Apple 10.8.3 mac book air
Hello
I have no internet connection anymore after migrating to 10.8.3
W-LAN is connected to my W-LAN Router and I am able to connect to my NAS, no problem. Connecting with a windows based PC is no problem.
Apple help desk has no answer yet .......
Has somebody experienced the same issues? Solutions in place?

I got this error when setting up a new iMac. I now beleive the reason was that I had already restored accounts and files from a Time Machine backup, and it then connected me to the Apple ID during the login. It is a flaw in the setup process that it didn't check for that and skip the Apple ID step.

How to change the Apple ID on the mac Book Air
Hi,
I just changed my apple ID name.
However, I found some difficulties in applying the new ID in my devices.
The situation is like this:
1. I can not find how to change the apple ID on my air. When there are updates available, I was asked to enter my password.
However, the apple iD was the old one. I do not know how to change it.Continued:
2. After changing the apple ID, I heard that all the softwares need to be re installed because they belong to the old ID.
Is that true and is there any ways to avoid this.

Synchronisation between Apple TV and Mac book Air
Dears, I have issue to synchronise everything I buy on the apple TV with my Mac Book Air. My family is using severals IPad, Ipod and so on, and everywhere the movie bought on apple TV are synchronise and became readable on each single devices. But, not on the Mac Book Air. Thanks for your advices as I can't find any solution to fix it.
If you bought it thru Itunes, you can log into your Itunes account and download the movie from there into your Itunes folder for playback.

I have rented a movie on apple tv and wish to finish it on my mac book air. When I open iTunes on my mac book air I can not see the movie in iTunes. It is an authorised device and I can see other purchases just. How do I fix it?
Rented movies downloaded to an Apple TV can't be transferred to any other device.

After I updated lion to 10.7.4, app store does not recognize my ID APPLE and it unable to connect me to app store in order to update/download apps? What have I to do? I have the same problem with mac mini e mac book air. Please help me!

Hopefully you have a backup of your Bookmarks so then can be reimported back into Safari .. -
my mac book air can't start installation, because i use windows installation in DOS to make partion, now no mac os on it. How to get back the mac os? i have a window based iso image from a friend, because in my country there is no Apple service.
It sounds like you destroyed your boot partition and the recovery partition. Depending on it's age, your MacBook Air might be able to do a net boot. Plug and ethernet connection into it and attempt to boot. If it has the right firmware, it will find a net boot configuration on the net and boot that. Then it will give you a Recovery Partition like display and allow you to reinstall the OS X version that came with it.... assuming that it was Lion or ML. If your computer came with Snow Leopard, then even the net boot won't work.
At that point you need a bootable USB Key, or an external DVD drive AND a Snow Leopard installation DVD.
An Apple Store, if there is one nearby, MAY be able to get you going again. However, whatever is on the SSD now will be toast too. -
Airplay between mac book air and apple TV
I just purchased apple TV and I have a mac book air purchased earlier in the year. I am unable to connect the mac to the TV. No devices are detected in airplay mirroring in display settings. They are both connected to the same wifi. Both are on.
If you're not seeing an Airplay icon next to the TimeMachine icon on your top toolbar to the left of your clock, then the MacBook isn't seeing the AppleTV.
What type of hardware are you using for WIFI connectivity? Some have issues passing the necessary multicast packets to make AirPlay and other Apple connectivity work on the network. Usually all-in-one modem/router devices from carriers like Comcast have been known to have these issues. (Arris gateways from them will not work with AirPlay or AirPrint protocols.) -

I submitted my feedback and it reads "Hi Apple, My family owns an Ipod Shuffle, 2 Nanos, 2 iphones, one ipad and the AppleTV. However, I have an HP laptop. Why? I want the features of both the laptop and the ipad but am not willing to convert to the MAC book until the ipad and the mac book merge together as one. Is this even a possibility? I know you could create it in a split second. Why do you think you haven't? I get sick of unclicking the ipad from my cheap keyboard and then having it all cluttered up right by my laptop. If the mac book had a touch screen and it could flip the keyboard upside down (like the clam case does) so that I could use a laptop like an ipad then I would be on cloud 9. No pun intended. In fact, why don't you just call the thing "Cloud9." Just sayin'"

Have exactly the same problem with my wife's MacBook Air. After restaring in Restore mode and trying to repair the disk (Disk Utility showed errors in the verification), the system tells me to backup as much data as possible (how?), re-format the disk and restore backed-up files. Error comes up when "updating boot support partitions for the volume as required".
Original restart action was done due to software update requesting it, if I remember correctly, iTunes was updated.
I don't want to start a painful back-up procedure (although I do regular back-ups): how should I know, where iPhoto stores it's data or where my mails are (yes, still using local mail)? How can I access the data if I can't boot?
My iMac's disk crashed also a couple of months ago and I'm still recovering. I have four Apple devices, two of them have failed. Can Apple afford such a ratio? -
