Appending All the fields of one internal table to other

Hi,
while running a FM I get three internal tables, my requirement is that I am running this FM at item level if it is possible to append all the tables datas get as a result of this FM to other internal table having same structure.
I know it is possible while using loop, I need a solution with out using the loop
Regards
Nausal

Move Itab1[] to itab2[].
data: begin of itab occurs 0,
      Maktx LIKE MAKT-MAKTX,
  end of itab.
data: begin of itab1 occurs 0,
      Maktx LIKE MAKT-MAKTX,
  end of itab1.
select maktx from makt into table itab where maktx like 'M1%'.
move itab[] to itab1[].
loop at itab1.
  write:/ itab1-maktx.
endloop.

  • Problem in Summing the value in one internal table. Its very urgent.

    Hi Experts,
I have 10 fields in one internal table and based on the 8th field changing, I have to sum the 3rd field.
I am unable to use AT END OF <FIELD8>, because any of the fields from 1 to 7 are changing, then this control break statement triggering.
Could any body tell me, how I have to do this.
    Thanks,
    bsv.

    Hi,
I think it could be as simple as below.
    DATA: l_field8 TYPE bla bla.
    READ TABLE itab
         INTO wa_itab
         INDEX 1.
    l_field8 = wa_itab-field8.
    LOOP AT itab INTO wa_itab.
         IF l_field8 NE wa_itab-field8.
              "Do the sum here
         ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.

  • Difference between the Field Group  and Internal Table.

    Hi all,
Can anybody tell me the difference between the Field group and Internal table and when they will used?
    Thanks,
    Sriram.

    Hi
Internal Tables: They are used to store record type data in tabular form temporarily in ABAP programming. Or we can say, it stores multiple lines of records for temporary use in ABAP programming.
A field group is a user-defined grouping of characteristics and basic key figures from the EC-EIS or EC-BP field catalog.
    Use
The field catalog contains the fields that are used in the aspects. As the number of fields grows, the field catalog becomes very large and unclear. To simplify maintenance of the aspects, you can group fields in a field group. You can group the fields as you wish, for example, by subject area or responsibility area. A field may be included in several field groups.
When maintaining the data structure of an aspect, you can select the field group that contains the relevant characteristics and basic key figures. This way you limit the number of fields offered.
    Regards
    Ashish

  • In the component overview screen of CO01 I want  to disable all  the field in  screen of table control.I want to make it as output screen only.

    Hi all
In the component overview screen of CO01 I want  to disable all  the field in  screen of table control.I want to make it as output screen only.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Rajib.

Isn't that just exactly what transaction CO02 does? CO01 is for creating production orders so what sense does it make to have it display mode only?
Maybe your goal is to stop then end user changing the component assignment that is automatically  detected by the system. If so, personally I think a better starting point would be PP configuration or user authorizations rather than looking to change the screen by whatever method. As we don't know what you are trying to achieve it's hard to offer much more advice maybe all you need is to change transaction to CO02

  • Dynamic access to the fields of an internal table

    Hi,
Currently i'm having 10 fields in 1 internal table, and i need to validate this 10 fields but i dont like have too many "if and endif" statement. Is there any option to write an dynamic code.
    Example
    Data: begin of table,
               field1 type c,
               field2 type c,
               field3 type c,
               field4 type c,
               field10 type c,
             end of table.
    Let say i want to fill field1 with 1, field2 with 2,........................... field10 with 10.
So instead of using this code
    table-field1 = '1'.
    table-field2 = '2'.
    table-field3 = '3'.
    table-field10 = '10'.
Can i do something dynamic like this
    DO 10 times.
    Dynamic coding, any idea ?
    ENDDO.

    Hi,
Sorry may my question is not detail enough. I would like to read the field from the internal table dynamically.
    Data: begin of table,
    field1 type c,
    field2 type c,
    field3 type c,
    field4 type c,
    field10 type c,
    end of table.
    Let say i want to fill field1 with 1, field2 with 2,........................... field10 with 10.
So instead of using this code
    table-field1 = '1'.
    table-field2 = '2'.
    table-field3 = '3'.
    table-field10 = '10'.
    IF table-field1 < 0,
    endif.
    IF table-field2 < 0,
    endif.
    IF table-field3 < 0,
    endif.
             |
    IF table-field10 < 0,
    endif.
Can i do something dynamic like this
    DO 10 times.
    Dynamic coding, any idea ?
    ENDDO.

  • Display all the fields in one screen shot

    Hi all,
I am having 20 fields in the grid.
but few fields are displaying in the grid and the scroll bar is existing to display other fields
where as i need all the fields in on screen shot.
    let me know it .

    Hi ,
One option would be to reduce the width of the fields in the catalog or manually after the data is displayed.

  • Do we have the option to copy all the jobs from one OEM admin to other ?

