Apple Account Help please!

After I updated to iOS6, I cannot update any apps because it asks for the password to an email that is not my apple account. I have tried going into the settings and changing the ID to mine, and it says its mine, but the other email still pops up when I try to update or download anything. Coincedently, the Email that its asking for is my brother's, but we don't share iTunes accounts. Could this be related to iCloud? Please help because I can't download or update anything! D=

I did. I went there and it says my account's email adress. I signed out of it and signed back in, but it still prompts me to sign into a different E-mail when attempting to update or download apps.

when you open the app store scroll down to the bottom it will display the apple id currently in use, change it to your normal apple id email

Macbook stuck on white screen with apple logo. help please

I have a macbook (black model) and while I was surfing on internet it is frozen. so I shut it down and restarted. When I restarted, it stuck on white screen with gray apple logo and seems like booting but nothing happens.
after that, I restarted again and put installation disc (leopard) without pressing any key and it opened normally. I backed up os with time machine but in one hour it is frozen again.
restarted again but this time it did not boot normally. so i tried booting from cd with c key, it opened installation screen. I have opened disk utility top repair disk, but when I click on disc image, repair / verify disk buttons are unavailable to click and S.M.A.R.T status is not supported.
After all, I tried to erase and install system several times, but after language section when I click agree to terms and conditions, mac freeze again.
So, I do not know what to do. Any help please?
Note: I already tried PRM and Safe Mode. (after safe mode it took me to installation screen again and nothing changed.)
Any help would be much appreciated!
Uptade: Also, opened system profiler and clicked on Serial-ATA, it seems loading but do not show any info. stucked again! help please

You need to select "MacintoshHD 10.5.8 not "disc image" in order to run Disk Utility and Verify and if necessary, Repair the disk.
That's why you are seeing this dialog.

I am having trouble trying with publishing my iWeb site however I am taking to log in screen for the .mac account and cannot log into it. I am not sure if I have one created. I created one through iChat I believe but it is still giving me an invalid account name or password after submitting the website to be published. Can anyone help please? I am currently using a Macbook 2008 series with Leopard 10.5 OS... thank you, Sahara

iChat and MobileMe are NOT the same thing. .Mac does not exist and has not now for several years - it is MobileMe instead, but unless you already have an account which is sounds as if you don't, then it is too late. You can't get one now.
If you want to publish your site, then you'll have to find a domain name registrar and register a domain name of choice and then purcahse hosting too and then you can publish by publishing to a local folder and then uploading using an ftp client such as Cyberduck.
Start by taking a look at http://www.godaddy.com or http://www.hostexcellence.com where you can register a domain name and purchase hosting.
MobileMe will no longer exist as of 30th June this year - it is going and iCloud has taken over, but will not host websites so everyone on this forum is having to search for alternative hosting.
Perhaps do a search of this forum for the relevant topics.

the procedure that has explained at apple support for creating an apple ID without providing credit card information is invalid because when i followed this procedure i did not found the option to select "NONE" in payment method. Can anybody please help? As i don't have a credit card number then what is the other way to create an id to download free apps

What country are you in, and you followed the instructions on that page exactly ? I've just tried it and it worked ok for me for creating a new account e.g. using my computer's iTunes I logged out of my existing account and found a free app in the store and clicked on its free 'price' :

I then agreed to the terms, filled in my details, and got 'none' as an option on the payments screen :

Apple Mail Help Please

Hello all. I also am having a mail issue. It was working fine last night and when I woke up this morning, it stopped working. I am running mail 2.0.5 on 10.4.5. I am running Tiger through the original disks and have roughly 28GB of storage left from my 160gb hdd. When I try to open up mail, I get a constant pinwheel and it does not time out. I have tried to remove the plist and launch it and I have also tried shift clicking on mail like previous discussions suggested. I hope this explanation is detailed enough. I am new to the Mac world and don't entirely know how to explain myself any better. Any help would be much appreciative. Thanks.

Let me paste in the instructions I give for removing the com.apple.mail.plist, and check to see if this is what you did? Also, do you have any email info set up in Internet Explorer preferences (even if not using IE)?
There are some other things to try, but I want to know that you followed the right procedure on the plist.
Also, did you mailboxes originate in Panther or earlier, and then converted when upgrading to Tiger?

