App to manage Music, Movies, Podcasts?

I am looking for a simple app that runs on my Mac that allows me to create playlists of music, podcasts, and videos how I choose and have these playlist transfer to to my iPad and play.
In other words iTunes 10 for the iPad!!

If you every used iTunes, esp 10, but also 11, you can very easily create playlists " with a mix of music, podcasts, and videos." With those IOS 7 apps you recommend you cannot. If you try to do it with iTunes the playists do not make ot intact to iPad. I'm sorry you do not know that.

Here is what worked for me:
My usb hub, being usb2, was too fast. I moved the wire to a usb port directory on my pc. That is a usb1 port which is slow enough to run your snyc.

We have one Mac and multiple accts. How can I better organize our pictures, music and movies so everyone have access to all?

Well then it would be easier, place the libraries on an external HD that each user has access to. If you don't know how Apple explains in:

I recently heard about the new Microsoft Zune coming out this christmas season and dic=scovered from reviews that is is going to be a total failure. (It *****), so I am getting an ipod, buy when I download itunes onto my computer won't it take up a lot of space when I download a lot of movies, songs, etc.??? I need help on this issue, because I am wandering about the storage capacity of itunes, I am unfamiliar with itunes.

Your computer will run itunes, but you haven't told us how big your hard drive is. Simply open my computer and right click on your hard drive, then click properties. Any sized hard drive will work with an ipod, but if your HD is smaller than the size of the ipods, then you will only be able to sync what your computer can hold to the ipod.
It is impractical to sync movies to the ipod then delete them off the computer, but it could be done.

HT201322 when I follow these directions "5. Choose a content type by clicking Music, Movies, TV shows, Apps, or Books from the top." "Books" does not appear as an option for me.

Iphone 6 tells me that "Item not available" in my country UK, when i click on the itunes store icon for the app to open the music, movies or tv shows section of the app. is this a bug?

I am based in the UK and have just got a new iphone 6, everything works well except when i try to turn on the itunes store app - i can do a search and buy music etc that way, within the app, however, if i go to Music, Movies or the TV shows section within the Store app, i get a message come up saying "Item Not Available" - This item you've requested is not currently available in the UK Store, but it is available in the US store. Tap Change Store to view this item". I therefore cannot browse the music, movies or tv shows sections at all, nothing shows up except that message. All my previous itunes purchases have downloaded ok, and i can access them. My apple ID works fine and restrictions on the iphone are turned OFF. The App Store app works normally. Connection etc is all fine and I can access itunes in the normal way on my ipad and laptop, so this is just an iphone problem. Any ideas? is this a bug? I cant find anyone else with exactly the same problem. By the way, the same message comes up when i click on the red Music icon, on the iphone (situated next to the Safari icon) and then go to the "Store" via that app. my playlists are in tact, but as soon as i click that Store button, I am told that the Item is unavailable - not that i have chosen any Item lol, I just want to access the store in the normal way. How to unlink multiple devices but still share apps, music, movies, etc...?

Our family has 2 iPod Touch, an iPhone, a Nano and an iPad. They all use the same apple ID account, so that we can share some apps, music, movies, etc... and I'm not paying for duplicates. However, each time one person downloads an app to their device, it automatically adds it to the other devices as well.
I don't fully understand the "i" world. I know my son has an iCloud account for his iPhone. I don't know what I set up wrong.
How do we fix this problem?

I downloaded iStorybook for my 4 year old to our iPad, then it automatically added the app to the iPhone and iPod Touch
My husband downloaded an app to his iPod Touch and it automatically added it to my sons iPhone.

No, what I'm saying is that once you boot into OSX, you should be able to see both drives listed. If you don't then either OSX is hiding the other drive because it sees it as a boot drive and is trying to protect the contents from novice users or there's another problem. If it's the first thing (i.e. it's a protection thing), then your only option would be to boot into the old drive, copy off all your personal data to an external backup drive, then reboot into the SSD and go into Disk Utilities and wipe/reformat the second drive so that you can see it as a regular secondary drive. Then when you see it as that, you can copy your data back to it.
Be carefull poking around in Disk Utility as you can easily lose your data. It's possible the Mac just isn't mounting that second drive because it sees it as another boot drive. Whatever you do, don't accidentally erase it without getting a copy of your data off of it because you obviously don't have that on your SSD now.

Go to iTunea>Preferences>Devices and see if there is a backupright at the time you did the update. Then try restoring from that backup. If the apps are in your iTunes library, any app data will be restored to the iPod.
When restoring from an iOS 4 (or later) backup, if the device had a passcode set, iTunes will ask if you want to set a passcode (and remind you that you had protected your device with a passcode). iTunes will not ask you to set a passcode when restoring from iOS 3.x and prior backups.
Therefore, remembe the passcode that you enter this time.
It appears that if you restore from a backup, that backup is not subseqyently overwritten by the next backup.

I just turned on my iPod Touch and all my music has been wiped... (my iTunes was set to manually manage music, and all my apps are still on the iPod...).

What has happened and how do I get my music back? Obviously I have some of it on iTunes but others I don't have anymore... I can't understand how my music would suddenly disappear when my iPod has been working fine. My iTunes was set to manually manage music (and even if it hadn't been, then my iPod would have been synced to it anyway, so that can't explain why it's gone) and all my apps are there as usual. It's the version of the iPod touch before the camera was introduced. Please help!

That makes it difficult to provide any assistance. I hate to say this but you chose to manage the music yourself and there's no way that i/we can figure out what you did that caused the problem.
