App Tabs do not load on restart. "All of the App Tabs you have set when you close Firefox will open as App Tabs when you start Firefox again."
Use FF3 and taking a look at FF4. I set up some App Tabs. Close FF4. Open FF4. No App Tabs.
Any Help?
Are you clearing your recent history when you close Firefox?
Firefox stores App Tabs and tab group details in the same file that stores details of browsing sessions. Make sure that you have not set Firefox to delete browsing history. For details of the setting to check see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Clear+Recent+History

You restart Firefox and open a window, since you closed without app-tabs there are none so you just see a window with your home page.

I set the Ap Tabs but when I close and reopen they are not there. It just opens to my homepage tab again.

My first open tab, my home page on my.yahoo, doesn't get duplicated, but all the others do.
If you click "Use current pages" then all currently open tabs become multiple home pages.

Just installed v5 of Firefox over v4.1 to XP system, 2Gb memory. Reinstalled 2Java updates, Silverlight and adobe reader as recommended in post firefox installation window. Rebooted and tried to make the new AppTabs work to no avail.
I"m not sure what else you need. The new AppTabs are not working. When Firefox is closed, AppTabs do not reappear when it is reopened later. They were installed by right-click on open tab as instructed on your upgrade website. Tabs were for yMail, gMail, and iGoogle. I have not tried to pin any other apps or sites. Is there anything I can do to make this work, or is this a bug? App store purchase tab crash/not loading in iOS 6
Hi,
Since I updated to iOS 6 using my iPhone 4S the purchase feature on the updates tab in the App Store does not load or even let the App Store app crash and jump back to the home screen.
This occurs as well on wifi as well on 3G.
Anyone else encounter this issue?
Ps: I restored my phone on iOS 5 and reinstalled all apps from scratch one day before updating to iOS 6. So basically my iPhone was setup as new iPhone just before updating.I found that on my other account that has way less purchases the purchased tab does open on the exact same device.
It all seem to have something to do with how many items you bought.

Hope they fix it soon. The release of iTunes 11 was a small hope since the AppStore was updated there also. But nothing. I keep hoping, so far the comment in the iOS 5 keynote "We cut the wire you no longer need a PC" is not really doing it for me right now :D -

since upgrading my phone to 6.0.1, I'm using way too much data. I believe it's the podcast app that's not loading shows while I'm connected to wifi. I have the 3g turned off for podcasts??? also after a phone call or an alert it starts playing a podcast?
I've also had the same issues, after upgrading to IOS 6.0, the apps in my iPhone 4 were crashing and the battery life run out very fast.
The only solution worked for me was to remove all mail accounts (Exchange/Gmail) from my iPhone (in settings) and then add them back.
The crashing were stopped! also the battery was back to normal.
I found the solution by first looking at the crash logs (in IOS 6). you can find them at Settings -> General -> About (at the bottom of the About menu you will find the option that opens the logs).
There i saw many logs about Low Memory crash. 99% of the logs were pointed that the largest process (use the most memory) during the crashes is "dataaccessd".
I search in the web and found that this process is a deamon process that reponsible the Mail accounts (like Exchange/Gmail) and contancts list.
I've installed the app "System Status - activity monitor" which shows important system info like CPU usage, Memory usage and running processes.
Before apply my solution (deleting the mail accounts) i saw that the CPU usage was very high which consume the battery very fast. Also i saw that the memory (RAM) was run out.. which probably what cause the crashing..
After deleting the mail accounts (at Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars) i check again with the System Status app, and saw that the memory and CPU were back to normal.
Adding the mail accounts back, still everything work ok

How to delete an Update for an App that is not loaded on phone?
I have an App Update for an application that is not (and has never been - to my knowledge) loaded on my phone!
How do I get rid of this update?
OR should I install it, or try to install and then delete the App. (if it loads).
This update does NOT show on iTunes site when the phone is connected. (not sure if it would show updates anyway).
It's a casino games application - so if I install and delete will I get inundated with unwanted gaming Apps?
And why should I get an update for an App that is not loaded - is this a software glitch, or just speculation by the writers to get some money????

What has happened...when starting in bootcamp, windows does not load. It goes to the restart in safe/safe with networking/normal mode. When I choose any of these windows screen comes up and the lttle blue balls start to roll. then screen goes blank as if windows is to start but goes back to the resrat in safe/etcmode. Help...
Did you burn the DVD from ISO?
Did Windows get fully installed & updated? added Apple Boot Camp after?
If you still don't have 10.6, you won't have Boot Camp 3.x drivers (and later) for Windows 7.
How large a partition did you create?
How long if at all was it working normally?

Facebook is not loading properly and all my text and images are lined up along the right side of the page. How can this get fixed to the way it use to look?
Everyone who logs into Facebook on my Firefox has this problem however if we use Internet Explorer - facebook looks normal.If you have increased the minimum font size then try the default setting "none" as a high value can cause issues like you described.

I believe your issue comes from a slight misunderstanding... It's not your fault, of course, Firefox should be clearer in this aspect, but I should be able to clear the misunderstanding and make sure you know what's going on.
The "when i open a link in a new tab, switch to it immediately" option only applies to tabs open deliberately in a new a tab. For example, when you middle-click (click your mouse's scroll wheel) a link (or use the appropriate contextual menu entry). It doesn't apply to links that are set by the site to open in a new tab. This is normal standard behavior, and isn't likely to change any time soon, but there are multiple things you can do so it doesn't bother you.
For example, you can middle-click (or use the appropriate contextual menu entry) the links you want to open on a new tab, instead of right-clicking them and have them open in a new tab only if the site has instructed your browser to do so. You can also go into ''Tools > Options > Tabs > Open links that open in a new window in:'' and select "Current tab", so the links that are instructed by the website to open in a new window/tab, are open in the same tab, and so you have complete control of where each link opens. This setting, however, is known to cause some trouble in some websites that are pop-up-heavy, so use this with caution.

My app store does not load the featured apps. The screen remains empty everytime I open it.
Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Links that launch a new tab do not load
I have the "open new windows in a new tab instead" option enabled but whenever I click on a link outside of the browser (e.g., in an email) a new tab is opened and the URL appears in the address bar. However, the page does not load. If I click on the address bar and hit enter it loads properly.
If I uncheck the above option, the links load in a new window properly.
In FF3, the links opened a new tab and loaded the page.
Is there a way to get FF4 to open a new tab and load the page?This site is the culprit for me every time I try to visit my granddaughter's website..... this thing pops up even when I tell Firefox to block them, and not allow any cookies.... firefox cleans out my request and it pops up again. That's a major bug in my book.
