App. with source distributions work on XP pro but dont work on XP home
Hello!
We built application and a number of source distributions driving from apllication. It works fine on PC with Windows XP professional, but return error when we try to run it on XP home edition. We test it on 6 PCs. How to use application on XP home?

Since you consistently cannot get this to work under XP Home, then clearly you must be using something in the OS that exists in XP Pro, but does not in XP Home. So, the question is what? You'd need to tell us more about what your application does in order to determine that.

Your iphone is right, it is not supported. The iphone's bluetooth protocols do not include file transfer, but are intendes only for headsets, stereo headphones, cars, and keyboards.

Funny, I was thinking you'd want to use the prescribed deployment that Apple went to all the trouble to provide so you wouldn't trot down the garden path with some other implementation, only to find your app rejected with the admonition to use Newsstand after all...

I suggest you start a new question that gives a good title to a specific problem. Then in the body of the thread describe the problem in detail, tell us what steps you have tried so far to correct the problem, what happened, and what error messages you received. -
Has anyone had problems with your iphone working outside of the house, but not inside? Cannot make or receive calls, nor can I send or receive any text messages. This is something that just happened out of nowhere. Can I get some help please?
Did you used to have service and now suddenly you don't?
This happened to me a few years back, and several other iPhone users in my neighborhood, and after a while on the phone with AT&T they figured out that a technician had recently adjusted the receiver/sender on the tower and it was slightly off. They sent them back up and I actually had a better signal after than I did before it went out.
I would call AT&T and explain the issue you are having and see if they can fix it.
If you never had service there then like wjosten said it's probably just a bad zone.

May be you are installing the upgarde veriosn of the Acrobat X and hence it is asking for the Acrobat 7 serial number ., when you buy and install the upgarded veriosn then at the time of installation you have to enter the serail number of the product from which you have upgraded in this case it is Verison 7 , hence

If the music was purchased from iTunes. You may actually be able to re-download some or all of the audio using the latest iTunes.
Typically the first time you plug an iPod into iTunes. one of the first things it will offer to do is transfer the purchased music from iTunes Store back onto your computer.
But in both of these cases we're talking about the music you purchased from apple iTunes music store. -
I just bought a new MacBook Pro this summer and was all excited. But I'm very frustrated right now because I can't connect to any external monitors through VGA. My thunderbolt (DisplayPort Mini) to HDMI works just fine, but when I try with my other connector to go from Thunderbolt (DisplayPort Mini) to VGA, Nothing works. my screen goes blue and changes size like it recognized something but nothing is ever detected on the external moniter or projector. I'm not sure what is wrong but it's very frustrating. I'm just very depressed that it worked just fine with my 2-year-old MacBook Pro but isn't working now. I'm running OS X 10.8.2. I just upgraded yesterday from 10.8.1 but that upgrade did nothing to fix my problem. Can anyone help? Thanks
I am haveing this exact same issue. I have plugging in 3 monitors and tried two different VGA to mini displayport and nothing is working. I recently bought a Acer monitor and it work for an hour and now it back to doing the same thing.
When I plug the VGA adapter in to the monitor the monitor think its not connected to a computer then when disconnecting the VGA adapter the monitor thinks it is connected to a computer.
NEED SOME HELP!!! at the point of all my hair is pulled out.

Bug: Polymorphic vi icon removed during source distribution
I haven't been able to find this issue listed anywhere, but it may already be noted internally.
I found that when building a source distribution that contained polymophic vi's that the built poly's icon would be messed up.
It would have the "?" icon, but the vi was there and so was the icon image information. If I opened the built poly and opened the icon editor the image would be there. I could then accept and save changes.
The fix ended up being making sure that none of the pixals in the origianl poly icons were transparent. If I did this then the source distribution works correctly (polys have icons).
This is using LabVIEW 2012 SP1 F1 32-bit on Win7.Sorry it too so long to reply. A smaller build did not exibit the behavior. I am zipping up my entire project and will private message you the dropbox link.
It could have something to do with the VI's originally being from 2011 then converted to 2012 (some were probably even created in 2010 originally).

