App world problem

I have a new BB Curve 9300 3G and when I try to start the App world it comes up with "error starting null: null" has any body ever had this and how do i fix it ? help me please !!

Hi,
What version of AppWorld are you currently using?
In the short term you can try clearing the AppWorld cache.
I would suggest you upgrade to the latest version before 4/8/2011.

    I recently updated BBM and after that Facebook and Blackberry APPs not working. Have upgraded the system software, but still no luck.

    Try connecting to App world after connecting your device to WiFi.
    Or else,
    There is an alternative for your problem to resolve.
    What you do is connect your BlackBerry Smartphone with USB cable to Internet enabled desktop/laptop.
    Go to the link mentioned below:
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/
    On top right  of the page there is a option "Sign In".
    Login with your BlackBerry ID and password.
    From here you can download all as you do it for Appworld.
    Hope this resolves your Problem!

    Hello everyone!
    I'm new around here and I registered solely and exclusively to help me I'm desperate! well I tell you my problem, I have a 9300 with virgin mobile plan but they only work with Opera Mini, well last week I desactualizo the whatsapp and try updating but the "App World" says that he also has to be updated. Obvious is the comment "And because it was downloaded over WiFi" ok my phone does not have wifi is damaged.
    So I need a solution that implies that it can be downloaded via USB is installed from the pc.
    Sorry if it is not understood but google translator is a severe **bleep**

    Oh and I forgot when I try to download to install the Web Plug-In fails me and not let me install it

    just go to the blackberry website and download the blackberry app world plugin...then connect the device and download the apps thru usb cable

  • Apps world problem

    When i try to get on the apps world it comes up with an error and i have had this problem before and i had to delete the apps world and start all over but it wont let me do that this time. when i try to get on my woorld it says "there is a issue with the current session. please login in to continue (error id: 30702)" what do i do??

    What you do is connect your BlackBerry Smartphone with USB cable to internet enabled desktop/laptop.

  • App world problems - stalling and error id 31203

    Can someone explain the error id 31203 for me please!!
    I have been unable to access app world. All other functions are fine. I have tried on several different networks and always the same. When I download a free app a green circle spins infinitly and with paid apps I get the message above
    My blackberry id is working fine. 
    I have tried from my pc and got an internal server error.
    I have tried hard restart, I have tried security wipe.
    None of this has helped.
    This is a new PlayBook and app world has never worked. 
    I have tried contacting blackberry support but they have refused to help, I bought my PlayBook in a UK store in Ireland and was told that the PlayBook should not be available in Ireland, my warranty is invalid and basically was advised to go away! I have spoken to other users in Ireland who have had no problems at all so the fact I am in Ireland doesn't seem to be it.
    At this point I am very frustrated and wondering can anyone help or should I go buy an iPad or galaxy tab?

  • Blackberry App world problem ?? please help me !!!

    Well , I've blackberry curve 9320 & when open app world it tells me to upgrade it ...... So I did what it wants . I clicked on upgrade & then it opened me the browser & then clicked on upgrade app world today ..... " Communication failure has occurred . The server may be busy . Try again later " ... This annoying message appears to me for 3 weeks trying to upgrade ... I did everything possible but it doesn't work .. I restarted the mobile for many times & I deleted a lot of applications such as facebook & twitter . I asked my sister who have the same mobile & the app world was upgraded easily on her mobile & finally I checked my network & contacted my service provider .... What can do more than that ????????

  • App world problems

    I have kept up to date on my 9810 with apps, however, there is a red star on my app icon and it will not allow me to download any new apps. It says "To continue using BlackBerry App World, you must upgrade your current version. For more information,  please visit www.blackberry.com/appworld/support". I have done this, I have checked my upgrades and they are all up to date. 
    What else can I do? I want some new apps

    Please try this sequence:
    1) Remove AppWorld from your BB
    KB10040 How to view or remove installed applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
    If it requests that you reboot the BB, do so
    2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot (power on, remove battery, wait, insert battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.
    3) Install (on your BB) a fresh copy of AppWorld
    http://blackberry.com/appworld/download
    Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
    4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
    5) See if it now works.