Quit Mail, and in the Finder open Home/Library and locate the Mail folder. Control-click over the Mail folder, and choose Duplicate -- then drag the resulting copy to the Desktop for temporary backup. Next, open Home/Library/Preferences and find the com.apple.mail.plist file and drag it to the desktop.
Relaunch Mail, which will open as though new, and when prompted to import anything DECLINE. Instead, re-enter your account info, and Mail will re-discover the account for this account, and all should be well.
Ask any needed questions, and keep us posted.

can any one help me please
i use multiple windows in safari at one time and can any one help me to refresh these pages (two windows) automatically using apple script.
also if I click manually to refresh these pages i get the following note"
"To open this page again, Safari must resend the form you completed to open the page the first time. This may cause the website to repeat actions it took the first time you sent the form."
and i have click send for this to happen
any help from you all will be appreciated as this will help me a lot with the present work that i am doing

Not sure about the "automatic" reload - Opera allows you to set a refresh time interval for each tab, but not Safari. Also, Safari Extender gives you a single click contextual menu option to "reload all tabs".
here is an AppleScript for a one-page auto reload. You might be able to alter the script to auto reload all open tabs.
Not sure about the "warning" message. Can you post a URL so I can have a look?

Two 9320 Curve on one account - Help please :-)

I have two BB Curve 9320 on one email account with separate ID's and pin. One device BBM locked out and asked to verify log in details. Tried this but device synced BBM contacts from other device. Any ideas on how to create individual identities for each device would be welcomed

You cannot have the same email address as your BlackBerry ID on both of your devices , because this newer BBM version integrates with your BlackBerry ID.
So if you remember your email and the password of your BlackBeerry ID then from a PC go to www.blackberry.com/blackberryid first try changing the Username or the email associated with any one of your device , for further help refer to this Knowledge Base :
KB28060 : How to change or update a BlackBerry ID username on the BlackBerry ID website.
Please try it and see if that resolves your issue.

Hacked email account- help please!!

My hotmail account was hacked so I am primarily using my gmail account... So I bought Skype credit BEFORE I changed my primary account to gmail..... I tried to make a call using my credit and it's telling me that I don't have any credit. Would Skype have sent me some activation thing to use my credit to my hotmail account that I cannot get into anymore??

I think if you change your "registered email address" (not profile email address/es), any further emails will be sent to the new address you specified. Well, I suggest that you just contact customer service for accurate explanations.

Email Account Help Please!

Hello All!
I just recently purchased a blackberry curve 8330 from someone off of ebay. When I try to set up email it is saying that there is one that is already established for this blackberry. I got the previous person to delete their email account and she did now it's still saying the same thing. What do I do in this case?
I know the previous person had verizon service but I am using page plus as a provider.
My husbands work and he had purchased his from a previous verizon carrier as well.
What to do?????? I don't understand, I thought you were able to create up to 10 accounts on these anyway.

The prior owner needs to take some additional steps...see this KB:

Removing their old email account isn't even listed -- since it is removing the association between the BB and that carriers BIS is what is needed, and that will accomplish removing the associated email account as well. So, they need to contact their old carrier and have them release the PIN from their BIS and their network. Then you should be able to create what you need with your carrier.
Oh...and just to clarify...email and texting are separate functions, often requiring different service plans from the carriers. Texting is usually part of their voice service plans. Email is usually part of their data service plans -- and even more than that, often part of their BB data service plans...often, a generic data plan will be insufficient to use email on a BB.
If your carrier does not have a dedicated BIS site, then only the device interface to BIS will function. But, if if only shows "Enterprise" and not "Personal" email, then you don't have an adequate data plan from your carrier to provide you access to email via BIS. You can check for carriers BIS sites via this portal:

Oh, and btw...did the BB itself get unlocked from the prior carrier? That as well is necessary before it can be fully used on another carrier. All BB's are initially locked to their original carrier and must be unlocked before using on another carrier. See this article:

Apple store help please

Ok thanks in advance to anyone that will help me...
I bought a mac book pro with many accesories from the online canadian apple store 2 weeks ago that came up to over 4 000 dollars...I have received it and im moore then happy with it.
But then now,ive seen many things on the Online US apple store that i realy cant find on the canadian apple store.I realy want those things(hard drive,mac cleaning kit...etc),all that get to another 300 us.
But its seems like i cant buy from US online apple store and deliver in canada,i ever called apple to ask whats up about it and he said(your in canada you buy from the canada apple store).
There is a way for me to buy those products and get apple to deliver it to me ?
Some brand might dont want to garanty their product for people living in canada,i understand but thats not the reason why they wouldnt be delivering those product in canada...
This is still a ground delivering,i mean im not in iraq there,im living just a couple of hours away from the lines between us and canada...
I wouldnt be buying for only 75 us there,i would be buying for over 300 us...So i think apple should still consider a free delivery and even if they wouldnt,i would be whilling to pay a lil moore to get the delivery done!
The costumer support from apple been pretty straight to the point even close of being rude from my point of view.Thats frustrating to see many many moore product available for us than canadian when we are super close of each other...
My final point is...
I even ordered a simple cap of not even 70 dollar value from a us store,they still have delivered pretty fast and for low price without any kind of problem...
Plus would apple just refused to make over an easy 300 us on me just because im in canada?
