how do i get all my current apps on my ipod touch onto itunes and how do i get all the apps in itunes (on my pc) onto my ipod without it wiping every app off??

File>Transfer Purchases
This will get the apps from ipod to itunes.

IPhone 3GS to iPhone 4 - music and apps transfer

Could anyone help me out with this one - I can't seem to find the answer to this within the forum.
I have an iPhone 3GS and will be purchasing an iPhone 4. The issue I have is that my current 3GS was originally synced to my work PC laptop. For some reason I have been unable to access iTunes through my work laptop due to one of the servers linking to it going down (my IT dept have been no help). So, I have purchased music and apps directly from my 3GS.
My question is, if I activate my iPhone 4 on a home Mac, what do I need to do to ensure all of my purchased apps / music from my 3GS will upload to my new iPhone 4? Do I just need to sync my 3GS to the home Mac and open my iTunes?
Also - does it matter anymore if my 3GS was activated with a PC and then get synced with a Mac?
I appreciate anyone's help on this.

Is it just a case of sycning my 3GS to the home Mac iTunes and then

Connect the iPhone 3GS to the home computer and choose Transfer Purchases from the dialog box which appears or the File menu in iTunes. Once the content is in the iTunes library, sync the iPhone 4.
Don't sync the iPhone 3GS until the content is in iTunes.

All my songs and videos gone after app transfer to my laptop (iOS 5.0)

All my songs (about 1800 songs/12GB) and videos (10gb) have disappeared while two of my apps, Asphalt 6 and Real Racing 2 were being transferred from my iPod to my laptop. I guess they were being transferred since they have been updated and I haven't synced my ipod into my laptop for a while. But today while it was trasferring, it said that I'm running out of storage continuously and later on I saw that the transfer was done, but my songs and videos were gone! And my last backup was like when the iOS first came out, so it would mean nothing to restore from backup right now.
I can see all of the songs and videos that were on the iPod still on iTunes, but when i click on them, it shows the exclamation mark which means that they have been disappeared or something... Any help please?

The storage space taken up by "Other" can be made up of, notes or files of any kind you've added to the iPod whilst using it as a hard disk or album artwork. Or sometimes when the iPod data base has become corrupt.
There will always be a few MBs of used space under "other" but if it's in GBs it's unusually large. This often happens when the iPod data base becomes corrupt.
If the iPod is enabled for disk use, you can look at the folders on the iPod through Explorer or Finder (on a Mac) and delete anything you don't want.
If it's a corruption of the iPod database (as seems likely here) it will probably need to be restored, see how to restore the iPod to factory settings which will erase the iPods contents and reclaim the used space.
Then reload the music from iTunes.

It sounds like you have purchases that ere puchased with more than one iTunes account. The computer has to be authorized for all of the iTunes accounts that purchased the items. In iTunes click on the Store tab and authorize the computer will all the accounts.

i downloaded an app on my iphone, and synced to my laptop but the app did not come over to the laptop. when i go to the app store on my laptop I cant even find the app to download it...?????

You seem confused with how things work.
Apps for iOS devices are sold in the iTunes App Store and are available through the iTunes app on your computer, as well as the Apps app on your iOS devices. The Mac App Store sells apps for Mac computers. Apps for Macs cannot be used on iOS devices and apps for iOS devices cannot be used on Macs.
Syncing does not transfer apps that you have bought on your iOS device to the iTunes content libraries. You must transfer purchases to do that. Right click on the name of the iOS device in the devices list in the iTunes app or go to the File pulldown menu in the iTunes app and choose to Transfer purchases.

Yes, if you set up the new phone to the same Apple ID and iTunes account you used to purchase the apps. Your content is tied to your account and Apple ID, not the device.
The easiest thing to do is to back up the old phone before you sell it. When you first connect the new phone to iTunes, choose to restore from backup. You new phone will be nearly the same as your old phone (it may not put everything on there perfectly - I've had some folders messed up and had to re-organize some apps, but nothing really major).

OS7 To OS10 Apps Transfer

It has come to light that the transfer of purchase applications that are held on my on my Torch OS7 are not compatible with my Z10 OS10.
Many of the applications I have, are rather important ones, such as bank accounts from Barclays Pinget or Mobile Banking and Lloyds, Mobile Security from Kaspersky, RecycleBin, TuneIn Radio Pro and so forth.
Will the the owners, which many are third party associates to these applications be directed to adjust their applications to be compatible with our BB OS10s and will they be set to look for their clients and send any updates either direct through or BB App World or our arranged email addresses or will the customer/clients have to seek refunds for these incompatible applications.
I have already had a few apps which have claimed to do a feature and it has not worked at all which I have purchased and as many times as I uninstall and re-install, the app may only work once or twice but in contacting the supplier, they seem to have just disappeared into the horizon with no chance of a reply even to say no they cannot help.
I am hoping that someone can direct me concerning these matters, please.

There's really very little (translation: nothing) that can be done about the situation of apps not being updated for BB10. It's up to each individual app developer to update the respective apps for compatibility with the new platform. Many developers have jumped onboard while others are taking the "we'll wait and see how BB10 does first" approach.
Other than contact each app developer individually and request a BB10 update, there's nothing else you can do or we can suggest to you.

My husband and I both have iPads, but are realizing it is a bit excessive to have 2 in the house. We are selling one and wanted to know if it's possible to transfer the purchased apps from one to the other?
