App updates keep asking for password
Been notified of App updates and it keeps asking for my password. When password is entered it will not update. Can anyone help?
Does it reject the password? Just what ahappens when you enter the password?

When trying to download Apps, ipad keeps asking for password. Correct password given but has no effect and box requesting password input appears again.
Try downloading something in the iTunes app on the iPad and see if that gets you out of the password loop that you are stuck in.

My apps will not update, keeps asking for password
I am trying to go on and update my apps. It did not recognize my password, I reset my password and updating my system to the iOS 7, once it had restarted I went back to my apps it prompted me to enter my password. I did, and the update circles but does nothing then says update again. I don't know what else to do. Help!

The steps below can help get your iCloud account updated on your device.
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Go to Settings > iCloud. Complete these steps only if the Find My [Device] setting is turned on:
Scroll down and tap Delete Account, then tap Delete to confirm.
Tap “Keep on My [Device]” or “Delete from My [Device].” In either case, your data remains in iCloud and will be updated on your device when you sign in to iCloud again.
Enter the password for your previous Apple ID.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Return to Settings > iCloud and sign in with your new Apple ID.

ITunes and App Store keep asking for password.
If I log into the Mac App Store or iTunes to purchase an app/song I get prompted for a username and password, as expected; but then it just keeps asking. If I type in a purposly wrong password it will tell me it's wrong, but when I put in the correct one it seems to take it but the dialog just pops up again. This occurs on my MacBook Pro, my iMac and my MacPro. This also happens if I try to 'view account'. Every now and again I will break through this loop and see my account details, but if I try to change something, say my purchase methode, I get 'session timed out'.
I can log into the website just fine, I know the password is good.
Any ideas?I'm having a similar problem. When I open iTunes I kept getting a "We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the Itunes Store at this time. Please try again later." error message. I also couldn't update my apps. I was able to stop the messages by signing out. Unfortuantely, I can't sign in now. I don't get an incorrect password message, though. Instead I get the same error message.
I then I tried updating my apps on my iPod Touch but then I get a "Cannot connect to the iTunes Store" error message.
So, like you I think the problem is on their end. Hopefully, it's just a temporary glitch. I'm going to go my favorite coffee shop and see if I can download there.

My new Iphone 6 won't download from itunes, whether it is a new purchase, previous purchase or update. Itunes keeps asking for password. Icloud seems to be working, find my phone works, so what do I do? I've signed out and back in to the app store. Restarted my phone. Ugh!!

Press on the app until is says "Paused"
Then, click it again. It will download. Just wait, then delete it. -
Cannot do updates keeps asking for Apple ID after putting your password in it keeps telling you your Apple ID is incorrect even after reset new password.
Did you go to Settings>iTunes and App Store and sign out and then sign in with the new password?

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

As above guys, phone keeps asking for password to previous i.d but neither old or new password will give me access to i tunes/ apps etc any ideas??

If you have changed your AppleID information or password, you will need to sign out of your existing iCloud or iTunes Store accounts and sign back in with the new information.

Trying to buy, download songs on iTunes and keeps asking for password for the account. Entering the password correctly but it keeps asking for password. Have downloaded hundreds of songs before, first time this has happend. Why?

There are a couple things that you can try to resolve this issue. First, I would recommend processing any updates needed to the computer and iTunes. You can check for updates in iTunes by selecting the help menu and check for updates. If iTunes is on the current version, see the article below.

I have few users who add sharepoint site to Outlook client. When they tried to access sharepoint site thru outlook, it keeping prompt for credential, even though

Phone keeps asking for password on an Apple ID I never created. On my sons phone, it keeps asking for his password for a supposed Apple ID I NEVER CREATED! I've tried every combination of passwords I can imagine and every route I can think of. It won't let me delete the account until I can sign in with that password. Somehow, the find my iPhone has created a loop that won't let me do anything after loading ios7. It won't even let me delete all contents or settings without the password! When I ask for it to reset my password, no email comes.... I don't know what to do! Please help

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out of the account from your iOS device first, then sign back using your updated details. (Settings > store, scroll down and tap your ID) -
Mail keeps asking for passwords; incoming server in iCloud is dimmed, not available
Mail on all accounts (iCloud, gmail and comcast) keeps asking for passwords; many Internet sites that used to be filled in from Safari are blank and require password. In Mail accounts, the incoming server for MobileMe/iCloud is dimmed. I can check mail on the Internet but it's kinda handy to have it delivered to the iMac. What's up?

I changed my apple id, but now in apps store when asked for password, it listed my original apple id which password will not work. How to get apps store to recognize changed apple id?
f you updated your existing account then try logging out of it on the device by tapping on the id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it. If you created a new account then any content that you purchased/downloaded via the old account will remain tied to that old account, and only that old account can download updates to its apps.
