Appear effect problem

Forgive me if the solution to this problem has been posted -
My search didn't work. I have applied the appear behavior to the
body of my page and it is not working properly. When it loads it
seems to flash everything first and then the appear effect kicks
in. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Fade/appear effect question in DW CS4

When using the fade/appear effect on a photo in Dreamweaver CS4 I'm having the following problem. The photo loads in first and then it fades in after. How do I make so it only fades in with it preloading?

I've never used this effect. Maybe if you preload the image(s)...
Go to Behaviors panel.
Click the plus sign (+).
From the drop menu, select Preload Images.

Appear effect

Hello all,
I've built a website using DW CS5, but found out spryeffects don't show in IE (i'm a newbee..)
So now I've downloaded DW CC, works much better but one of the effects is gone. Does anyone know how to apply an appear effect of a DIV on click of another one?

Thanks for your reply. Here's the issue:
This is how page is supposed to look like when you open 'ik ben', and it does cause I set the visibility of the green box on top of the pink one on hidden.
then, one's you click on 'gelukkig met' you should see just the box underneath turn pink (green fades away) and the rest green. It works, because the pink box of 'sinds 1977' hasn't faded yet.
After this where the problem starts. If you click 'sinds 1977' again, the box of 'gelukkig met' doesn't turn green anymore.. The reason is that every box that has faded once, doesn't get green anymore.
And the 'appear' effect in dreamweaver is gone..
I have tried to set the visibility, the opacity, the display, but its just a headache.

Firstly, are you installing iTunes for the first time or are you updating your current version of iTunes?
If you're installing iTunes for the first time have you tried redownloading the installer package? Perhaps the file you downloaded originally is corrupted...

If you've tried that, then try installing iTunes as your computer's administrator. To do this right-click the install package and choose "Run as administrator".
If you're updating iTunes to the most recent version try repairing the Apple Software Update program on your computer. It's under the add/remove programs.
1. Open the control panel
2. Open Add/Remove programs (called "Programs and Features" in Windows 7)
3. Navigate to "Apple Software Update" in the list and click on it
4. Click on "Change" then select "Repair" (or just select the repair option in Windows 7)
Once you repair this, try running iTunes and the update again.

Electronic signature - I am not able to sign it, it appears "cryptoghrapy problem code error 13" ?

Last week I was able to sign documents electronically. I got the version Adobe Distiller 9. My electronic signature is linked to a FIS certificate issued by Exostar. This is a corporate FIS certificate, work for Rolls Royce.
Everytime that I am going to sign it appears "cryptoghrapy problem code error 13".
I have no clue what is wrong. Any suggestion.

Fixes for some transform effects problems.
- We were not animating the postLayout properties in some cases where we should have, effectively pinning the object in place. We now animate those properties whenever applyChangesPostLayout is true.
- A copy/paste error meant that we did not animate the scaleZ property in cases where we should have.
- A problem in the transform code means that using a null transform center is not the same as a transform center which uses the transformX/Y/Z properties of the target object. We now force the creation/use of a transform center in all cases to avoid that problem.
QE notes: This breaks about a dozen tests in the transform effects area, but I believe the new results are correct and the tests/bitmaps should be changed.

Appear/fade effect problems

I'm working on a portfolio website: www.carolinedelson.com
The index page image appears how i want it to, but when you click s/s 2013 and click one of the gifs, the images flash on the screen then display the effect. i don't know how to change this to a smooth fade in. I also work in the display mode of dreamweaver cs6 a lot more than directly with the code, so any simple fixes would be really appreciated!

Keynote 09 (with OS 10.6) rotation effect problem

My Keynote 5.0.3 (iWork 09), with 10.6.2 (or with 10.6.1) does not allow me to use the rotate action effect (in Builds). When I select an image and choose Builds > Action > Rotate, a grey window appears in which one could insert another image. The angle popup does not appear, and neither does the clockwise/counterclockwise popup. I am given a fading effect, not rotation!
Rotation worked perfectly in iWork 08, which I fortunately have not trashed. What is even more surprising is that when I chose the effect for one image in iWork 08, then opened the file in iWork 09, the actual rotation popup menu is shown for that image, but remains impossible for any other object.
Anyone with the same problem?

I have installed Keynote in two computers, my home MacBook and my work iMac. Both have the same problem.
This might have something to do with the Finnish version though - a colleague at a Finnish discussion forum was also unable to find the '08 type Rotate menu. I'll try reinstalling with another language.

