App to display music info

Hello,
I'm looking for an app (if it exists) that could display the "get info" information from my iTunes music. I have a lot of Jazz and I always add the personnel of recordings in the comment sections of the metadata; it would be nice to be able to see the information while listening to music on my iPod.

Such an app is, at the moment, unfortunately impossible, since Apple does not allow other apps to access the music app, so unless that changes, Anna's suggestion might work.

How can I display more info using remote app?

Hi there,
I use remote app a lot, but I find it quite basic in the display features.
I mean: remote is great to browse my music library and play songs with on my living room hi-fi while I'm sitting comfortable on my sofa.
But what if I would like to know the release date of the album, the name of the composer, and so on?
Is there any way to configure the remote app to display more?
Is any kind of new release of the app on its way?

Command (right) - click on a photo in the Photo tray and select Small Photo from the contextual menu:
This will give you two columns of photos.
To reduce the number of photos to select from one can select only Unplaced Photos to be displayed in the tray.

Z3 C Walkman Download Music Info - nothing downloads! App just prepares then crashes...

'Download music info' is initiated to update my music, but the download never actually goes past preparing and the app crashes 100% of the time.

Walkman/ Music App does not retain downloaded music info

Whenever I download and replace the default music info in my music app, after sometime the data gets reverted back to the default one.My device is currently on lollipop, the problem occured in Kitkat too cure

Does the App titled Free Music Download tie into your iTunes account info?

My daughter has the App titled Free Music Download -
I want to know if anyone else knows if the app ties into the iTune account info?
we noticed that there are numerous iTunes charges that appear to correlate to her downloads from this App?
anyone have similiar experience or know anything about entering your iTunes account when setting up this App?

I don't see anything in the app that indicated that it has in-app purchasing, so I can only guess that the charges are coincidental, perhaps in-app purchases from another app. Sign into your daughter's iTunes Store account and look at her purchase history. That should tell you what the charges are for:

I think that we all know the answer to this one.
Unfortunatley the device is concidered damaged by water. Apple can do an out of warranty repair which would cost $199. Generally they would just replace the device in this case for the $199.
The alternative is to Purchase a new device.

If the carrier blocked it, that just means the SIM card in it can't be used to make calls or access the data network.
A 4 digit passcode can obviously be broken. How easily depends on the code you used and whether the thief knows anything about you. In all likelihood, the thief couldn't care less about your data. They want the phone, which has real monetary value.
Next time, turn on Find my iPhone.

Xperia Z1 Walkman app Music info

Hi, so I put my SD card into the phone with lots of music, and I found this "cool" feature called Music info so I gave it a try, updated about 1000 tracks and now it is all so disorganized I cant even find anything. Is there any way I could delete the downloaded info?

Thank you for your answer. This is the first thing I did, however it didn´t work. For some reason it kept all the music updated. For example, if there are more Artists on the Album, in Walkman I have all of them instead of one, even when its featuring. Have Random Access Memories from Daft Punk, under "D" I have Daft Punk, Daft Punk feat. Giorgio Moroder, Daft Punk feat. this and this etc. And you can imagine how it looks when all tracks are done with different people.
Also, Albums are split as well, I have all Discography of Muse, including SPs and EPs, most of them are split into two or more albums now..? Actually instead of 27 there are 38 albums...
I would try deleting the music and copying again on my SD card, nut I´m at work so no chance getting it done here, I just thought if there was another way.

I have OS10.5 and an iPhone5 how do I get my apps, photos and music?

I have an Intel iMac core duo with OS10.5.8 with iTunes 10.6.1. I have a 3GS which I recently upgraded to an iPhone5. I sync my 3GS and headed to the store to pick up my new phone. The AT&T guy hands me instructions which says I need to update my 3GS (iOS5) device before syncing the new iPhone5 (iOS6). iTunes would not let me update beyond 10.6.1. Apple, true to its word, I rec'd iOS update on Sep. 21st. So I turned on wifi and update my 3GS to iOS6. OK now my itunes does not recognize either phone because they are both iOS6. I never thought for a moment iTunes would not recognize my devices. Now I'm perplexed. I'm worried the answer is going to cost me more money.
I do have a wintel XP at my disposal which just downloaded iTunes7 onto, but of course, I have no previous backup stored. I can't figure out how to get my apps, photos and music onto my new iPhone. so, when I try to restore, it displays message that if I want to do this it will erase everything on my 3GS. Funny how itunes 7 is compatible with XP but not Leopard, but that is another discussion.

Upgrade iTunes on the Mac and the OS if required so that you have the correct version for syncing with iOS6.
Alternatively, you can copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the Mac to the PC and then you should be able to sync to the PC without issues.
You'll still need to create a backup on the PC to restore back to the iPhone5.
You can also try backing up the 3GS to iCloud and restoring the iPhone5 from that backup, but that will not restore or sync any media.

How to reset Gracenote 'Download Music Info' after it messed up

Hi, I recently started using the Walkman on my Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and used the 'Download Music Info' provided by Gracenote. I ticked the 'Replace Existing Information' box and after it downloaded all the album arts, it has also messed up the artist tags - for albums with more than one featuring artist, it has generated a separate entry in the Artists section for each one, so, for example, the artist previously listed as Clean Bandit, now has about 10 entries with Clean Bandit ft. Stylo G, Clean Bandit ft. Elisabeth Troy, etc. etc.
With a collection of several thousand songs by hundreds of artists it has made using the Walkman app impossible!
Is there any way to reset the mess Gracenote has caused? I've looked and the ID3 tags are intact, and I have also followed instructions from several other forums, suggesting deleting folders in Android/data/com.sonyericsson.music and other similar folders, and have literally wiped out every file and folder relating to music that was modified in the last 24 hours, from both internal storage and my microSD card. I've cleared data on Walkman and the Download Music Info app, disabled them and reenabled them and restarted countless times, all to no avail.
Surely there must be something that can be done to fix this other than hard resetting the phone?
I'm guessing there are residual files on the /system/ or /data/ partition that, if deleted, would fix this, but I don't want to root my phone to get access to them.
Is it worth trying to get Sony to release a patch or fix, or am I missing something that could fix it?

ITunes is showing music info in Hebrew

Hi, I'm new here and really want your help.
Earlier this evening, I was playing music on my iTunes, and when I opened it up, all of a sudden all the music info (Artists, Album, Genre, File Kind, etc) and the playlists were in Hebrew (the playlists are in English when highlighted, but the music does not change).

Does anyone know what caused it?
I have done a complete uninstall, but that didn't work.
I have restarted my iMac, but that didn't work.
I have deleted all duplicate fonts, but that didn't work.
Any ideas?

ITunes forgets "Always display song info" setting

I have a few computers, all running Windows XP, except one, which is running W2k Pro. When I'm working around the house, cleaning, whatever, I like just throwing on some music on, so I turn the visualizer on, with the "Always display song info" option enabled. My problem is that the XP computers keep the setting enabled over periods of time, while on my 2000 computer, iTunes seems to forget every once in a while (i'm trying to figure out if it forgets every time i restart the computer or what).
Any input would be extremely helpful.

Hmm, it looks like the 'always display song info' option is only with a single visualizer, the iTunes Classic Visualizer. Selecting any of tghe other built-in iTunes' visualizers greys out the 'Options' menu.

Settings > iTunes and App store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.
