App syncing and update problem

Please, explain me why a single app (for instance D8 or D17, just installed from the store) can prevent to sync or update iOS 8.
Itunes is stucked with the message "Waiting for changes to be applied".
It's a real pain to establish which app causes this problem.

I have exactly the same problem... Two weeks to restore my backup and to synchronize...
I have disable D17 and all works perfectly !

IPhone 5 app store and update problems! Please help!

Okay so I have a iPhone 5 and all my software is up to date. I'm not able to download or update any of my apps. Whenever I press on update, it asks to enter my apple id password and after I do, it stalls for a few seconds and then says "update" again. It does the same thing when I try to downlaod a new app. My apple I.d and password are both correct. This has been going on for several days and I honestly have tried just about everything. I've turned off my phone, made sure my restrictions were off, ect. Pleeease help, it would be greatly appreciated

Reset the device instead of simply restarting it.
If that doesn't work, pick one of the apps that is least important to you. Delete it. Then try to redownload it.

Syncing and Charging Problem with 1st gen iPod nano

I purchased a 1st generation iPod nano via eBay about 3 months ago and have developed an interesting syncing and charging problem. When I plug the nano to my iMac, frequently neither the computer nor iTunes will recognize it. I have done "the five R's" with occasional success. I've tried jiggling the cable in the computer port and sometimes it works in getting iTunes to recognize the nano, sometimes it doesn't. Even when I am able to get iTunes to recognize the nano, I have frequently found that the nano hasn't charged up at all. In fact, a couple of times I found it almost totally drained of power after having been connected to my computer. Yes, I have the most recent version of iTunes installed on my iMac and my iMac, by the way, is relatively new - having been purchased in May of this year. What is interesting is that I've taken my nano to work and it has absolutely no problem charging up on my Dell (yuk!). For the record, I do not have iTunes installed on my work computer and I am not allowed to add any apps to my work computer without the consent of my supervisor. The chances of getting iTunes installed on my Dell at work are pretty much nil. Any suggestions on how I can fix the problem?

I bought a new USB dock connector and hoped, with fingers and toes crossed, that something positive would happen. Sure enough, I was able to sync and recharge my old iPod nano. I guess the original USB dock cable is on its last legs. Not totally broken, but no longer reliable. I consider my problem solved! After syncing and updating my iphone my iCalendar on my computer lost most of my information. Including wiping out an entire calendar group. When trying to readd the calendar group it won't let me add events to my calendar under that category.

hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

I have my iTunes settings to prevent my iPod from synching automatically.
Open iTunes (without the iPod Touch connected) , go to "iTunes"--->"Preferences"--->"Devices", select the box that says "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from synching automatically", select "OK".
I would then close iTunes and then reopen it. Verify that the settings you just changed are intact.
Log into the iTunes store and update any Apps that you may have purchased.
Connect the iPod Touch via USB with iTunes open. You will see the icon on the left side under "Devices" as normal, however it will not automatically sync.
Click on the "Device" in iTunes and from there you can manually adjust all the items you want to sync and then select sync when you are ready.
I sync mine this way because I feel it gives me more control over the syncing process. Also, I always log into the iTunes store first, check for updates to my Apps and then connect the iPod to manually sync.
So, to me, I guess that perhaps is a way to "force" the sync but in a controlled manner.

Iphone will sync with one and only one cpomptuer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content and replace with content from the new computer. This is the design of the iphone.
It will erase the content when you sync.
Why not update from the comptuer with which you normally sync?

See if you can reset the phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again.

I tryed to sync and update my Iphone 3GS to my macbook computer. In doing so, I think I pressed start as a new phone and now I dont have a phone please help!

Go to iTunes/Settings/Devices and see if there is still a backup from the time before you synced the phone.
If yes, use it to restore from: Backing Up, updating, and restoring your iPhone and iPod touch software
If you're running TimeMachine as well, restore the iTunes backup folder, located here:
The folder where your backup data are stored varies depending on the computer's operating system. Make sure the backup folder is included in your periodic data-backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:

Ipon nano 3rd generation red. Sync and storage problems.

I have just got the new iPod nano (product red) 8 GB capacity. When i started to sync with my Intel Macbook i got suprised with a sync and storage problem. It starts syncing and suddendly it stops and lock the iPod and the Itunes. The must surprising is that happens every time the storage capacity reaches about 300 mb of music. Does anybody got this kinf of problem?
I have tried all the solutions I have found: formatting the iPod, connecting on a PC, restoring the factory settings and nothing works.

You'll want to copy what is currently on the Nano to your iTunes library on the laptop. Your iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time. See this older post from another forum member Zevoneer covering the different methods and software available to assist you with the task of copying content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

No. You must use a computer to sync and update both devices via iTunes on the computer. The iPad2 cannot replace the laptop for syncing purposes.

1) authorize iTunes on your wife's user account for her iTunes store account(s)
2) connect the device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPhone but, since you transferred her purchases in the previous step, your content will be in her library and you can re-populate the iPhone with it.

Yes if does seem as though too many users are experiencing these issues. I don't know if any of these steps will help you. At one time or another, all of these have worked for other users, so maybe one will work for you. You already tried changing the date ahead, so I didn't include that in my boilerplate response here - which you can probably find 20 times on the iPad discussion site by now.
I don't know if you have seen this one yet....
Settings>Privacy>Location Services>System Services (swipe to the bottom of the page to find this)>Location Based iAds>Off.
If the downloads are stalled or "waiting" - try these suggestions.
Or this ...
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>iTunes & App Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again.
If all else fails, download the updates or the apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the content to your iPad.

Sync and Wifi problem (iphone 3G 3.0)

So I've been updated to 3.0 since launch day, and I've been having these problems.
First, when I plug my phone into my pc to sync, sometimes (more often than not) just disconnects and reconnects in a loop, and will do so until I unplug it. I've tried every port in my pc, and it still does it. I switched it to my laptop, and no problems. I've reinstalled itunes and the mobile device drivers, and can't think of what else I can do to fix it.
The other problem is that my phone won't stay on wifi when it is connected. It will continually switch on and off, and my browser and apps will tell me that I don't have a connection to the internet, even if I have 3g service while the wifi is disabled. Just started doing that with 3.0. I've reset my phone, powered on and off, and factory restored it twice. Not sure what else I can do, thanks!

Restored my phone again, still no change.
