App transfer / account merging?

My husband and I both have iPads, but are realizing it is a bit excessive to have 2 in the house. We are selling one and wanted to know if it's possible to transfer the purchased apps from one to the other?
We currently have separate iTunes accounts but are open to only using one account going forward. Any help advice is greatly appreciated.

Your best bet is to call iTunes support and ask them... No guarantees on their answer, but it's worth a try...

Problem with app store account

Awhile ago I was having problems logging into my app store account I couldn't log in. I requested my password be sent to me, but I never recieved the email so I went to make a new account. What I did was essentially make the exact same account I had previously, same email and password. But now when I go to update apps, it tells me my password is incorrect for any app that I downloaded before I changed my account. Any apps I've downloaded after this problem occurred update fine. Is there any way I can somehow transfer these other apps to my 'new' account so I'm able to update, or find a new way to update them? I tried updating them through my computer, but it says there are no updates, and I'd have to switch to my 'old' account to update the apps I had downloaded.

APP Store account sign in

When I go to the App Store a different (old) e-mail account shows up and I do not have the password. I cannot change to the current Apple account and as a result cannot use the App Store. How I can I get the App Store account updated to use?

Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID.
So you will need to recover the old Apple ID or delete the content and buy it again with the new Apple ID. Apple Account Security can help recover the old Apple ID.

Accounts merge on my new iPhone 5

Hi, I connected my new phone to my computer and my wife's iTunes account merged with mine. Now when I go to my app store it always ask me for her password. I have on my phone my apple id, and in the computer I'm login to my account. how can I fix this? now i have some apps on my phone that she download with her apple id, we have different apple ids, and we sync both iphones and ipads on the same computer. we have different credit cards on the apple ids. Why they merge? What Can I do?

This is how I fixed it on my new iPhone 5S. Using the standard yahoo setting on my phone.
You will have to access "managing your app passwords" on your account profile for yahoo. Generate password for your app. For example: "My iPhone 5S'
Go to your Iphone and set up your yahoo mail account on your phone the normal way and you have to use the generated password. instead of the yahoo account password.

Account Merge gives an error"Define realignment task"

Dear Gurus,
We have implemented BP CRM 2007(sup pack 2.0).
I have a problem in account merge. Initially the account merge was working but it never triggered
the batch job and so in the slave account no arciving indicator was set. Also I could never see any
batch job scheduled.
Then I applied the following notes:
Note 1229088 - Archiving flag not set after merging accounts
Note 1168481 - Account search result: Merge button active even if no auth.
Note 1233057 - Merge Accounts: missing error messages
Note 1233110 - Merge Accounts: dumpOBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED
Note 1146968 - Merge Accounts: Batch job does not transfer data
I am logging with standard SAP sales manager role & have given additional authjorization to create
task from action profile
Now its worse because I cannot even merge because I get an error message"Define a realignment task"
I hav done all settings as per Best practises & BP_Task action profile is assigned to task.
What step am I missing?

1) Install SAPKU60003 or SAPKU60004.
2) Setup Number Ranges
IMG->Cross-Aplication Components->SAP BP->Data Cleansing-> Maintaine Number Ranges
or
IMG->CRM->Master Data->BP->DQA->Maintaine Number Ranges
Create line 01-0000000001-9999999999
3) In Task (1003) add the action profile BP_TASK.
IMG->CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Define transaction types
4) Create job CRM_BUPA_REALIGNMENT (periodic job 5-10 min)

ps. additionaly, u can use SE16 for looking CRMM_BUPA_MERGE table.

I want to combine the apps from two separate app store accounts in to one of the accounts. how can I do this? What if I accidentally purchased an app twice on two separate accounts? Is it possible to get a refund?

As far as a refund goes, Apple's policy states, "all sales are final" > iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
But since it was an accidental purchase, you can at least ask for a refund.

After installing Mavericks on an imac, Mail would not sync with my Google Apps email account. After I clicked on All Mail the program crashed and now it crashes every time I open Mail. Does anyone have an suggestions?

Try setting up another admin user account to see if the same problem continues. If Back-to-My Mac is selected in System Preferences, the Guest account will not work. The intent is to see if it is specific to one account or a system wide problem. This account can be deleted later.
Isolating an issue by using another user account
If the problem is still there, try booting into the Safe Mode using your normal account. Disconnect all peripherals except those needed for the test. Shut down the computer and then power it back up. Immediately after hearing the startup chime, hold down the shift key and continue to hold it until the gray Apple icon and a progress bar appear. The boot up is significantly slower than normal. This will reset some caches, forces a directory check, and disables all startup and login items, among other things. When you reboot normally, the initial reboot may be slower than normal. If the system operates normally, there may be 3rd party applications which are causing a problem. Try deleting/disabling the third party applications after a restart by using the application un-installer. For each disable/delete, you will need to restart if you don't do them all at once.

Can I set my iCloud email as the outgoing mail server for my google apps email account in Mac Mail?

I have a google apps email account from an old client, all my work emails have been going to it for years. As I'm no longer affiliated with this client I'd like to make a transition to using my iCloud account for work. I asked people to use my iCloud address but as they've been using my google apps address for years it's what automatically comes up when they type my name.
I figure the easiest way to make a transition is if I reply to all the emails that arrive at my old address from my iCloud address and gradually they will start using my new address without realising it. But I can't find a simple way to do this.
In Mac Mail preferences > accounts > Google IMAP (my old account name) > Account information > Outgoing Mail server (SMTP) I'd like to set my iCloud SMTP server. But although my iCloud account uses its own outgoing mail server for its own account , it is not in the server list when I select my google account. I've tried to add it to the server list as smtp.mail.me.com but it caused my whole iCloud account to give me error messages until I force quit Mail...
Any ideas?

In iCloud/Mail, have you tried going to Preferences (select with gear at lower left)/Composing and setting a Send from address there?

How do I unsync an app store account?

I recently registered and setup an iPad for a friend. Recently, her apps have started to appear in my auto downloads and it wants me to update them. When the updates appear, it asks me for her password. I obviously don't have it, so I hit cancel. Then it pops up my app store account and asks me to update my apps. It always does successfuly, but it still keeps her apps unupdated.
Basically, I just want to remove her apps and her account from my iPad altogether. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

u just have to reset all settings and then setup ur ipad with ur apple id
settings>general>reset> reset all settings
and it will restart with a fresh setup u won't loose any data or media

I want to set up an app store account without a credit card

i want to set up an app store account without a credit card and it shows on the help site online an option to set up with none but on my phone it only shows visa mastercard and amex i already updated the software to the 5.0.1

i tried those steps on my phone before creating an account

you can't from the iPad.
Go to iTunes on a computer, log in with your apple ID and select 'account'.
After that , select 'payment method' and select 'none'.
