Apple AASR asks 336€ for a new macminmi logic board, fare?

A friend has this mac mini which seemed to have ram problems, the light would blink on start up and then give in and shut down on its on during the whole start up process.
I re-seated the ram at one point for her and it worked., later we found it doing the same thing.
So i took it for her over to see a Apple Authorised Repair Center., now the guy says it will cost 336euroes ro replace the logic board., does this sound fare to anyone?
It is a first generation mac mini, it had the airport kit installed, 1 gig ramadn ran perfect for a year with a DVI adapter to a beautifull Apple 22" cinema display, the glass ones, not the tin man ones.
can anyone verify if the price for this is right, sounds a bit high and also unfair since you can get a mac mini for around the same price on eBay now.

In general a genuine Apple repair of a major item
like a logic board is not going to be perceived as
good value for an older computer.
Selling the computer for parts and replacing it with
new or used might be a better way to go. Or finding a
third party repair service.
I would imagine that the Apple repair charge involves
over a 100 Euros of labor cost.

They should have one in Stock, but you never know. Call your Apple Store and tell them you have an iPhone 5 color and GB, and that you most likely will need a replacement, do they have any in Stock. If yes, go in, if not ask for advice on how to handle your problem.

Have you ever checked to see if there is an update for your router? If yes, then power off router. Then on iPhone go into settings and do a reset network settings. Power router back on, and try connecting phone to router.

If none of this is true then no, why do you think apple would trade in iPads for new ones?
If you bought the iPad 3 less than 30 days ago some Stores can exchange it for a new iPad 4, but its a sotre by store policy.And it probbaly won;t apply anymore now that's been almost a month since the iPad 4 was released.

Have you checked lately to see how much free space there is on the disk? Especially since iPhoto freezes at launch ...
Click your Apple menu icon top left in your screen. From the drop down menu click About This Mac > More Info > Storage
Make sure there's at least 15% free disk space.
And make sure the OS X software is up to date.
Click the Apple  top left in your screen.
From the drop down menu click: Software Update
If you have anti virus software installed or are using third party Mac cleaning utiliites, that may be part and parcel of the your problems.

After some months of use my MBP died outside USA. I got it checked in Apple verfied Service centre and was told that logic board was faulty.
After I came back to US I took my MBP to Apple store and was told that there is liquid damage in the system. My question is that if there was liquid damage why did my MBP stop displaying the battery status right after the battery was changed secondly why didnt the apple verified Service centre tell me that there was liquid damage afterall I paid them the money for diagnosing the problem.
Is there a process i can followup on this problem

Suggesting Apple to enable using MacBooks as terminals for the new Mac Pro if connecting through the thunderbolt.
I am planning to get a new Mac Pro this month and use it as a 'portable' workstation since it weighs only 5kg.
I am working on scienctific research which requires travels quite often.
I want to have a workstation with me when I'm off-site so that I can work without worrying about the network connection.
It would be great if I can use Macbook Air as a display, keyboard and touchpad for the Mac Pro.
I will be fully geared by taking a Mac Pro and a MacBook Air with me where ever I travel.

I don't know much about Thunderbold connections.
Especially how does it combine PICe and DisplayPort signal together.
I would like the MacBook serve as an external screen and an external PCIe video card to the Mac Pro, together with its touchpad and keyboard connected to the Mac Pro as an external USB keyboard and touchpad.
In this case, one may not even boot into the OS on the MacBook side, just need proper drivers in the Mac Pro side for the 'external PCIe video card', keyboard and touchpad.

Help WebI when I open a SubReport it ask me for a new authentication

Hi I´m new here, I have a trouble with a report, in the universe I have created an object in which I put the hyperlink that sends a parameter to a new report. When I´m in the Report and I click over the hyperlink it open a new window, but ask me for my logging credentials again to load the sub report.
Days ago I put my info and no problem but now it does not work.

as authorisation in web applications is using cookies please make sure that a) you have accepted the cookie and b) all URLs must use the exact same hostname. I saw you are putting a IP into the link - is the parent record also run via that IP (look at the adress line of your internet explorer).

Sounds like a scam, you likely placed a real order and somehow someone saw that and got your email and sent you a scam email.
Likely the machine or network you were using is compromised in some fashion.
Buy the machine in a retail store instead.

If you want to use the email address that you used on the first account then you will need to remove it from that first account before you can do so e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's or via http://appleid.apple.com - you can create a new email address via http://gmail.com or http://hotmail.com to replace it with.

You may or may not have to use it in the future, but it's worth, and more with the MacBook Air. The MacBook Air has got near all the parts soldered onto the logic board, so if one of these soldered parts fail, the whole logic board has to be replaced. A logic board costs half of the price of a new MacBook Air or more, so you should purchase AppleCare to prevent this type of things.
The MacBook Air has got everything soldered onto the logic board except the flash storage, so you should get AppleCare if you don't want to pay a lot of money to get your computer repaired

Did you use the search/filter box in the Saved Passwords window to find ''all'' occurrences of your login and password? You may have not deleted the correct instance.
