Hi there, am really struggling here got. 9900 *and playbook,  and can't bridge devices nor can I download. Any apps?? Please help!

  • HELP!! I'm trying to purchase a gift for someone in app world and it won't work!!

    I received a gift request for an app in Blackberry App World and I am tryi g desperately to accept it but all I get is "please wait" it is driving me crazy. I was able to buy one once before and had the same problems but after deleting app world, rebooting a ton of ti.es and restalling app world I finally got it to work. There has to be an easier way...seriously rim! I have reinstalled app world 2x, rebooted at least 5x...tried everything I can think of including turning off Blackberry Protect but it still just says "please wait". I'm going mad can someone PLEASE help!!!!!!

    You didn't say what version your trial is. Is it 10.1?
    Right click on one of the clips and hit Reveal in Finder. Then select the clip it takes you to and open it in Quick Time . Hjt Command-i and post a screen shot of the Inspector info

  • HELP ME PLEASE - TROUBLES WITH BB APP WORLD AND CANNOT INSTALL APPLICATIO​NS

    Hi there,
    can anyone help me... I've been trying all day to try and download apps from my desktop to my BB Curve 8520. i was trying to download dexrex... so i select to download it, i get redirected to a page that asks me for my email and PW, I provide the info and am redirected to another page "blackberry app world setup" 
    step 1 states "You have installed the BlackBerry App World Browser Plug-in on this computer."
    Step 2 asks for me to connect my smartphone and select my device. I select the only PIN available that comes up. I am prompted for a Password and provide it.
    Step 3 states the following... "you have a version of blackberry app world that enables account creation"
    I click onto Next on the bottom left - and terms and conditions come up, i select "i agree"
    then this comes up from paypal....
    "Our records indicate that you have already paid for items in App World with a PayPal account. To transfer your paid items to your My World account and connect your PayPal account to your My World account, please click the button below to be taken to the PayPal site to validate your credentials."
    the only thing to click on really is the paypal ... and i get redirected to the blackberry ID sign in page and repeat all the same steps as above.
    Please help me!!!

    I've gone through the exact same process as you. Frustrating!!
    It's infuriating to get an error message that says "Blackberry App World cannot be downloaded from Blackberry App World."
    And it's downright SCARY to get the following message when you've NEVER used PayPal in your life:
    "Our records indicate that you have already paid for items in App World with a PayPal account. To transfer your paid items to your My World account and connect your PayPal account to your My World account, please click the button below to be taken to the PayPal site to validate your credentials."
    These are problems that just shouldn't be happening. Don't tell me I have a PayPal account when I do not.
    At this point I don't see a way to proceed without creating a PayPal account... is it the case that Blackberry App World is unusable without a PayPal Account?
    If there is a way to proceed without a PayPal account I would love to know what that is.
    If there is not, then why don't you just say, "You must create a PayPal Account to use BlackBerry App World"?
    Let me know which it is. Thanks.

  • Communication between app world and 9900

    I just got a 9900, when I try to connect to App World I get the message:
    "An error has occurred communicating with the BlackBerry World Web plug-in. Please restart your device and try again. If you have content protection enabled on your device, please disable it and try again."
    Tried turning off/on, that didn't help.  Can't figure out what "content protection" is, but I haven't enabled anything like that and I also can't find an option like that on the BB...so I'm stuck.  There's an app I really need to get...please help...

    First refer to this KB and follow those suggestion :
    KB29599 : AppWorld Web Plug-in Error appears when attempting to install applications from a computer
    If you already installed App World plugin then on your pc then  go to add or remove programms or unstall a program then delete or remove App world plugin , restart your pc then install fresh .
    However , always the best way to download application is Over the Air . 
    Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
    If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

  • All downloads, including Blackberry App World and What's App, fail on my 8520. Help?

    I had a new phone yesterday to replace a broken one. I have been uinable to download any apps properly, even Blackberry Protect and Blackberry App world failed and 'What's App' verification codes simply won't send. I had all this on my previous phone so can anyone help?

    Can you elaborate on the issue you are experiencing on your BlackBerry® Curve™ 8520 smartphone when trying to download applications?
    If you are getting any error messages, please provide those errors.
    Does your device have EDGE or edge? You need EDGE in capital letters to indicate your data plan has been transferred over to this device.

