Apple 30-pin adapter for my iPhone 4 and iPod doesn't work
I purchased an Apple 30-pin adapter for my iPhone 4 and iPod touch to connect an HDMI cable to my HDTV. I am able to get audio but no picture. Any suggestions as to what the problem may be?

My itunes can not upgrade. it is looking for athe Itunes.MSI file, but it is unable to find it on the C:drive. How do I correct the error, and reinstall Itune for my Iphone, Ipad and Ipod?
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -
Hi! My friend told me that her iPhone 5 has problem and the charger is not charging. I gave her mine, but doesn't worked on her too. After that I tried to charge my iPhone 5 and it doesn't work on my phone too. Have you any idea ?? What to do ??? Thanx !

Brand new iPhone 4 (unlocked), got it activated yesterday, and speakers doesn't work, did restore back to factory settings, not luck, any suggestions. This iPhone was purchased in US, currently in India, will Apple support in India?
There are many threads on this forum regarding speaker not working issues. You might try searching them. Hopefully you'll find the answer you need.
BTW, the iPhone only has ONE speaker. -
I am trying to import an mp3 audio file into garage band for editing. Drag and drop does not work. any ideas?

I just got an iPhone 4s and facetime doesn't work for certain contacts? why?
I know that facetime only works for those contacts that have an iPhone, iPad, iPod, etc....however it doesn't work for some of my contacts that do have those devices....why?

Adapter for charging iPhone using older iPod connectors
in my Audi I have an iPod cable that will charge my iPod but not my iPhone.
Something to do with the cable being an older firewire legacy connector and the iPhone needing a newer USB.
anyhooz, I remember seeing a 3rd party manufacturer making some sort of adapter. Anyone know if it is out? name of this device?

It's only playing audio but not showing video. What's going on?

I want to be able to use my Macbook Pro to sync my IOS devices with I Tunes, but I think I need the files from the PC that I was using to sync them. Or maybe not !! Perhaps if I just connect them to the Mac, ITunes will do the rest???? Or does it need the sync history?
Or perhaps the Cloud can do it all and I don't need ITunes anymore. I have been using it also to back up the IOS devices and that's important too.

Thank you for all the answers to my query. I had been using the same account on both phone and iPad, but did not make the difference. It said it was compatible with iPad. I just ended up having to pay for it on it as well. Sorry for taking so long to reply.

Firefox 4 for Mac is slow and Java doesn't work. How do I go back to 3?
I dropped version 4 because it slowed my entire computer. there was a constant network load whenever firefox was on. I couldn't use any Java apps like Webex. I couldn't even use your site. I have to send this comment using safari because it waould take forever to type. Since I tossed Firefox 4, my computer has recovered and operates properly. I reloaded Firefox 3 and it seems to back to "normal". I did all the recommendations. I turned off all add-ons. made sure they were all up to date. turned them on one at a time.
I can't use version 4.0How can I go back to version 3? Thanx.

Iphone 4 and ipod classic computer autorisation bug
Hi there,
I'm having some problems with both my ipod and iphone.
I use my iphone on my PC and my Mac so 2 machine only it has not been connected anywhere else, however it tells me that I have it authorised on 4 machines and so i have only 1 authorisation left.
My ipod classic is even worst, as it is only ever being connected to my PC and more than once it has asked me to be authorised and i think i have no more authorisations left.
Many times after a major itunes update the PC will ask me to authorise the ipod for this itunes library.
is it possible to reset this authorisations? and why is this happening ayway?

I have desktop and the drivers seem to be installed but says "Windows encounted a problem installing the driver software of your device"for both iphone 4 and ipod classic 160gb.
The drivers are there and the actuall Apple products work but diagnostics in itunes don't recognise it. I''ve done Norton One/360 scans and no good. I paid Apple $39 dollars to fix and they said its a microsoft issue along with Symnatec.
I've disable the driver for Ipod and Iphone and reinstalled. It just says error updating the drivers and yesterday ipod worked and then did check for repair drivers and hardware and enabled ipod and iphone. Microsoft had a huge queue for 2 days and Apple don't understand windows 8. Can you help me diesel vdub? or anyone?