    Hi Experts,
I have a number of jobs created under one administrator account in OEM 10g. And now my requirement is to re-create these jobs under some other adminstrator User account.
So, is there any process in OEM , where we can copy all the jobs from one user account to the other user accounts.
I guess create like option can be only Helpful if you are planning to copy a single OEM job. And also , administrator who will copying the jobs , should have a super admins assigned so that the job is visible for him.
So, can someone Help me out in letting me if there is a process for doing this in a single shot ?
Thank you very much for your Help.
    Thanks,
    NAV.

Do you need the jobs to be OWNED by the new admin or just accessible and modified? You can edit the job and grant the user Full permissions in the Access tab. Otherwise, the only option is to Create Like as you mentioned. No batch method.

  • Field catalog for internal table in ALV

In my program the internal table consists many fields from various tables and structure doesn't belong to a single data table.
In order to get output in ALV grid following FM has been used
    REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY
for field catalog the fields are defined specifically.
      l_fieldcat-fieldname  = 'VBELN'.
      l_fieldcat-outputlen  = 10.
      l_fieldcat-seltext_l  = 'Billing doc'.
      l_fieldcat-no_zero = 'X'.
      l_fieldcat-hotspot = 'X'.
      append l_fieldcat to p_fieldtab.
..............and so on for all the fields.
Just wanted to know is there any other method to display all the fields of this internal table automatically so each field is not specified specifically.

    Hi
    Try this instead:
    *& Form  create_fieldcatalog
    * Create a field catalogue from any internal table
    *      -->PT_TABLE     Internal table
    *      -->PT_FIELDCAT  Field Catalogue
    FORM  create_fieldcatalog
           USING     pt_table     TYPE ANY TABLE
           CHANGING  pt_fieldcat  TYPE lvc_t_fcat.
      DATA:
        lr_tabdescr TYPE REF TO cl_abap_structdescr
, lr_data     TYPE REF TO data
      , lt_dfies    TYPE ddfields
      , ls_dfies    TYPE dfies
      , ls_fieldcat TYPE lvc_s_fcat
      CLEAR pt_fieldcat.
CREATE DATA lr_data LIKE LINE OF pt_table.
      lr_tabdescr ?= cl_abap_structdescr=>describe_by_data_ref( lr_data ).
      lt_dfies = cl_salv_data_descr=>read_structdescr( lr_tabdescr ).
      LOOP AT lt_dfies
      INTO    ls_dfies.
        CLEAR ls_fieldcat.

        APPEND ls_fieldcat TO pt_fieldcat.

  • How to split all the fields of output ls-l from an internal table

    Hi all,
Using ls-l command i have brought the file attributes of a file like its read and write permissions, creation date ,path etc in a internal table.
Now how to split all these fields from the internal table or what should be the splitting criteria.
The field contents of internal table are like this:
    -rw-rw----    1  devadm     sapsys     18360    apr  29......so on
I want to split this into different fields.
    Kindly suggest.
    Thank You.

    Hi,
I think the delimiter will be space. For date alone (Apr 29) you need to concatenate after the string has been split.
    Thanks and regards,

  • How to increase field size in Internal table

    Hi friends,
I want to concatenate around 20 fields in one internal table field,
i declared the destination filed as character, now i am able to get around 12 to 13 fileds only , how to increase the length of this field to include all fields ?
or how can i do this ? can any body help me ?
I concatenate this to create a file  which will be send as email attachment.
its very urgent issue, kindly help me to resolve as early as possible.
    Thanks in advance.
    Joseph

    Hi,
    Use the string data type..
    Example
DATA: IT_STRING TYPE STRING OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
    DATA: BEGIN OF WA,
                 MATNR(18),
                 WERKS(4),
                 VBELN(10),
               END OF WA.
    CONCATENATE WA-MATNR WA-WERKS WA-VBELN INTO IT_STRING.
    APPEND IT_STRING.
    Thanks,
    Naren

  • Addind fields of an internal table to another!

    Hi!
I need to add the contents of an internal table to another. Say, I have an internal table itab1 having 5 fields and 10 rows of data.
I have another internal table itab2 with 1 field having 5 rows of data. I need to copy the contents of itab2 to the 5th row of itab1 without altering the contents of itab1.
There is no relation between the 2 internal tables. All I need to do is have the contents in one internal table and display it as a whole.
When I use the 'MODIFY' statement, it deletes the contents of the other 4 fields and adds the 5th field.
What are my options? Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Jonathan.

