Appl Distribution on Cluster enabled ZEN environment

I have a challenge, maybe someone can help me out with the following situation:
HQ:
3 node NW65 cluster with several virtual servers including:
ZEN-SERVER with volumes SYS and ZENWORKS
APPL-SERVER with volumes SYS and APPL
PRINT-SERVER with volumes SYS and PRINT
etc.
Location 1
1 standalone NW65 server with local volumes:
SYS
APPL
ZEN
Location 2
1 standalone NW65 server with local volumes:
SYS
APPL
ZEN
Location 3
1 standalone NW65 server with local volumes:
SYS
APPL
ZEN
ZENworks Server management has been installed on the Virtual ZEN-SERVER and on the standalone servers on all locations.
Current sources for existing applications are on the Virtual APPL-SERVER
The ZEN-SERVER and APPL-SERVER are running on different nodes.
How can I define the current source files (*.fil and *.msi) in a new TED appl. distribution? We use Drive letters in all our appl. installation objects.
Currently I have to copy the source files (*.fil and *.msi) from the APPL-SERVER to the ZEN-SERVER en use them as in the package source list.
I want to use the existing source files but they are not on the ZEN-SERVER. Does anyone have a solutions other than duplicating the files?

As far as I understand the Distributor is trying to find de 470.fil file in the APPL:\Install\Adobe-Acrobat_4-05_Setup directory.
The APPL volume however is mounted on the APPL-SERVER, not on the ZEN-SERVER.
In the application object the Package source list is:
\\APPL-SERVER\APPL:\Install\Adobe-Acrobat_4-05_Setup

Clicking on the link takes me to the front page of apple support which is not very helpful.
I have an enrolled enterprise Dev account - or at least I think I do as the moneys gone out but apple isn't communicating on the process at all.
ITunes account is verified - twice.
Last Apple Dev took six weeks to get processed - this one is taking at least as long.
Any ideas what next.
NZ Support number asks for an extention and then says beep when you put it in - no go there.
Australian desk is theoretically open but keep getting - this support center is closed messages.
Singapore is a generic help desk - not Apple Dev support.
And now, despite clicking on Dev support it asks me what device I want support for - Well Duh !!! None. Apple Support - oxy moron.

Install of HA MaxDB in a Sun Cluster 3.2 environment

Hi. I am installing SAP Content Server using MaxDB in a Sun Cluster 3.2 environment. According to the SUN doc, I must install the X_server as a scalable resource/service. For a scalable resource, I have to make the disk available on both nodes of the cluster. I need to identify what are all the executables for the x_server so that I can make those mount points a NFS share. From looking at the content of previous non-clustered installs, I am thinking I need to make the directories /sapdb/data and /sapdb/program NFS to isolate the x_server components. Does anyone have experience with this setup ? I've placed a log with OSS but wanted to see if anyone else in the forum has done this before. Thanks for any input.

X_server tool is the the part of the indepentent database software installation <independent_program_path>. Using NFS you could set up the <independent_program_path> and <independent_data_path> directories as share directories.

Apple ID isn't enabled for iTunes Connect

This is making me very upset:( Yesterday, I enrolled as a solo apple developer. But trying to login into iTunes Connect simply isn't working. It says, Your Apple ID isn't enabled for iTunes Connect. What does this mean. I cant find anything on the topic except the same thing happening to others. I have apps ready to launch and I am getting very frustrated.

Got same problem.
I've changed my log in e-mail, activated it through the link sent to my new e-mail and that's it. I can't log in to iTunes Connect, shows me this error "Your Apple ID isn't enabled for iTunes Connect".
I can log in my Developer account, but not in iTunes Connect.
Also I contacted Apple Developer Program Support through e-mail. They gave me my case number - 665965180. But there were no response since, it's already 2 days of silence.
I'm little bit scared, just want to know what I need to do to activate log in to iTunes Connect.
Please help.

If you already have an iTunes Connect account for distributing another media type besides apps (music, TV, movies, or books) or for participating in the Volume Purchase Program, the same Apple ID cannot be used to manage apps. When you enroll in the iOS Developer Program or Mac Developer Program, you'll need to use a different Apple ID.

5.2 update does not send audio from video played via Apple TV to AirPlay-enabled speakers and devices or AirPort Express.