    In many cases the BlackBerry ID has not been created successfully and therefore will not let you past that screen.... go to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid and try to create a new BlackBerry ID , and then log in from the device.
    Still others have been sucessful by editing to allow ALL permissions for App World.
    * Go to Options/Settings > Advanced Options > Applications, (you will see your list of all your apps on your BlackBerry)
    * Sroll down to BlackBerry App World, > Click the Menu key > Edit Permissions, and change everything to allow and save it.
    Now go back to your App World login and see if it works.

  • Can't access blackberry app world- please help

    Hi Blackberry users, 
    I've just received my blackberry bold 9900 on ebay. Everything seems to be working fine.
    However, I can't seem to open the app world?
    I haven't put a simcard in yet, however, I am using my home Wi-Fi connection. 
    When I try to enter it, it says: 'You do not have sufficient wireless coverage or your connection to the wireless network is turned off'
    Can you please tell me how I can solve this? My internet connection is perfectly fine. I can use youtube and web browser on my blackberry as well. I also tried to access blackberry app world in my browser but when I came to downloading the app from the web browser, it asked me to turn on cookies, which I checked was already on.

    You have to have a BlackBerry data plan attached to your account in order to access this.  You'll have to give your carrier a ring so you can get it setup.

  • Problems with APP World

    Just got back into the Curve from a WM phone and I forgot how easy this phone is to use!!! Having a problem with App world though. I;m receiving an error message stating I'm unable to connect to the server. Anyone have any suggestions on how to rectify the problem? I'm sure it's a super easy fix and I'm just missing it online somewhere. Thanks!

    Here's a few steps I've recommended that have worked for some...
    There have been some issues with the AppWorld services lately...most are reported to be cleared up. Please try again. Also, please try removing and re-installing AppWorld...some have reported that to be helpful. In addition...RIM has released AppWorld version 1.1.0.15...it is highly recommended to be on that version.
    Also please try a hard reset: With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
    In addition, you can try this sequence:
    1) Remove AppWorld from your BB (Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Applications) -- if it requests that you reboot the BB, do so.
    2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot as described above.
    3) Get a new link and install a fresh copy of AppWorld

  • Login problems with app world. Error ID: 30207

    Hello,
    Every time I try to access my world or download an app in blackberry app world I get the following error message:
    There is an issue with the current session.
    Please login to continue.
    (Error Id: 30702)
    I have tried battery pulls. I have tried restoring earlier backups. I have tried reinstalling app world. I don't know what else to do. I tried calling my service provider but they told me they can't do anything and I should just make a new ID, but I would like to avoid doing that.
    Also, when I go to Device->Blackberry ID; I get the following message "Unable to update your BlackBerry ID account information" I don't know what to do about this problem. Someone please help me.

    I'm getting a message saying app world is not available in my country (canada).

    I have a curve 9300 using os 6 and the latest app world 2.1.1.. something
    when i try to download apps it initiates the download then after a couple of seconds after starting it shows the error message "there was a problem during installation. Please try again"
    i have tried ALL the suppourt forums (KB26671 and KB30074) and suggestions/threads and called my network but none have worked. 
    these were reinstallign app world, making a new blackberry id as the other email address was associated with an old blackberry, security wiping the phone then restoring it and entering the new bb id, changing the date to 2014 and then hard wiping the phone and restoring it
    i have twitter, facebook and bbm ect apps but these are RIM made i think and already preinstalled. everything else on the phone works fine
    i have tried both wifi and network internet and battery pull
    i really dont know what else to try or who else to contact to fix it. very annoying paying for a service you cant even use!
    any help or more ideas would be great!

    In this case i would recommend wiping the BlackBerry smartphone. To do this we would need to back up the BlackBerry smartphone http://bit.ly/aSediX
    Once backed up please follow the link below to perform a security wipe of your BlackBerry smartphone.

  • Serious problem with app world.

     when i download and install an app. it shows up "installation error 0003-0005: there is a problem during installation.please try again." i just want playbook1.0's appworld back.
    Appworld: too slow. When upgrade several apps at the same time, it just wont work. you can just upgrade one by one. i think it is due to appworld server or the connection.
    i think wifi connection has some problem with os 2.0

    I 'm having the very same problem 0003-0005 err app world
    Plus BB Id say's I need internet  connection .
    I have Internet on browser etc.
    I tried turning date to 2014  & 2015 many times no luck !
    Maybe I just need to register bb ID online again ??