    <b>option 1 :</b>
    read table itab2 index 1.
    itab1-f1 = itab2-f1.
    read table itab2 index 2.
    itab1-f2 = itab2-f1.
    read table itab2 index 3.
    itab1-f3 = itab2-f1.
    read table itab2 index 4.
    itab1-f4 = itab2-f1.
    read table itab2 index 5.
    itab1-f5 = itab2-f1.
    APPEND ITAB1.
here we have to capture 5 records of ITAB2 to ITAB1 as one single record with 5 column values. so i have used 5 READ statement to read the values from ITAB2 and placed them in the corresponding fields of ITAB1 table.
once i completed reading and populating the values to ITAB1 then i used APPEND to store the values in ITAB1.
    <b>OPTION 2 :</b>
as you are telling there is no relation between these 2 tables, then i am not getting why you want to add ITAB2 entries to ITAB1 ?
if your intension is just to display the entries on the output, you can print the records one after the other like,
    loop at itab1.
      write :/ itab1-f1,....itab1-f5.
    endloop.
    loop at itab2.
       write itab2-f1.
    endloop.
ITAB2 Entries will be printed just after the ITAB1 entries.
    Regards

  • Data package's data coolection in one internal table of Update rule in bw

    Hello Gurus,
I have a requirement in bw which demands to create update routine, in which I need to find the vendor for the material, which doesn't have vendor by some business rule but, here in this case data is divided into different datapackages so here in this case material data is splited over different datapackages.
One material can have n no of records with differnt plants.
My only question is like can we collect all datapackage data in one internal table.
Ex: if there are total 5 datapckages, so in update rule can we collect all these datapackages records?
    Please suggest your opinion.
    Thanks in advance,
    Snehal.
Moderator message: please have a look in the BW forums.

    hi,
i think your problem is need of a work area...
Using "FOR ALL ENTRIES IN lt_zhrp"  You must use " check lt_zhrp is not initial "
DATA: lt_zhrp TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF zhrp,
lt_zhrt TYPE STANDARD TABLE OF zhrt.
    *new
    data: wa_zhrp type lt_zhrp.
    SELECT tabnr
    FROM zhrp
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE lt_zhrp
    WHERE objid = lv_posid.
    LOOP AT lt_zhrp INTO wa_zhrp.
      SELECT low
      FROM zhrt
INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE lt_zhrt
      WHERE tabnr =  wa_zhrp-tabnr  " lt_zhrp-tabnr
      AND attrib = 'NET_VALUE'.
    ENDLOOP.

  • Dynamic field access in internal tables

    Hi everyone.
I woulkd like to know if there is any way to identify the fields of an internal table at runtime. I'm creating a method in a class, and i would like to accept any itab as a paramter and then access the fields of that itab. I currently have the itab passing no problem using field symbols, and i am able to loop at the data, but i am unsure how to get the field names.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Check the code below:
    REPORT ZYKTEST3 .
DATA: d_ref TYPE REF TO data,
    d_ref2 TYPE REF TO data,
    i_alv_cat TYPE TABLE OF lvc_s_fcat,
    ls_alv_cat LIKE LINE OF i_alv_cat.
    TYPES: tabname LIKE dcobjdef-name ,
    fieldname LIKE dcobjdef-name,
    desc LIKE dntab-fieldtext.
    PARAMETER: p_tablen TYPE tabname. -
    > Input table field
DATA: BEGIN OF itab OCCURS 0.
    INCLUDE STRUCTURE dntab.
    DATA: END OF itab.
    FIELD-SYMBOLS : <f_fs> TYPE table,
    <f_fs1> TYPE table,
    <f_fs2> TYPE ANY,
    <f_fs3> TYPE ANY,
    <f_fs4> type any,
    <f_field> TYPE ANY.
    REFRESH itab.
    CALL FUNCTION 'NAMETAB_GET' -
    > Fetches the fields
    EXPORTING
    langu = sy-langu
    tabname = p_tablen
    TABLES
    nametab = itab
    EXCEPTIONS
    no_texts_found = 1.
    LOOP AT itab .
    ls_alv_cat-fieldname = itab-fieldname.
    ls_alv_cat-ref_table = p_tablen.
    ls_alv_cat-ref_field = itab-fieldname.
    ls_alv_cat-seltext = itab-fieldtext.
    ls_alv_cat-reptext = itab-fieldtext.
    APPEND ls_alv_cat TO i_alv_cat.
    ENDLOOP.
    internal table build
    CALL METHOD cl_alv_table_create=>create_dynamic_table
    EXPORTING
    it_fieldcatalog = i_alv_cat
    IMPORTING
    ep_table = d_ref.
    ASSIGN d_ref->* TO <f_fs>. -
    > Dynamic table creation with fields of the table
    DATA: l_field TYPE fieldname,
    l_field1 type fieldname.
SELECT * FROM (p_tablen) INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE <f_fs>.
Fetching of the data from the table
    LOOP AT <f_fs> ASSIGNING <f_fs2>.
Here u can check the validations and process
ASSIGN COMPONENT 2 OF STRUCTURE <f_fs2> TO <f_fs3>.
ASSIGN COMPONENT 3 OF STRUCTURE <f_fs2> TO <f_fs4>.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
    MOVE <f_fs3> TO l_field.
    MOVE <f_fs4> TO l_field1.
    WRITE:/1 l_field(20),
    22 l_field1(10).
    ENDIF.
    ENDLOOP.