Using VI Server and Source Distribution on a cRIO breaks if there are bitfiles
Hello.
We have a project in LV 8.5 that runs on a 9014 cRIO. It uses some custom FPGA code to communicate with several modules. We are upgrading to LV 2010 SP1 and have run into a snag. Our plug in that loads the FPGA code does not load.
We use VI Server techniques to have a plug in architecture. The plug ins where distributed as executables or dlls, but they were used like LLBs. This is because back in 8.5 an exe or a dll was essentially a llb with some interface code tacked on.
Now in LV 2010 this is not an option. The contents of executables and dlls are not accesible with VI server Open Reference calls.
This leaves us two choices, Source Distribution and Packed Libraries. We are going with Source Distributions because our attempts to use packed libraries have failed. (I could explain, but frankly that is another issue.)
Source Distributions work for plugins that are not loading bitfiles to the FPGA. When the main code (our Framework) loads the plugin that would load the FPGA, it gets error 1003 at the Open VI Reference call. (This error says that the vi it is trying to open is broken.)
When we copy the plugin back from the cRIO and open it, the IDE looks for and cannot find the two bitfiles the VI uses. Presumably then, the RTE on the cRIO is failing to open the VI because it cannot find the bitfiles.
Various questions:
Do we need to copy the bitfiles over to the cRIO for the plugin to load, and if so, where? We already tried putting them in the LLB only to discover this is not allowed.
This is the second time we have tried to upgrade to 2010. Last time we did not have this problem, but other concerns pushed back the schedule and when we came back we decided to go with SP1. Does that make a difference? Or is there something crucial we did right the first time that we did not make proper notes on?

Slow down issue with Premiere CS4 on a Mac pro
I am having a similar slow down issue with Premiere CS4 on a Mac pro, but I don't have bloated prproj file size.
Here is what I am working with:
Mac Pro intel quad core 2.8ghz
OSX 10.6.7 Snow Leopard
6Gigs RAM
3TB storage between 4 drives, each drive with about 50% free space
I am editing a 10 minute HD video from avchd files. The edited video is very heavy in photoshop files with a variety of different fx including green screen. The system has slowed down to almost a standstill. Anytime I move the playcurser, or try to do any action, it displays the spinning top "thinking" icon and takes 15 seconds to several minutes to unfreeze. I am often forced to force quit and I have gotten unexpected quits several times. The program also freezes on startup frequently.
No other programs are running. When I export with media encoder, it took about 4 hours to complete. The last 4 or so photoshop images I added seemed to tip the program over the edge. It had been slowing down some, but those last few really dropped the processing speed. Before those additions, export took 30 min to 1hr.
I did delete the render files (did not check if the file size was bloated beforehand, oops) but it has not significantly affected my performance.Do you need all of those extra pixels in the stills? Are you panning the full 4976?
Two things to consider are that if you using, say a 1920 x 1080 Sequence Frame Size, you can only see that at any time, regardless of how large the images are in pixels. If there are extra pixels, i.e. the Pan is not using all 4976 pxls., I would Scale to just what you need in PS, prior to Import.
If you are doing any Scale in PrPro, its Scaling algorithms are not as efficient, as those in PS. [Note: CS5 and 5.5 are a major improvement on that statement.]
With many large stills (the max for CS4 is 4096 x 4096, if there ARE extra pixels, pushing those around will use up resources, and quickly. As a test, some years back, I was working on a "photo wall," and was using 4000 x 4000 images. The workstation had no issues with slowness, until I got to the 5th large still. By the 8th, the Project was too slow to edit. I had to wait for everything. Luckily, I have AE, and it handles large stills much more efficiently, and much differently, than PrPro. I just moved to an AE Comp, and completed the Project, finishing up n PrPro, after I Exported from AE.
Just something to think about. With Scaling in PrPro, this is one time, where bigger is not necessarily better.

I have a doubt, can we make iPhone apps with flash CS5?yes, you can but you can't use apples app store for your app without violating their tos.

I tried to airdrop Civilization V from a Macbook Pro with Mountain Lion to a Macbook Pro with Lion and it doesn't work. Other apps have but Civ V has not.
Likely because it's a not self contained and/or it's game and copy protected, so install it via the developers instructions instead, which likely means it will have ot be uninstalled off the first machine, the developer contacted for a new license key before installing on the newer machine.
If you want it on both machines, you will need to likely buy another license.
Most developers are fine with transfering license between machines, you have to contact them.
They just want to make sure it's only on one machine so they are not getting robbed. -
My App store doesn´t work under my user. Everything is ok if I start with a guest user. I have a Yosemite MacBook Pro. How can I solve this? Because I'm unable to open the App Store, Mail, Contacts and so on. Please can you help me.

Hi, I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro but cant get the mirroring function to work with Apple TV. I've got the most recent Software 10.7.5 but cant see the mirroring icon or turn this on. I'm able to mirror from my Ipad but not my Mac, any thoughts?

AirPlay Mirroring is supported on your Mac, but it needs OS X Mountain Lion (10.8). See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5404
You have two possibilities:
1. Make a backup, open App Store and purchase Mountain Lion to upgrade to this OS X. Then, you will find the AirPlay Mirroring icon at the top right of the display, on the menu bar, or on System Preferences > Displays.
2. Keep OS X Lion and use AirParrot > http://www.airparrot.com
Both options work properly, but I recommend AirPlay Mirroring as it doesn't need a third-party program
