App world is showing up in my applications management but not on my actual blackberry
Hi I have a blackberry bold 9780, a few months ago when I received this phone from my parents it had a blackberry app world update. Ever since I tried updating it the blackberry app world is showing up in my applications management but not on my actual blackberry (if that makes sense). I have tried unistalling and reinstalling, taking battery out to reset. Is there anything I can do to get it back as its starting to annoy me now

New hard drive shows in Bios and device manager but not in windows explorer in windows 7
I have added a new sata 500gig hard drive and it is recognised in the bios, but is not recognised by windows explorer, though the disk is showing in device manager as a hard drive . I have followed the example on the forum by going to computer management and rescanning disks, to no avail.
Any ideas how I can get to use the drive?

RobThanks Dale (and everyone else). A cure! Sorry I did not reply earlier, but have been trying all known fixes to no avail... However. The second of your links in the last reply of yours (starting, New Drive or mapped network drive) worked with a slight variation in windows7, as follows is how I achieved joy.
Right-click My Computer , and then click Manage .
Under Computer Management (Local) , click Disk Management .
This far is as above, then I'll add comments to the existing help to show my variant.
In the list of drives in the right pane, right-click the new drive and then click Change Drive Letter and Path(s) .
Here it still did not show the drive in the right window, but below it there is a second window listing disks and one of them unallocated and without a drive letter was my new drive. IMPORTANT! This set of info may not be apparent unless you enlarge the box by dragging it, as the default only shows the top box (so I have missed it until now on all my searching). Right clicking on this gave a set of obvious choices to create a choice of drive letter, format and options (NTFS etc) and this created the drive for me. I am sorry I am vague on the box choices, but on right selecting a live drive it doesn't bring up the "unallocated" box choices again. Click Change , and in the drop-down box, select a drive letter for the new drive that is not assigned to a mapped network drive.
Click OK , and then click OK again. -
Why aren't all the products showing up in my application manager
I know there is probably a simple answer to this but for some reason not all of the CC products are showing up in my application manager. Here is a list of the products that I do have access to right now:
Photoshop
InDesign
Flash Pro
Fireworks
Muse
Audition
Prelude
Flash builder
Acrobat
Touch apps
Exchange PanelIf the applications are not appearing in the Adobe Application Manager then it is because your current computer does not meet the minimum system requirements. Question: I bought a 5 yr old Mac G5 OSx 10.4.11, 2 GHz intel Core 2 Duo processor, 1GB 667 MHz DDR1 SDRAM memory. It works fine but I can't get Thunderbird, Flash Player or Adobe reader to install -- it shows up on desktop as download but not App folder. Why?
The downloads are probably .dmg files (disk images). You would open the disk image (double-click it) to find the application or an installer. If it's the application itself, you then drag the application to your Applications folder to "install" it. If it's an installer, double-click the installer to run the installer that installs the application.
NOTE: If you iMac is Intel, it's not a PPC G5. -
I had purchased Imovie today I can find the icon movie it click it but it will not open. Its shows up in docs and purchased but not apps? how do i add it to my bar and open it?!
Exactly where are you clicking, you need to be specific. For example, are you using the Dock, the Applications folder, Launchpad, etc. to attempt to start teh app? Also IOS 7.1.2 does not run on a Mac, what version of OS X is installed on your computer?

Hi. I just wanted to update my 3 apps PS, Brigde and Indesign. After doing that I wasn't abble to open Brigde??? PS and Indesign works fine. Further more the Application Manager does not seem to register the updates I have made on Indesign and PS. I've purchased an app and it shows up in my iTunes. But when I download it to my phone, it disappears after its installed. Why is this?
Is the app checked in the Apps tab of iTunes? That's how you tell iTunes whether you want the app on your phone or not.
Otherwise, check the very last screen on the phone. -
Just re-installed a fresh copy of CS6 Photoshop on my Yosemite Mac Book Pro and somehow the Adobe Application Manager does not work and therefore cannot verify my copy. What should I do?
I get a message saying that Adobe Application Manager may be damaged and that I should install a new version of AAM. But after downloading a fresh copy of AAM and doing the install, the program (AAM) still will not install. It is like an infinite loop!

I'm sorry but I am not on Creative Cloud. I'm still on CS6 and it was the Adobe Application Manager that wasn't working and I could not install the update to this application. My AAM version is: 8.0.0160
The link you provided was the update that I wanted to install but it does not work. A window shows up during that install that says:
We've encountered the following issues.
Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem.
and then the link to the Adobe Support Advisor which leads to a "Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued" page.

When I down loaded some ring tones they show up in my Music folder but not in my ringtones?

Where did you download them from? Did you drag them from the Music folder to the Ringtones folder?
iOS devices use MPEG4 audio (AAC) for ringtones. Often these files end with .m4a, but the .m4r suffixe is generally used to denote a ringtone. iOS expects a ringtone to be less than 30 seconds in length and otherwise the only other restriction is that it's an AAC audio file.
You can make your own ringtones simply enough with any audio editing application on the Mac. Just create an MPEG4 audio stream, give it the suffice .m4r, and drag it into iTunes. -
Application Manager is not updating
Application manager is not updating and i keep getting an A12E5 error. I have also tried to install Creative Cloud app and i get error A12E6. I have a CC account and would like to start using the new software but i cannot install any of the managers to be able to access this. I am on OS 10.7.5. I have checked all my ethernet and internet connections with my IT and i am connected. Please can someone help with this as i am now quite frustrated with trying to figure out what the issue is and none of the forum threads appear to be woriking for me.
I have tried that solution and it doesn't work for me. Creative cloud desktop app is not installed on my machine as i cannot get the Adobe Application Manager to work which comes up with error A12E5.
Uninstall the Creative Cloud Desktop application.
Mac OS
Using Finder, navigate to /Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers/ and double-click Adobe Creative Cloud.
Follow the onscreen instructions.
i cannot do this as it is not on my machine. Issue appears to be Adobe Application Manager where it keeps telling me that it can't update and this is holding up the Creative cloud installation as well as all my CC updates. -
My application manager will not open
I can log into my creative cloud account, but cannot download After effects. Also my application manager will not open on my desktop.
Ricardo Oyarzabal do you receive any specific error messages when you try to open the Creative Cloud Desktop application? In addition if you are unable to open the Creative Cloud Desktop application how are you initiating the download and installation process for After Effects? Nothing wrong. AAM/ AUM is just being a pussy. Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, reinstall your apps, try again. also consider downloading upsdates manualyl from the Download section here on this site.

hey guyys .if some 1 from firefox team can help it wud be great......I was using firefox 3.6.3 on Mac OS 10.5.8 and Today I installed firefox 3.0(besides application folder) but not in same application folder like firefox 3.6.3 ...so now i had 2 firefox version 3.6.3 and 3.0....I had 3.6.3 already open ..i closed it to... open 3.0 ....when i opened 3.0 it asked me to import settings i said no....it opened well.....then i close 3.0 and tried to open 3.6.3 version ...now it was a problem everything got lost sessions, bookmarks, add ons, etc....it went back to default ....when i had 2 profiles in 3.6.3.....can any pls help me on dis 1...is there a way to restore my sessions, bookmarks and add ons ??? I have uninstalled 3.0 version now....??? pls pls pls ....help