  • Problem With App World and E-mail

    First of all, hello to you all and congratulations on the fantastic community you guys have here.
    Now on to my questions.
    I got my Curve 8900 in June and immediately tried to download the BB AppWorld because it sounded pretty cool. However, it wouldn`t let me do so because it said my device wasn`t compatible with the AppWorld software. Granted, I only tried this from my computer, never from the BB. Well, in late July, I had to hop on a plane to South America, where I`ve been since then and will be until January. I installed the BB Software on my notebook at that point and once again, tried to install the AppWorld software. The message then changed to "Your device doesn`t meet the system requirements for the AppWorld software" or something along those lines. I have the latest Device Software, Desktop Software V. 4.7. I tried looking for answers on the RIM/Blackberry website, but found nothing (however, I feel I should mention that I gave up after the first 5-10 relevant hits on my searches), and I still want to have the AppWorld Software so I can use the Facebook App, perhaps a map application, and perhaps more of the plethora of apps I`m sure Blackberries have available to them.
    Second question. I`ve looked at trying to set up my phone with my e-mail account, but every time I`ve done so, I get one option; "Set up using Blackberry Enterprise Server". I am an individual who likes his Blackberry. I do not use it for business purposes, I do not want to buy the rights to use the Enterprise Server, I do not want go through any more complex hoops just to get my Hotmail inbox on my phone. Help, please!

    Try downloading App World directly onto the Blackberry by the Blackberry, and not via your Desktop / Laptop computer.
    On the Blackberry go to the Main Menu and then select the downloads folder to see if you already have App World in there ( The round Blackberry icon ).
    If not, open the Blackberry Internet Browser and go to : www.blackberry.com/appworld/download
    Follow the instructions there and you should be sorted

  • Deleted App World and Can't Get It Back; Bold 9930

    This started yesterday when my app world was constantly freezing trying to download an app. I read online to simply delete and reinstall the app world.
    Upon deleting it and attempting to reinstall I got the error message "Error: Invalid manifest or application descriptor.
    The "MIDlet-Name" attribute is missing."
    I have no idea what this means. Trying to look into it, reading through other peoples scenerios, I saw something that I thought would've maybe worked. Downgrading to OS 7.0.
    I tried doing this via Desktop Manager to no avail. I then looked into wiping the OS from the device and reinstalling. Which didn't work either and almost bricked my phone.
    I'm now back at OS 7.1 and still without the Blackberry World receiving the same error message.
    I've tried battery pulls several times, soft resets, hard resets, everything I can think of.
    H E L P M E P L E A S E!!! I love my Blackberry, but this is driving me to switch to another device.

  • I just downloaded Blackberry apps world and I get a constant hour glass

    Ever since I downloaded Blackberry apps world I have been getting a constant hour glass. I tried to uninstall the program but then even after the uninstall the hour glass stays on. Now my Blackberry 8330 is almost unusable. I don't recieve e-mail now, it is constantly freezing up on me. Does anyone know what I can do to restore it back to where it was before the download??

    I cannot find app world on my mobile torch 9800, also i cannot change the language and just typing in english. please help

    For AppWorld, there are dozens (hundreds?) of threads all over this site with your issue...and many different solutions depending on circumstances. I recommend that you review those existing threads to see if your solution already exists.
    For language, from your brief description, I cannot quite tell exactly what your issue is...but you should start with this KB:

  • App World and Facebook not working !!!

    After Updating the OS - My Facebook and AppWorld is not working giving the error ' You do not have sufficient wireless coverage or you connection to the wireless network is turned off ' - App World ........... " You are currently on a service plan that does not support his application . If you want to use this application , Please contact your service provider to Upgrade your Data Plan ' - Facebook ......... But my phone is connected to a working Wifi - Twitter App and Browser are working well

  • BlackBerry Curve 8520 - Error logging into App World and with Identity update

    Hi all I wonder if any of you can help me.  I tried several weeks back to do an automatic update for BB App World to upgrade to version 3.  Once I tried, i've never been able to log into App World since.  Here's what it tells me.
    A BlackBerry Identity update is needed.  Would you like to install in now?  Yes/No
    When I click YES..... it says BlackBerry Identity installation failed.  Please try again later.  (80003)

    Do you have a WiFi connection available?  If so, turn off your celluar radio and try doing the update with WiFi only.

  • Creative Cloud Apps, Photoshop and Bridge are not synced (connected)

    After installing Photoshop CC and Bridge CC, I cannot get the Bridge CC to open Photoshop CC, it opens Photoshop CS6. Also, Photoshop CC does not have any info or launch window to connect to Bridge CC, Does anyone have a fix? I am running Mac OSX 10.8.3. I repaired permissions, reinstalled Bridge, etc. Desperate to get back to work. Any help greatly appreciated.

    i bought blackberry z3 1 week ago, when i want to download apps from blackberry world its show a message that " AN ERROR OCCURED WHILE PROCESSING YOUR REQUEST "

    Now, please try this process.
    With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
    1) Register HRT
    KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
    Please wait for one "registration" message to pop up
    2) Reboot
    Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process. IF this fails, you can attempt a harsher method by holding down the up/down volume keys together until the device has fully shut down.
    See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    Hopefully that will get things going again for you.

  • Downloaded new app world and it will not open

    I downloaded the latest appworld it open once and will not open. I took the battery out to reboot the phone but nothing will help it still will not work. I have torch any feedback. Would be helpful

    Please delete the Blackberry Appworld from you Application Management and re download it by going to http://blackberry.com/appworld using your phone's browser.