After Effect Problem when Start program

I've problem with Adobe after effect 7.0 pro (and cs3)
I've Install it and Run Program for first time ( I never used it before this is the first time I run it )
and It says "Adobe After Effect Warning : Unable to create font"
It's not error mark box but it's a info mark (blue mark) box ( i )
and I ran it again it's open with nothing No timeline No Composition No Project bar , everything !
except menu that can't select anything (everything's gray colour can't select)
and When I close it , It appears a box with this quote
" After Effect can't continure : sorry , After Effect has crashed. See

resolve this issue , please contact adobe technical support (2).

and It appear a box that have 2 choice send error report and close (Just like miss some file problem)
I don't know how to resolve it and I read at FAQ at Adobe website , Nothing about it

Well, everything you need to know is in the first warning - AE cannot create the glyphs required to display its interface strings (menus, tips etc.). This is a severe system problem and could be caused by a number of things:
- You do not have sufficient user priviliges to access system directories and files.
- The file permissions of the font directories are not set correctly.
- you have a problem that is specific to your operating system language settings.
I strongly suspect that it is the last one, but to solve it you need to tell us what operating system you are using and what language you are on.

Premiere CS4 effects problem

i have recently upgraded from CS3 to 4 and have been experiencing lots of issues with a project that begun life in CS3, the first of these were a problem with AEP files (with keylight) not appearing or rendering from Premiere. So I rendered off all teh AEP files as quicktime with alpha and used these files in the project instead.
Now I am applying sharpen and contrast and brightness effects to these Movs and they appear to go all blurred in the Project, CS3 used to do this, but on the final render all appeared OK. It new seems that when I render in CS4 the blurriness is taken into the render and the final movies look awful.
Any ideas? It took me 60 hours to render all these quicktime files out of After effects and I'd rather not go down the route of having to do all that again.

Hmm...
Well, you can try some of these things
trash the prefs and clean media cache, though I doubt it will help you in this case
try with a new project and see if the problem persists
uninstall ALL plugins and see if that corrects the issue (clearly HFX5 was never meant for CS4 at a minimum and I'm not a fan of old boris stuff - very buggy)
uninstall and reinstall the Adobe apps and see if that fixes the issue. If it does add back in CS4 compatible plugins only one at a time and see if the problem returns.
also what os are you using and how much memory do you have? could you be running out of memory on a 32bit os?

Hello,,i am having a problem about lighting effect
when I click Filter>render>Lighting effect , new layer has been created called " Lighting Effect " but lighting effect screen dosen't appear
I am using Photoshop CS6

I'm curious how a video effect can alter the audio. The only thing I can think of is that you haven't rendered and the video playback is lagging as a result.

AR effect Problem

Hi,
I have problem with my AR effect. Sometimes all the effects are appearing upside down (180 degree).
For instance, Dinosaur appears and walks upside down in the photo!
Is this a problem with the software or any settings change..?

On experimentation I have found I can replicate this however only in an instance where I can get the camera to register the ceiling as a ground surface, this would be as designed. If I have both the ground and ceiling in view this does not happen, it only occurs if the ceiling is the only "ground: surface in view.

IChat video effects problem

Whenever I use the video effects, I appear partially see through. What is the problem?

After Effects problems with Premiere

This is driving me INSANE. Im using Adobe CS4. In after effects everything works perfect. I then go into Premiere and import an After Effects file, put it on the timeline and everything is fine. I then add a key for adjusting the alpha and the preview image goes black. I erase the key (alpha at 100% of course) and it appears in the preview window again. This isnt specific to this project either. It happens with any after effects file imported into premiere (I've tried about 10 totally different project files). I ALSO have this problem on my laptop computer. My 3rd computer however, I do not have this problem.
If I overlap any 2 after effects files within premiere same problem, screen goes black. I tried rendering the video and the video also renders all black in any format...mpeg2, mpeg1, avi, quicktime.
If I press the play button with in Premiere all of the blacked areas are then visible. Press stop and they go black again.
My computer is a Boxx with Windoes XP x64 edition with a Quadro FX 4800 graphics card. My laptop that also has these same problems is also 64 bit but with Windows 7 with 2 Radeon HD 4850 cards. The computer that I dont have these problems on is a x32 edition windows XP.
I've problem solved this for days now with no solution and nothing I can find in these forums is related. Does windows x64 and Adobe have issues working together?

Problem was my default settings in After Effects had the pixel aspect ratio off from premieres' or that some files differed from others in their aspect ratio. I set it to a default setting and everything is now working. Still seems funny this would cause it to not work, but whatever.
I'd like to thank myself for all the help and support I offered myself.

Adobe After Effects Problems

I edited a sequence in Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5 with no problems. After I exported it, I checked the movie in Windows media player to make sure everything was okay. In Windows Media Player, the movie played well with audio and video. After that, I imported it into Adobe After Effects. The Movie is 1280x720 60fps. However, after I did a RAM preview of the clip, there was still no audio. I doubled checked the clip outside of After Effects and it played with audio just fine. Is there something wrong with the way I originally exported it or is it a software error? Also, when I imported the movie into After Effects, it played in Slow-motion after RAM preview instead of playing in regular motion. Can someone please help? Thanks.

I think that you're clicking the wrong button and not, in fact, using RAM preview. The Play button in the Preview panel does not start a RAM preview.
