me loose the priceless pics of my kids I will never buy any apple device ever again... and I will make sure no family or friend ever does either... there has to be a way somehow.. some data recovery some program... I dunno if tinyumbrella can exit it for me without hacking or jailbreaking (which I don't dare/want to do) but i need a solution. I have researched this for hours and hours with no solution so far. If I have to pay $$ for it fine I will but after I recover my data that way I will be going to samsung... anyone with a solution would be greatly appreciated... any solution...

that makes no sense... it was only doing an update... if that's the case it should have promted me to back up first if this is even possible... there is a program that says it can recovery anything that hasn't been written over yet.. so would this not work? http://www.iphone-data-recovery.com/iphone-data-recovery.html or would the apple store be able to recover it??? i've done plenty of data recovery on computers... why wouldn't it be possible on an Iphone... does apple seriously not care about thier customers at all??? how about thier employees that are gonna get more than an earful tomorrow when I walk in there store??? Iphone 6 app store slow download and update over wifi

Just recently noticed, my iphone 6 app store takes more than 20 min to update and download apps with wifi. With my carrier's LTE downloads and updates are fine. I've done speed tests as well on my iphone using home wifi, with good results. Surfing the net, and using other apps using home wifi works fine as well. App store downloads and updates are my only problem. Tried doing resets to no avail.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Zfs scrub took forever and generated many checksum errors

I have one machine running Solaris 10 10/07 X86_64. It has been a few days since I started "zpool scrub <pool>", but scrub still hasn't made much progress (still at 1.79%). I wonder if the scrub operation will ever complete. On a 4TB file system, how long does "scrub" run to finish generally?
Also running scrub generated many checksum errors on many disks, is this normally expected? Or something is wrong with hardware?
Any advice how to make scrub run faster?

what % of the 4tb is used? you could zpool scrub -s <pool> (prob know this..). zpool manpages has: "whereas scrubbing examines all
data to discover silent errors due to hardware faults or disk failure."
are you seeing any hw issues with disk controllers or disks themselves in /var/adm/messages since you say you have checksum errors? any fault lights on any disk or array in use?

Click App Store from your Apple menu  drop down menu then select Updates from the App Store menu bar.

Try close all inactive apps
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.
3. The app will fly off the screen

The stock message app. To be honest my entire phone seems slow.. and it says there is no updates available.. I've updated all of the apps that have available updates and I've even deleted my saved messages... Just not sure why all of a sudden it is running slow.

Apps are always tied to the ID that was used to purchase them originally. Did you try entering your old password and see if that works?
If you need to sign out of your old account go to Settings>Store>Tap on your ID and sign out. Sign in with the new one.
you can also access your ID in the featured tab of the App Store. Swipe to the bottom of the screen and you will find it there as well.

I have downloaded the two files needed for the upgrade of Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 to version 12 but I cannot open them to make them run and install. What am I supposed to do. One is a very large .7z file just over 1gb in size.

How do I open up a .7z file just over 1gb in size? I have just downloaded this as an upgrade from Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 to version 12. I cannot see any sign of the Akamai program on my computer that is supposed to open and install the two files that I downloaded.

I don’t mind mountain climbing but anything serious to do with a computer scares me silly.
I installed the 64 bit version of 7zip and once I figured out how to tell the computer to use the right application within that to open the 7zip file, the big file opened and I was able to apply the .exe file to get things going and installed. In the end the default location the installation chose was program files x86 which I think is the 32 bit folder but it all seems to be ok now.

And I know this means I have to go to Apple and get another phone and will lose anything that wasn't backed up. Anyone else have this happen or have a solution so I don't have to do a restore???

Reboot your computer.
Disable your antivirus and firewall.
Connect the phone to a USB port directly on your computer, not to a hub. If your computer is not a laptop and has ports on both front and back use a port on the back.
If iTunes does not recognize the phone when you connect it see: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808
If it STILL doesn't work open a command window and type:
netsh winsock reset
Then try again. (It seems that a recent Microsoft Windows update may have corrupted network settings; this restores them to the factory default).
BTW, was there an error number associated with the failed update?

Last Resort, put the iPhone in DFU mode (Google How to do that). Connect in iTunes. Follow on-screen prompts to Restore. All Data would be lost, if not backed up earlier.
To save the photographs you may have to use third party software. Google is your friend.

Check USB connections
If there’s an issue with the USB port, cable, dock, or hub, or if the device becomes disconnected during restore, try troubleshooting the USB connection, then troubleshooting your security software.
Common errors: 13, 14, 1600-1629, 1643-1650, 2000-2009, 4000, 4005, 4013, 4014, 4016, “invalid response”, and being prompted to restore again after a restore completes.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use another USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port on your computer.
Try a different dock connector (or no dock).
Add (or remove) a USB hub between your device and computer.
Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, with no routers, hubs, or switches.
If you see your error after changing your USB connections, continue to the next section to troubleshoot your hardware.
