Apple 23" Aluminum HD compatible with...

Hi There,
I bought in december 2008 a 24" (1680X1050) imac in Germany. Now I´m planning to switch a similar screen as second monitor: Apple 23" Aluminum HD Cinema Display Monitor Mac LCD with serial # is 2A5291SEPKL. The question is: Would it works?
Thank you!
Cheers,
wiflas

Would it works?
Yes. A mini-DVI to DVI adapter is needed to hook it up.

Why are the application in the apple store are not compatible with the iPod touch 4g? Apple please realize there are some of us who still have the iPod touch 4g! I just want to know.

Once I find the game i will truly screenshot that it states "not compatible for these models". I just find it RIDICULOUS that my iPod touch is in good condition and some of the applications that I want download sometimes are not compatible with my iPod touch 4g. I am not going to buy an ipod 5th generation if my 4g is still going strong since the year of 2010.

Will the Apple IPad 3 be compatible with 4G? As it says on the box and receipt?

To the best of my knowledge, it isn't. The 3rd-gen iPad supports LTE only on AT&T and Verizon in the US:

International LTE support came only with the 4th-generation iPad, unless the information I reference from Apple is incorrect/incomplete.

Is apple's magic mouse compatible with windows that has Bluetooth?

I asked a similar question a few hours back and no answers yet. I think nobody knows since nobody has had the chance to test them. If previous releases are any indication, you'll probably get basic functionality because it is bluetooth, but for the advanced features or setting options you'll have to wait for a Windows driver, which can sometimes take a few months or more.

  • How do I make sure the unlocked iPhone 5s I buy on the Apple Store will be compatible with my carrier?

Hi, I'm looking to buy an unlocked iPhone 5s on Apple Store Canada - but my phone carrier, Wind Mobile, has a different frequency. I know this carrier isn't compatible with the iPhones 4s and earlier, but it was working on some versions of the 5. If I buy one here, will it work?

Ask the carrier if they support the iPhone and if it will work.

No. an monitor with the following video ins will work:

    Minidisplay port
    VGA
    Thunderbolt
You need to purchase an adopter for Display port and VGA

the 4th gen shuffle is listed under Compatibility.

  • Is Apple TV Gen 3 compatible with German TV format

I want to buy an Apple TV as a gift for my daughter and her family who live in Germany.  Is a Gen 3 Apple TV that I purchase in the USA compatible with the German TV format?

    larryfromhouston wrote:
MMaybe "format" is the wrong word.  Is it compatible with either PAL or NTCS?
Neither are really relevant when it comes to HDMI connections which AppleTV uses  - provided they have a high-def TV which can do 720p or 1080p via HDMI they should be fine.
Others have mentioned but it has a universal power supply so will work in most countries given the correct socket adapter or local format lead.
Bear in mind services on AppleTv are region based - forces personnel had previously posted that they could access their US  iTunes content from US store whilst in Germany for example - that may be true for Apple services, but others like Netflix may use location aware service connections that might block ise of those services outside the intended country.

  • Apple TV (2nd Gen) Compatible with my LG RU-42PX10C

We purchased this TV from a friend and I'm having a heck of a time trying to find out if it's compatible with the newer Apple TV before we purchase. Any techies out there able to help me? Thanks a million!

    Hi OC girl
I think your TV only supports 480p and Apple TV (2nd and 3rd Gen) need 720i and 1080i respectively.  The lkinks show the tech info I am working on.

  • Is Apple Logic Studio 8 compatible with Digidesign mbox audio interfaces

I have a MacBook Pro 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    And I have a Mbox 1
I want to purchase Logic Studio 8, but am not sure if the mbox 1 audio interface is compatible with Logic Studio 8
Have heard rumours it doesn't work with mbox2 so i'm unsure about compatibility with mobox1
Does anyone know the score with this, please?
    Many thanks
    BLS

You can go to the Digidesign website and download their CoreAudio software for digidesign soundcards. You should also be able to check if it is compatible with your MBox1. I have a feeling that it is only MBox 2 and above compatible, but you should check to be sure.

  • How can I get Apple to make Zinio compatible with iOS 7 so I can access reading from my library?

I have an account with a public library that contracts with Zinio so I can read magazine subscriptions for free.  However, iOS 7 is not compatible and will not let me open up the reading material.  Earlier versions of the OS worked o.k.  I am trying to find a way to contact Apple to resolve this issue but don't want to pay for online support.  Does anyone have an answer?

I've contacted Zinio, and also the e-library I use.  Will wait to see if they respond.  Thanks.

  • Apple VGA adapter not compatible with OS 5 on iPad!

Few months ago I updated my iPad 2 to OS 5. Since then, the Apple VGA Adapter has stopped working and I'm no longer able to mirror the content of my device on my TV (or any other TVs or equipments for that matter). Before the update, with OS 4, it was working perfectly. That's why on my second iPad 2, the one I use for work intensively, I had decided to keep OS 4 so I could use mirroring. As a sales trainer, I really need that particular feature to project presentations, videos and many apps I'm using, on a TV or a screen (through a projector). Yesterday, I eventually decided to upgrade to OS 5 because I wanted to fully use iCloud and also needed to update Pages, Keynotes etc...
Well, now it's impossible to make the Apple VGA Adapter works!! Same iPad, same cable (the expensive one bought at the apple store), same TV, different OS and it no longer works! My conclusion is that Apple deliberately introduced a function that deactivate the VGA cable in OS 5, probably to force people to buy the even more expensive Apple TV. I don't need Apple TV because I'm traveling and simply need to connect my iPad to a projector or a TV and share my screen. I'm not going to travel with an Apple TV box....Don't mention the HDMI cable because most of the equipments I'm using don't have an HDMI port.
I've seen Apple changing a lot those last few years, slowly becoming a greedy and unethical corporation, it's so sad really...I hope that the competitors will come up soon with a product as good as the iPad.
In the meanwhile, if somebody knows how to make the cable work after the OS 5 update I would really appreciate some help! Thanks!

Strange - my two VGA adapters (model A1368, both  purchased in 2010) work just fine on my
    - 5.1.1 iPad 2 AND iPad 3 (mirroring too)
    - 5.1 iPad 1 (video playback only)
    The iPads are not jailbroken.
I've heard stories of component / composite  cables stop working (my "old" component cable works just fine on all these devices) and it's also known the "old" (pre-March) HDMI adapters display a "Not compatible" dialog but they still do  work if you just dismiss the dialog. However, I have never heard stories of the VGA adapter's stopping working. Are you sure it's indeed the VGA adapter?
