Appended field is not available in BI

Hi Gurus,
I have appended a field in the datasource, removed a hidden tick so that it will be available in BI system but after replication of datasource I still could not get this field in transfer structure. When I was checking I found that in display datasource window under "Fields" tab for that particular field "Transfer" column is uncheck, due to which the field is not available.
Now my concern is that how should I make this available in BI.
any Help will be heavily appreciated.

I am on BI 3.5 system.
and I didn't mean that my datasource is not in ROOSFIELD table, it is there but what you are saying is not applicable in my case. in ROOSFIELD, for the appended field the OLPTSrc version is "A" and Field Attribute is "P" which is what the ABAP program stated above will do and I was very well aware of the program.
My, ROOSFIELD output is,
2LIS_XX_XXX A ZZXXXX P
This field was not hidden earlier as well, i could get this field for selection in RSA3 and even in infopackage also.
But, the only concern is what I posted in my 1st question.
How will I get that checkbox ticked?

New DSO data fields are not available for transformations in the upwardflow

Hello,
There are data flow from
many source DSOs -> Target DSO -> Final DSO.
Different transformations are defined and activated with DTPs. This works fine and provides the desired results.
now new fields are added to the target DSO, final DSO and one of the source DSO.
When I now try to edit the transformations, the new fields are not part of the sources at the different stage.
The fields are available in the Data Source created out of a DSO but not directly when using a DSO as a data source.
Have anyone faced such a problem?
any solutions to this?
- I cannot delete all the other transformations as this is too much work to do and there is no time for it.

We created ZMD_BS_MAT_OVP_LAYOUT. But the situation has not changed - the fields are not available for edit.

Field 'Version' not available as a source field in COPA derivation

HI,
I don't see the field 'Version' as a source field in CO-PA derivations (KEDR). Wondering why it is not available for derivation when I can see it as one of the fixed characteristics. Am I missing something in configuration?

AR Invoice Commission field is not available in XL Reporter

Hello All,
I am trying to create a commission report in XL Reporter.
I have a 'Commission %' field in INV1 table of SAP B1 (AR invoice) which is not available when I try to pick it up from the formula builder in XL Reporter.
It is not a User-Defined Field, so my understanding was it should be in the Sales - A/R section of Formula Builder along with the other A/R Invoice line items. However, it is not there...
I was wondering if there is a way to add it to the list?

The following is a FMS query we use to select the part no from a row and put it to a UDF.
Select
$[$38.1.0]
The number 38 refers to the item no when looking at the system information (use View>System information) for the field you want to select.
Use this query (updated to reflect the commission field item no) and link it to a FMS on the UDF you have created.

Sql expressions field option not available in field explorer

Hello:
I would like to create a sql expression field in my report. however when I go to the field explorer panel, a sql expression fields node is not available to create one. Does anybody know why is this not an option?

Also if you are creating based off any stored procedure or View you can't see Sql Exprn under field explorer. I think it is also databse specific. What is the databse you are using ? also what is your datasource ?

Appended Field is not visible repectively listet in the DataSource

Hi,
I've ran into a problem which I'm unable to solve. Maybe you can give me a hint.
I've appended a DataSource (0EC_PCA_3) in SAP R3 4.7 by using RSA6 clicking on the extract structure and using the append structure function.
After that the appended field is listed (in a different color) in the extract structure.
In the next step I've activated the extract structure.
When I went back to RSA6 and took a look at the DataSource the new field isn't listet in the field list.
At this point I don't know what went wrong. So please let me know if you got an idea to solve this issue.

thanks for your hint to deactivate and activate. Maybe it led us to the right track for the solution.
I'm not able to reactivate my BADI-Implementation.
When I search the internet according to the error message:
Field "C_T_DATA" is unknown. It is neigther in one of the specific tables nor defined by a "DATA" statement.
Every answer says that the implementation should be activated anyway, what works for the implementing class, but not for the implementation itself.
I've done the implementation according to this manual:

TIMESTAMP field is not available in BW for the datasource 3FI_GL_P1_SI

We have created a datasource 3FI_GL_P1_SI using transaction FAGLBW03 for the Regulatory Ledger i.e. P1.
Now, when we check data in RSA3, we see that the TIMESTAMP field is available. This field is not hidden. When we replicated this datasource in BW, the TIMESTAMP field is not present. Has anyone faced such issue before?
One more issue with this datasource is that, though the TIMESTAMP field is present in R/3, its data is not correctly populated.This field should store the data in the format (YYYYMMDDHHMMSS) but it stores the hexadecimal data. However, when we check the data of the datasource 0FI_GL_14, the data is correctly populated. Could you please let us know how to overcome these issues?

