App updates not down loading after clicking download all updates
Hi
My iTunes said I had 16 app updates to download, so I clicked download all updates and a waring message (saying along hte lines of some are ages restrictec) so I clicked ok again but the downloads didn't start. I've just upgraded to Lion too, would this be the cause? Yet if I click on the get updates under each individual app it will start the download.

What app are you trying to download? Is it iPhoto for iOS? What error message are you receiving? The first thing I would suggest is to log out of your iTunes Store account on your iPhone. Then restart the device and log in again.

If I have redeemed my my gift and the balance is updated in the App Store and I still can not down load apps...what could the issue be? I keep getting this error message "Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed". Then it refers me to apple support.

How can I find what apple ID I used to register my iMac when I first booted up? I am being told that by using this ID I will be able to go on to the App store and down load iPhoto at no cost. Is this true? My iMac does not have iPhoto resident on it now and I only purchased my new iMac in December 2012
Thanks....Launch Keychain Access and click on Login in the left hand pane and then on Passwords. Next do search for Apple in the search field at the top and click on Apple ID Authenicication in the list that comes up. That will give you the ID no. and password.

I have a Macbook Pro and an iMac, both with OXS 10.9.5 and no matter what I try both set of updates will not down load.
I have CS5 Extended on both computers. Neither one will down load the updates. Below is the message I keep getting. Any ideas?

Adobe Extension Manager CS5 5.0 UpdateThe Adobe auto updates were so unreliable before CS6, that they were useless. The Adobe updater team in India somewhat got their act together with CS6 and regressed back to their abysmal incompetence in CC and CC2014.
The reality is that you are going to have to locate, download and install any updates to CS5 yourself and apply them manually yourself.
Use Google and add "site:adobe.com" without the quotes to your keywords to restrict your searches to the Adobe website. -
i have an ipod 2 and i can not down load most apps on the appstore because it says that i need a higher software but then i go on to my imac computer to update my ipods software it says that it is the current soft ware for this device so i am stuck with IOS 4.2.1 witch dose nothing please help me.
The 2G iPod can only go as high as iOS 4.2.1. You have two choices:
- Live with not using the latest apps.
- Purchase a newer model iPod. -
I have an iPod 4s and I am trying to update to IOS 6.1.6. I keep trying to download but it will not allow me to click download and install. I have checked my storage and I have more than enough storage space available. Do you guys have any suggestions?
The only available, signed, iOS, for your iPod, is iOS 7.1. That's why you can't install iOS 6.1.6.

Also, my remote app on iphone will not play video from my imac onto apple tv?- it plays it on the imac but nothing on apple tv.The info posted on the Apple site is not 100% correct. A computer set up to sync will not also stream. It's one or the other. At least with the latest version of AppleTV. I found this out after an hour on the phone with Apple support.
And, the first computer has to sync, not stream (I believe). -

I tried again this morning. All I see is a white screen with the words "iTunes Store" in the center of it, in gray. When I click on store at the top, and then "Home", the top of the browser says "Accessing iTunes Store" with a progress meter that goes halfway, stops and then it turns into the black Apple logo. Same thing happens when I try to click on that little house icon.
Do you guys see album covers in there, or what? I downloaded the itunes software yesterday to my desktop AND laptop, and I am experiencing the same problem on BOTH computers. I am running Vista Home Premium, on DSL.
Oh, and thank you for the link to the troubleshooting for this--I am reading it now, trying to figure this out.
I finally figured out that I could access the iTunes store from my iPod (duh!!) last night, but I'd like to be able to do this on my PC too. So it's larger and easier to see. -

You should be able to play films on windows computers, if it wasn't compatible with it (e.g. you should have got an error if you tried to buy an HD film on non-HD compatible computer).
The current version of iTunes is 11.4 - you can see if there are any updates available via the Help > Check For Updates menu option.

What happens when you try to play the film, and do other videos that you have in your iTunes play ok ?

Do over on an apple imap account
I want to delete a me.com imap account and let mail recreate it from scratch. Question is the saved mail folder that is "on my mac" will that be deleted, when I delete the account? If it is I can copy it to a folder on the me.com web app first.
