App update screen blank
My App Store says I have two updates available but update screen is blank. Anyone running into this?
Many people are having this problem for the last couple of days. this is a problem that Apple has to fix.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this is a workaround - for the time being.
If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
1. Go to App Store
2. Select Purchased
3. Select All
4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
5. Select update on the Apps
This should update the Apps and get rid of the update count in App Store.

HT4461 iPad shows 14 app updates but app update screen blank
My app icon shows 14 updates available, but when I go to the Updates tab of the App Store the screen is blank gray and won't load the updates.
I have signed out/signed in, restarted the iPad, connected to my computer and nothing works.
That little red 14 is driving me crazy.
Help.Never mind.....although I searched numerous times, similar topics came up only after I posted this and I can't find a way to delete this post.

I can no longer update my apps on my IPhone 4 because I have a new e-mail account. When I try to update with my Apple ID the e-mail that shows up on the screen is my old e-mail address and since I once shared that with another person I no longer know the Apple ID for that particular e-mail.
How do I change the old e-mail address and keep it from showing up on my apps update screen? I have deleted the old e-mail account from my phone.

My app store says that I need updates on some apps, but the screen is just white on the update page. The same is true with my wife's also. They are iPad3s.
I had this problem
I hit the power button and the round button at the same time and held it until it rebooted
You get the black screen and the apple logo
When that was done I want to the app and update screen and I was able to update my apps
I suggest when you update stay on that screen until they all update
I find it sometimes get stuck updating when I leave the screen as they are updating and do other things, but I could be wrong. It just seems to me that is when it happens.
The reboot works and don't worry you don't lose anything when u reboot it's like shutting down a computer and powering it back up. Everything you had before will still be there. -
Why doesn't my app update screen open?
I have updates to be installed and why won't the update screen?
The update server is down; try this temporary workaround
App Store>Purchased>Select "All"
Note: Look out for apps that have the word "Update"

What is strange is that my wife's iPad is doing the same thing. There have been numerous reports on the forum today regarding this issue. It seems to be an issue at Apple, but no information has been posted on the status site.

I posted this issue a couple of days ago but I am still having the same problem. I have tried everything including a hard reboot. Apple System Status has not reflected any problems. Is anyone else having problems?

For some reason I can go into the App Store on my ipad2 but then when I touch the update tab nothing appears on the screen. I see the number indicating I have updates available but since I can't see anything I can't update. Anyone know whats wrong or what I should do?
Just found a similar question and the reboot of the iPad has fixed the problem and the app is back :)

How Do I Clear the app download screen
How do I clear the app update screen after I have updated the apps.
TThe apps do not delete. Apple has not programmed this I to the system. Keep on letting them know that this clutter is not necessary. Everyone was used to the old system, update and disappear when done. I do not like the clutter myself. Keep on asking apple to fix this.

My ipad is saying I have app updates to install, but won't allow me to update. The update screen is blank. Any ideas on how to fix?
There are a number of other threads from people reporting a problem with a blank Updates tab in the App Store app - it looks like there is a problem at Apple's end which they need to fix.
Some posts are suggesting that you if you go into the Purchased tab in the App Store app you might be able to update the apps from there, though you will need to scroll through the list to find those with updates and individually update them.
