I have an iphone 4s
I cannot receive or see pictures sent to me via text messages
I used to be able to now I cant
I have not done the new update.
I hope this is a quick fix
as I am fairly new to the iphones.

iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
make sure MMS is turn on in message settings.
Also MMS is carrier feature if the suggestion above doesn't help then you need to contact them.

Hi there,
are there any general rules for applying pictures and text boxes to rtf-templates?
As far as I have experienced, the text boxes are not shown when generating a report. Is it generally not possible to display text boxes? Are there any work arounds?

So just to be clear, when you say "just bought" how long ago was that? Is it on this new iPhone that you had pictures, texts, etc that you want? Were you backing up to iCloud or onto iTunes?
This may not help for everything but if you go to iCloud.com and log in, are you able to find your pictures there?

Hi - Need advice on placing pictures and text within DIV's

I am new to CSS and am creating DIV's to structure my page.
I am trying to do two things and i imagine the solution will be similar or the same for both issues.
Firstly I have created a container DIV in the centre of my page, within that I would like to place pictures and text.
My questions are
How do i get one DIV to sit beside another one? it is defaulting to sitting underneath it, I have adjusted the box size etc.
When adding text I would like it to sit next to the picture (located in the top left corner) it is currently sitting below the picture.

You can create a class to float the picture left, something like this:
.pic_left {
    float: left;
    padding: 5px;
    margin-top: 0;
    margin-right: 0;
    margin-bottom: 5px;
    margin-left: 0;
When it's floated left the text will be next to it.
Your markup would be:
<img src="images/picture.jpg" alt="xxx" width="175" height="165" class="pic_left" />
Then add the text.

OCD with good reason
With a second backup, as you now have, you are well protected. The update makes a backup to use for restoring after the install but with another you should be in great shape.
Just take you time and be patient, these can take a while to complete depending on server load, connection speed, etc.

Questions on tracking iphone and viewing pictures and texts

is it possible to track the location of another persons iphone? also is it possible to look up past texts/picture messages on a persons iphone to "spy"?

You can track any iPhone with find my friends app but each owner has to approve the location app also I don't know of anything short of a court order that will let someone else see what you are doing on the phone. Now any iPhone or apple device that you know the I d and password for can be tracked from the cloud if they have find my iPhone enabled and anyone with access to the bill can see numbers of callers and texts although iMessages do not show up on the bill they can be set up to go to another apple device as well as your iPhone if they are set up to go to an apple I d instead of a phone number and the iPhone can have more than one numbers messages if they are using the same iTunes account

Picture and text for anonymous user: picture is asking user id and password

I created one html page in KM. In that one picture and some text is there.
Given anonymous user & group permission for picture and html..
created one KM document Iview given the path.
Iview is assigned to Page, Page to role(Given anonymous authorization for iview and page) and Role is assigned to anonymous group.
when I see the preview its asking user/pwd for Picture not for text. If I discord pic is not displaying....
How to display Pic and text in one page, how to maintain the permissions

Hello Polaka,
You need to carefully go through all the recommendations from SAP note 837898 and make sure you have followed everything in the note exactly, most anonymous issues are caused when this note is not correctly implemented.
Regarding permissions, you should give your anonymous users at least read permissions on the picture which is being used as well as on the html file itself.

Adobe Photoshop Touch: Disable snapping in when moving pictures and text

I really have to disable that snap in when I move imported pictures or text in a file in Adobe Photoshop Touch but. I didn't find a feature yet to disable it.

For either importing images or adding text, there's a magnet icon with a checkmark in the options box; tap it to disable snapping.

Horizontal RSS feed- is it possible to create an RSS feed (showing both pictures and text), that scrolls from left to right rather than top to bottom?

I am trying to create an RSS feed that will scroll from left to right rather than top to bottom as is standard in iWeb. Ideally, I would like to show both images and text. I am actually using iWeb '09. I am not opposed to writing html code if necessary.

Pictures and texts are not displayed properly

Hello Apple users,
I've the 15 inch Macbook Pro with retina display, running Mountain Lion. I have noticed that when I chat with my friends in Facebook, the texts in the chat window are not displayed properly. This also happens when flipping through photos that were uploaded in Facebook. Also, pictures are not displayed properly in other websites. For example, today I was reading the news in the Guardian when I noticed that the top bar and a picture weren't displayed properly. The top bar should have showed News, Sports, Comment, Culture, Pensions, etc. all in the same line. Also look at the photo titiled "Should building socities do buy-to-let?" From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
If any extensions are installed, disable them and test.

Picture and text in the same box for the calender?

Is it possible to put a small picture in the box (for say May 4) and also get a short text line in the same box?
When I'm doing it now, the picture takes up the whole box and the text goes underneath.

Unfortunately that's how it works. If you have a 3rd party editor you could add the text to the picture before adding it to the calendar. Put in a feature request at http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphoto.html.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

Opening PDF files using preview on some PDF file result in the content not displaying properly. The file I tried to look at has pictures and text. The pictures are displayed ok but the text is shown as pixalated boxes. The same file opens ok via a PC.

Solutions please. Accessing PDF files online using preview normally works ok. However there are a clutch of files on the mothers union web site that although can be opened, present text as pixalated boxes. The pictures contained in the documents are however displayed OK. I experience the same problem on my Imac and my wifes laptop that runs Lion. The same site has other PDF files that can be opend OK. If I access the same problem files using a PC laptop running microsoft windows, they are opened OK with the text displayed as it should be. This is driving me mad....

For them, I don't know. Presumably, they wish max compatibility for their newsletter, but I really don't know how Office 2007 generates PDF. Maybe they should check transparency settings and flatten before generating PDF? Or perhaps save as PDF v1.4 instead of PDF v1.5? I would use Distiller, but perhaps they can't afford it.

Is there a way to stop an ipad from trying to copy pictures and text?

I have a lot of scrolling text boxes in my project, and I want certain symbols to play when a particular text box or image is touched, but the ipad will offer you the option to cut, paste, copy etc...when one holds their finger on the text for more than a second (very annoying). Is there a line of text I can put in to disable these options for all text and objects, but will still allow individual actions to be written for certain text boxes and objects?
My test page can be viewed here, and one should be able to viewed/download the edge files from this page (sorry they're not zipped).
