App-V 5 SP2 - Error when clicking next after capturing changes in sequencer

I'm getting a strange error message when attempting to sequence an application using the App-V 5.0 SP2 sequencer. The application has a repackaged msi installer. After installing the msi and clicking 'next' after ticking 'I am finished installing software'
I receive an error from the sequencer. "An error was encountered while trying to prepare the package for saving. Please check the event log for more details."
Event viewer just logs an error under event ID 5006 "An attempt to prepare the package for saving failed (Error: 6629309790487068677)"
I've searched for this error and only come across a couple of similar threads which mention corrupt shortcuts may be the issue. The installer creates a folder in the start menu containing two shortcuts, I've deleted the folder before capture and get the
same error. Have tried applying hotfix 4 to the sequencer and get the same error.
I've tried to delete the folders in the file system created by the installer and registry keys respectively before capture just to narrow down what is causing it to fail but I get the error every time. The sequencer is working fine as I can capture another
application without issue.
Could anyone suggest what may be causing this problem? I'm stuck for what to try next.

I'm receiving the same error as Stewang. The machine I'm sequencing on is clean. I installed a couple pre-reqs (Java and .Net Framework) for the application on the VM and then I started the sequencing process.
The monitoring phase goes well, but at the point where the Feature Blocks can be created, the sequencer gives the error:
"An error was encountered while trying to prepare the package for saving. Please check the event log for more details."
In the eventlog I'm getting:
An attempt to prepare the package for saving failed (Insufficient system resources exist to complete the requested service.
This is not due to not using a clean VM or lack of system resources (enough disk space + 3GB RAM).
What can be the issue here?

Yeah I finally had to call Adobe and some there did a screen share with me and they took care of it. This sounds like a postback issue. Does your application handle postback by putting the report in session?
There is a [sample|http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2SP2/en/en/CrystalReports_dotNET_SDK/crsdk_samples_aspx/data/crsdk_net_tutorials_115_en.zip] to look at on our website. It was created with Crystal Reports XI R2 and Visual Studio .NET but the code will be the same.
A short pseudocode would be something like this:

Hi.. we are using Oracle9iAS 9.0.2.0.1, Sun Solaris 8.
Our problem is, after we finished installed the iAS, then open the Portal, and we tried to register a provider, we get these errors:
"You are not authorized to view this page"
"This component ID: 1068970504 has no existing versions - you need to create one first (WWV-01808)"
"Error : Failed to service the client. No further information available"
"Error: The XML parser encountered an Error, and could not complete the conversion for portlet id=6,343, it returned the following message: XML Parsing Error "
can anybody help?...Should we, after the installation, should install any patches?

When you boot from the install disk, before you proceed through the install screens, first go to the Installers menu, and choose Disk Utility. If the internal drive appears, select it and click Repair Disk. See if you get errors, and if Disk Utility is able to correct those errors. If the drive does not appear, you may have serious drive issues which another drive utility (such as DiskWarrior) may be able to correct, but it may be severe enough to necessitate replacing the drive.
Since you've already tried Erase and Install, can I assume you have a backup of any files you need? If not, if you have access to another Mac, can you restart the G5 in Firewire mode (restart with the T key held down) and connect it using a Firewire cable to your other Mac. If the G5's drive appears on the other Mac's desktop, copy across any files you need.

We have an end user that is trying to update through the creative cloud application. We have tried track down what is being blocked but have hit a dead end.
When the Creative Cloud Software tries to call out we are seeing a connection attempt to https://ops:443/ims/token/v1
I have researched and the only reference to IMS for Adobe I was able to locate was the IMSService. This appears to be an authentication service. The issue is that "ops" is not a valid domain.
This issue only appears to affect the Creative Cloud Software as I was able to update a test machine with Creative Cloud through the Adobe Application Manager.
The user's system and our test system are running OS X Yosemite

Unable to process your request when clicking next page button in web app

1) I'm using CR for VS v13 (13.0.2000.0)
2) .Net 2.0 in IIS6 compiled with TFSBuild on TFS2008
3) Issue ocurs when deployed on QA server
4) Database is SQL server 2005
5) Ado.Net passing data definition thru an xsd with a multiple tables dataset
6) Reports using en embeded query are ok. This happens only when we use data definition thru an xsd with a multiple tables dataset
7) Don't know yet (I will have a hard time convincing my boss to stay with CR if I have to redo my reports anyway...)
8) When using Fiddler, only "200" responses are returned. Thats when producing the page and also when clicking on the next page button
The detailed message also says: "The target '...' for the callback could not be found or did not implement ICallbackEventHandler. "

Sorry for this late reply.
I followed you advice and installed the SP1 (CRforVS_13_0_1). It did not solved the problem with the next page button but It did fixed some printing problem we also had.
The page where the problem occured was loading the Crystal Reports Viewer dynamically after or durring the page load.
After reading other posts loosely related to my problem, I changed my page to load the Crystal Reports Viewer statically in the .ascx. It solved the problem and we can now navigate in the report normally like before the update.

you can check it in the return codes of the function that caused the error.
Otherwise, it's a "communication error" - which could be just about everything that can cause a communication to break ,it needs EXCEL to read some info, but EXCEL is closed prematurely. So there is some kind of OLE or RPC communication going on in the background,which should not be interrupted.

Why do I get an error when clicking on topics in email?

I subscribe to the forum posts that I create and by doing so I get an email when the thread has been updated. The email contains a link to the message thread but when I click I got an Apple.com webpage saying "An error has occurred". Does anyone else have this problem? How do you fix it?

I'm getting the following error when selecting a table from the tree view then clicking on the data tab:
An error was encountered performing the requested operation:
ORA-00933: SQL command not properly ended

The exact same tables created from sqlplus for a different user in the same database work fine. Note, I'm not typing any SQL in myself. It would appear this happens on all tables created as this user. I cannot see any difference between permissions for this user and others which work but the failing user does have a "-" in the username and password which I'm suspicious of.
This is SQL Developer v 1.2.0 (build 29.98) (the most recent I believe, Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 and Linux ubuntu.

"-" is not allowed in identifiers and is almost certainly the cause of your problem. This can be got round by quoting i.e. using "STUPID-NAME" instead of STUPID-NAME.
I'm slightly surprised that SQLDeveloper doesn't quote the statement. Perhaps it quotes table names but not user names.