Adding new field to the page when the field source not available

Hi,
I have a requirement to add vendor_serial_number (manufacturer's serial number) to the page /oracle/apps/csi/instance/general/webui/InstanceDetailsPG. This column is available in mtl_serial_numbers_all_v table. I don't see any VO in that page has access to this. What is the best approach to add this field in the page.
Create a new VO with the query to get the vendor_serail_number based on the item_number, serial_number.
Attach the VO to the AM InstanceDetailsAM or create a new custom AM as we can't attach the new VO to the seeded AM.
Add a item to the page that gets the column value from this new VO.
Please suggest.

3. Extend the InstanceDetailsCO and attach the VO to AM programatically in the extended CO.

Fields in Field Catalog not available when creating condition table

I see that field HIEBO01 to HIEBO12 are available in Field Catalog, but I don't see these fields when creating condition table
Please let me know what I am missing here.

you need to get them added to the pricing structure KOMKAZ or KOMPAZ based on whether you need @ header level or @ item level respectively.
and then add the logic in the sales order user exit for these added field in the pricing_prepare_TKOMK or pricing_prepare_TKOMP...again based on header level or item level.....
Then go back to the field catalog and select from the respective structure and add them, Then you can see them when creating cond tables.

Sender File FCC - Key Field Value not available in file

I am new to SAP PI. I am working on Sender FCC. Below is the source file structure. I need to handle multiple sub structures Header,1Data,*. I think I have to use Key.field Name and Value. But in the below format we don't have any indicator to identify which is header and which is data record. Please suggest how to processed.

Some notification fields are not available at

Hello,
I am customizing PM notification/
I tried to change field selection of several notification fields.
I have suceeded to change most of the fields But I fopund no way of changing field selection for some fields such as:
ILOA-MSGRP (ROOM)
ILOA-PROID (WBS ELEMENT)
Ther are more fields.
Does anyone know if there is a way to control these fields?

These Location and Account Assignment fields can be customized using transaction OIAZ. The customizing you make will affect notifications and orders. Use a influencing field (call program, order type, notification type) to restrict customizing to just notifications if that is what you want.

How to add a new field in target ODS that is not available in source ODS ?

Hello every one , this is the first time i am placing a question
- Currently we have an existing ODS based on 2LIS_02_SCL data source. This ODS is already in production.
We have a requirement to use this existing ODS as our source to load required data in to two different data targets which also are ODS.Their update rules are different.
Problem: There is now a requirement to include a new field (PO need date) in the two target ODS. As this field in not available in our source ODS . How do we go about adding this.
concern: As the source ODS is already in Production, How do we go about loading data if this new field is added.
Anticipating your co operation.

The new field is 0SCL_DELDATE (planned delivery date of document schedule line)
It is already there in the comm structure of our source ODS. But as it was not needed earlier in the source ODS, it was not used/added.(i.e not there is the source ODS update rules)
But now as we are basing our targets on this source ODS.
How do i go about doing this.
The main idea of doing it this way is because we do not want to reload data from R/3.

Contract Currency Field not available for input

Dear experts,
I am configuring RE-FX in SAP ECC 6.0 and when i try to create a contract with a currency different from the company code local currency, the contract currency field is not available for input even though in the field status, it is checked as available for input. I want to be able to use a currency for my contracts different from my local currency. Also, havent yet made any changes to the standard field status settings.
Any kind of advice would be appreciated

Hi Severina,
different currencies for RE-FX are introduced with Enhancement Package 2. Therefore you have to implement this enhancement package and activate the business function for Real Estate and the appropriate subfunction to be able to use different currencies.