I just updated my Apple TV to release 5.2, which is supposed to give Apple TV the ability to "Send stereo audio from movies, TV shows, and other videos on Apple TV to AirPlay-enabled speakers and devices (including AirPort Express and other Apple TVs)." Problem is, this does not seem to be the case.
I have two AirPlay enabled devices:
1) Bose SoundLink Air
2) AirPort Express
In the Apple TV menu, I selected Settings, AirPlay, Bose SoundLink Air. I then played a video; the audio from the video played from my projector's speakers - not from the Bose speaker. I then went back to Apple TV's Settings/AirPlay and selected "Airport Express" (which connected via an aux cable to a speaker)...audio continued to play over my projector's speaker. I can, by the way, play audio on both the Bose and the speaker connected to the Airport Express if I select either of them from the AirPlay menu.
Am I doing something wrong, or is the 5.2 update not working as described?

No. But, are your speakers only connected to the AE or are they also connected to an amplifier?
You would need to use a Toslink cable to go from the Apple TV to the speakers/amp.

AS well as Eric's two links you may have Upgraded to Mountain Lion and now past OS X 10.8.2
At this point the iMessages login requires that it can access the Mac's Serial number that should be stored on the Logic/Mother board.
In some cases of Repair or Refurbishment it is missing.
Use the Apple icon Menu to left > About this Mac.
Click twice on the line that tells you the current OS level.
It will change to the Build Number (Another counting method for the OS version) and then to the Serial Number.
If it is missing you will need to visit an Apple Store or an Apple Authorised Service Provider (AASP)

Weblogic cluster for 24x7 environment and a front OHS server

Hi experts,
We are going to set up a reliable J2EE application server environment by using clustering webgoic servers on TWO nodes, and a front OHS https server in DMZ for load balancing.
I am new to weblogic cluster and load balance by OHS. I have visited this forum for Fusion MiddleWare clustering etc. Can some experts share some light on this?
Will our deployment architecture be able to handle the J2EE applications failover? In other word, we can restart one of Weblogic Managed Servers when a new release of J2EE codes are re-deployed without impacting business end users’s usage?
Problems we want to solve:
1. All J2EE applications are available for 24x7 even when new J2EE codes are released and deployed on weblogic Managed Servers ANY TIME, side-by-side deployment and restart a managed server if we need to clean the HTTP cache.
2. The J2EE applications should be accessed by external and internal users with a Single Access Point, like

Seems your architecture is like Browser => OHS ( DMZ ) => Weblogic => DB OR Browser => HLB( like bigip ) => OHS ( DMZ ) => Weblogic => DB
Cluster is the solution for load balancing however if you are using OHS for redirection to weblogic then OHS does the load balancing in round robin way. using cluster in this way has a benefit of in case of any one of your managed server is down the OHS will divert connection request to any one of the active managed server ( you have to turn on dynamic list on at OHS ).

Failover is something different, if in case any of the any managed server goes down then your user you get the application session from another server but new one, means the the tasks not saved by the users on earlier session will lost. for that yo need to use cluster and then need to enable the session replication. another best option is you can use the coherence web if you are using latest versions of weblogic supporting coherence web. with that you not need to worry on user sessions and you can start any of the managed server anytime without worrying about the user sessions.

another way is, you can use side by side deployment feature in case you don't want shutdown your application completely, with this, old connections and new requests will goes to old application and once new application activated all new requests will come to new application and once all requests on old application will complete that application will retire automatically.

It seems you are unable to reset the password to your Apple ID. Have you received any indication that your account has been locked? If so, that would explain why the password resets don't work. The following article provides steps which may help:

Redeploy in cluster in production environment

There is a cluster consisting two node in a production environment. The purpose is to make it possible, to upgrade a deployed application to a new version, with the highest avaibility. Is it possible to do it faster than the standard Redeploy method? Couse it lasts an hour at least, and during that time the application cannot be accessed.
          Ideal would be that it could be done without service breakdown. /On one node the application keeps running, on the other at first it is redeployed, than the while the second is restarting the former stops and then that is redeployed too./
          Is it Possible? Or any other way to solve that?

          Why does it take an hour to redoply your app, are you precompiling JSPs on startup or do you have a vast number of EJBs, lots of connection pools with connections that are all created on deployment etc?
          Can you explain your deployment process and are you using WLS staging?
          A redeployment of the application I am currently working on (three ear files approx 100 EJBs and 3 web apps) takes about 15 minutes on each managed server, so we have about 15 minutes of down time. But I think I can get this down to 5 minutes without too much trouble.

          Here is the configuration for our environment.
          Cluster at the webserver level only.
          Mutihomed Solaris.
          Guest user is disabled.
          I call this statement from a class which is application server.
          InitialContext l_objInitialContext = new InitialContext();
          Can I use l_objInitialContext to do a lookup to the application server
          where this class is loaded?
