App world wont download on my curve 8520!!!!!!

my blackberyy curve 8520 will not let me downloads app world?
anyone know why ?

What happens when you try to download BlackBerry App World™ ? Are you getting an error message? Are you meeting the system requirements as listed below? 
BlackBerry App World 2.1 requires BlackBerry® Device Software v4.5 or higher. BlackBerry App World 3.1 requires BlackBerry® Device Software v5.0 or higher (Click "options", then "about" from your smartphone to check your version). Learn how to update your device software
A trackpad, trackball or touch screen
A service plan that includes access to the BlackBerry® Browser
View the list of countries in which BlackBerry App World is available

  • App World Wont Download!

    I have managed to delete app world off my phone by accident, due to my touch screen.
    I have tried many times to re-install the app world back onto my phone but every time the app down loads an "error" message appears and tells me it didn't work
    I have restarted by phone and tried to download the app world through my desktop manager.
    Any suggestions on what to do now?

  • App world wont CONNECT

     Ok so I got a Curve 8520 and for the first few months i could log into app world download updates etc. but then all of a sudden it tells me it is unable to validate email address and password combination. I have tried changing the password as well as opening new accounts but it tells me the same thing every time.

  • My App World Wont Update.

    Hi, everytime I decide to go on the app world via my blackberry curve 9300, a message pops up and tells my to follow the steps to update. I do it all but it always says error after all the steps are completed. I have also updated it via the PC but it seems the message is still there. Despite the version is up to date.
    Any ideas?

    I recommend that you uninstall the blackberry application world, Restarts your device, then proceed to install it on your Blackberry ...

  • App World Not Downloading

    I have a new Blackberry Bold 9930 - upgraded from a Curve.  I have a Blackberry ID and password.  When I click on App World, I see all the applications.  When I click on an app to dowload, I get a screen with a description and a download button.  When I click on download, I get a screen with Blackberry ID agreement.  I click on I accept and the same info screen appears with the download button.  Nothing downloads.  I have tried several different apps and none of them download.  Please help!!

    Delete the ID at the core menu at the options and restart the phone and go to app world and install it again and this will work

    I am trying to fix a curve 8520 for a friend; she has BBM set up and it works, but we can not access the app world.
    The error is "blackberry app world is not currently available in your country.  Please check blackberry.com/appworld for updates"  which I have done and updated, but the app still will not open.  Suggestions......

    as the error message suggests, it looks like Blackberry App World is not supported in their country. App World is only supported once all carriers who offer Blackberrys sign up to the agreement with RIM.   • App world wont load.

    Hello,
     I just bought a bb bold 9900 - 3 days ago. I have had blackberrys before so I know a bit about them. When I go to the blackberry app world button I and try to load an app it will come up with the agreement form and when I press agree it will go away but no app will download.
    When I go to my wold it will give me the agreement page when I scroll down to press agree the terms will go away but nothing else will happen. when I try to go on it again it does the same thing.
     I have deleted blackberry app world and than reinstalled it and it is still doing the same thing. Tried pulling out the battery still nothing...
    help !

  • Blackberry app world wont upgrade

    Hello, Kindly assist as i have been trying to upgrade my blackberry app world for days now. when i click on the icon , it takes me to the the homepage but when i click on upgrade today icon, i get sorry, your session has expired. please close all your browser windows. Apart from the page i am on, no other page is open.. I even tried going through by having the link sent to me via mail(if that could help) but i still got the same message. i will be grateful if i could get a quick response/solution to this problem. Thank you Oh by the way, my device is a storm 9530

    Can you try it again in this manner :
    On your device > Go to Options > Application > locate and delete any existing version of BlackBerry world from there.
    KB10040  :How to view or remove installed application on a blackberry smartphone
    Once you have deleted from there , reboot your device by removing the same while your device is Powered On , wait for a min. then reinsert it back.
    Finally after reboot use your BlackBerry browser and browse to www.blackberry.com/appworld/download and download the most recent availble .
    Click " Like " if you want to Thank someone.
    If Problem Resolves mark the post(s) as " Solution ", so that other can make use of it.

  • App world wont work

    i just recently bought a blackberry bold from best buy. everything is fine except for the app world. When I go in to my app world,I can not excess my world. the blackberry agreement pops up and i agree and just go back to that page. i cant download anything either. i have rebooted the whole phone and software with no luck.

  • BB Apps World wont work after Handst Change

    I've recently had to swap handsets and now BB App World is giving me grief.  I can download freeware but if I try to buy an app that I had before, an error window comes up to let me know that I already purchased it.  BUT it won't let me download it, or give me the option to buy it again or anything.
    Does anyone have a work-around for this or am I attached to another object by an inclined plane wrapped helically around an axis?

    Here is a sequence:
    1) Remove AppWorld from your BB
    KB10040 How to view or remove installed applications on a BlackBerry smartphone
    If it requests that you reboot the BB, do so
    2) Do a Batt-Pull reboot (power on, remove battery, wait, insert battery, wait), even if redundant to the one you did in step 1.
    3) Install (on your BB) a fresh copy of AppWorld
    http://blackberry.com/appworld/download
    Again, if it requests to reboot, do so.
    4) Do another Batt-Pull reboot
    5) See if it now works.
    As for the Clear Cache...did it work exactly as described? The behaviors that are specific in steps 4 and 6 are mandatory. Indeed, when you return to MyWorld the first time after the Clear Cache, it should actually be empty (no "Installed" apps at all), but it should display a notification that it is refreshing your list. If that did not happen, then the Clear Cache did not actually work.

  • Blackberry app world wont let me log in!

    I have had lots of trouble with my blackberry app world, at first it wouldn't let me log in and then it crashed so i deleted it and re installed it and made a new account now it wont let me log in again! its really bugging me and would like some help with it please, thanks :-)

    Again, with vagueness, you leave me to guess...fortunately, you were close..so my guess is thus:
    KB25882 "An error has occurred. Please try again later" is displayed when the user attempts to login to BlackBerry App World

  • Bought an app and wont download

    I just bought an app and it wont download because its saying i dont have enough local storage. When i check how much storage i have left it says 1.8GB avaible and the app is only 930MB. What can i do?

    Only, haha, thats huge for an app. Anyways, sometimes the iPod won't let you download something of you have less then 800MB left.
    (The app is 930MB which is almost 1GB)
    Try deleting somthings you don't need to save space.

  • Automatic expensive downloads / connections BB Curve 8520

    Hi @ all,
    I'm located in Germany and try to explain my problem/those of my girlfriend   with her curve 8520.
    In September she added an internatflat  and one month later  the blackberry option to use the messenger and email.  provider is Mobilcom Debitel and the net is T mobile.
    Now it came up that her bill increased a lot and the provider can not explain to us. 
    the internet flat is for 200 MB, afterwards slowlier.
    The BB option is for 1 MB, actually the  private email is not much.
    Now the single connection list shows per day several connections and sometimes at midnight as well   going to
    "gprs://blackberry.net"
    the kilobytes for those connections are between 10 and 1440.
    Now we disconnected the email account from the phone, but we still have this problem.
    Can somebody help?
    Are there settings to be changed or what?

    Interesting. But if it says that, just try clicking yes. And correct, the PSK is the pre-shared key, or the wifi password.
    If that still doesn't work, then the solution may be to back up your phone using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and perform a security wipe. To do that, go to Options > Security Options > Security Wipe. Perform a wipe of the application data. Once that is complete, perform a selective restore using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and restore just the databases you need (e.g. messages, address book, calendar, etc).
    You should then be able to start from scratch again.
